Nutella Stuffed Banana Loaf Slice & Auro Chocolate Chunk Cookie

What a cute and literally cozy cafe! Its modern setup is really attractive but on a cloudy day it can look like it's closed and the inside isn't very bright, it's a moody vibe with about five small tables for 2 and a small couch and a couple cozy chairs. I tried the ube cold foam matcha with almond milk and enjoyed that it wasn't sweet but at the same time would've enjoyed some sweetness to it, I think it would've really elevated it just a bit more. My son had the passion fruit iced tea and enjoyed it! I love that they were able to accommodate it to be a little less sweet. We also tried the auro chocolate chip cookie and banana Nutella bread, both warmed up and delicious! The banana Nutella bread definitely hit the spot, I'd order that again for sure. Service was great! Welcoming and friendly even when I asked a bunch of questions about their menu. Would definitely come again.

Cute little gem in this neighborhood. I was passing by and their coffee is done very well. The baristas explain that they time all their pull for espresso. And throw out ones that are the not the right time. Every cup of latte I have had here is the same consistency which for me is important. The baristas are all very nice. Also pro is that they have a backyard and we got a little whip cream for my pup. Highly recommend anyone visiting the area

    Passion Fruit Jasmine Tea

Went to this place to try out their bubble tea. I got the Passion Fruit Jasmine Tea with tapioca. The tea tasted very nice and refreshing. However, the tapioca balls weren't that soft and more on the tough side. Maybe they were cooked for too long? Aside from that I enjoyed my drink. They had desserts such as pastries and ice cream that I want to go back and try. They have some seating on the inside and a patio out in the back with some tables and chairs.

Barister was very attentive but there's only one of her and it takes a lot of time to make a drink. So there was a pretty long wait as there are 5 of us all at once ordering drinks, all drinks are all very manual, which I totally appreciate.

Cozy cup Library is a cute coffee shop in the Westside area of Jersey City. I've popped in a few times and I do love that it is literally a cozy coffee shop. The decor is very nice with soothing earth tones. I do wish they had more seating and possibly bigger tables for anyone wanting to bring a laptop. They have a nice clean backyard as well and that too has limited seating. The best part is their selection of drinks. They have a nice variety of lattes and teas. The one in particular I enjoy is the hojicha tea which is like an earthy matcha tea. It was my first time having it and it was pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of their coffee but I'm very particular about coffee. The staff have always been nice and explain their lattes in detail. They have milk alternatives. They also have some pastries that look pretty good as well as about 4 flavors of sorbet. Overall a really nice place to relax and chat with a friend.

Service very nice and friendly. Price is a little on the high side. Not a lot of seating availability but a nice little quiet place.

I came back another time because we were in the area and I knew they had good bubble tea.

My entree was shrimp and grits which was also delicious, the shrimp was cooked perfectly and there was a poached egg on top which always makes everything better. I got to pick a type of bread to go along with the meal and was about to choose sourdough until the server mentioned the option of a fresh baked biscuit! Bonus - it was served with butter and house made jam. My husband got the mojo chicken which was also very good, especially the black bean puree. We also wanted to try the crispy bacon fried rice (which also came with an egg!) and it was something we'd definitely order again. Last but not least, the service was amazing! Can't wait to try their dinner menu.
