As she improved I was allowed to help mom with toileting. The rehab team did a good job. She progressed and worked hard to get out of there. They were under staffed and had very young training staff. Mom's room never looked as nice as those pictures barely had a chair for me to sit in. And had to hunt for a second metal folding chair for a second guest. It was summer so it was warm enough and sometimes too cold for mom. AC running. Due to Covid we were all wearing masks. They did have a good security system for visitors.

I was placed in a single room with a shared toilet. The room was freezing cold there were no blinds or curtains for the windows. It was the first of November 2023. There was a constant beeping of what sounded like a pager. I only had a call button and a controller for the TV which I lost in the dark because I couldn't control the lights. First, full day. Lots of surveys as though I was going to be there for 4 weeks -- I think not!! Very little true PT like I had received in the hospital. So I began doing all the exercises that I knew how to do. Food was worse than a bad cafeteria and cold. Everywhere it was cold. I could go on and on but I think you have the idea. After two more days, my wife and I finally convinced them to agree to release me. What an ordeal and one I hope never to repeat. Advice: check out facilities before you think you may need them.

The staff seems to be great and they interact well with the clients as far as I can tell (some of them are pretty funny and like to joke with the clients). My mom is there after a fall (which is why I've been there) and she likes the staff quite a bit. The building is a bit older so it has some issues, but the issues seem to be small (like a slat missing out of one of the shades in the room that will be replaced tomorrow). I think that if I was in need of a place to recoup after an accident, I think this place would be fine for me. Mom likes it too. So... five stars... mostly for the wonderful staff.

They provide 24 hour care that is reliable, trained, and highly responsible. They arrange medical appointments, transport, and accompany my sister to all of her visits, obtain and monitor her medications. They even do her food shopping, cooking, feeding and clean up. They have seen her through emergencies, covid, diabetes, and kept her healthy and safe. With all that is wrong with her, they have taken such good care of her she has never even had a bedsore, or diabetic wound. Management is extremely helpful in setting up individual care routines and selecting caregivers who will mesh well with the client. My sister enjoys her caregivers, and many have become like family over the years. If you need part time assistance, help with your meds or feeding, bathing, dressing, Advantage can help you with that as well. There just aren't enough accolades I can bestow here! They have literally enabled my sister to live another decade because she would have died in that nursing home! Now she is happy, healthy, and independent. And you know what? So am I, because Advantage is there doing the difficult job of caregiving. I have peace of mind, and can go to bed each night knowing my sister is just fine!

I went from the hospital with a total shoulder replacement to Green Valley. If you have any needs or concerns, they are addressed immediately. Also the place is spotless they have housekeeper cleaning the facility every day. I am grateful to a co-worker who recommended Green Valley. Needless to say, I highly recommend Green Valley.
