This is your standard Costco. I think if you've been to one, you know what to expect. I haven't ever been to a "bad" Costco, but this one is pretty reliable in having what I'm looking for. It's clean, has great grocery items, and plenty of stuff I don't need but buy anyway. LOL The parking lot is large enough to handle the weekend crowds (almost as crowded as the Chick-Fil-A in the same plaza) and is situated between blocks so it has multiple access points making it easy to get in and out. read more

I was in the area so I decided to stop by Costco to pick up a few things. It's not my usual store so I was pleasantly surprised that it was not crowded. There were plenty of parking spaces and carts available. The store was fully stocked and clean. While shopping I had to ask an employee where to find an item and she was the sweetest person ever. I love that they are always so helpful around the store to help you look for whatever you need, and what you don't LOL. They have the self check out line moving extremely quickly and there is an employee there to help scan your items. Just be on the lookout, the online prices in the in-store prices are completely different. I got some really good deals today, and they have beautiful things for the holidays. Took my car for new tires then next day while driving on i4 my car and steering wheel were shaking. I was nervous since my car has never done this. Went back to Costco and Greg was not helpful didn't care and told me to come back after 5pm I explained I drove 7 miles and scared to drive my car he said then leave it but pick up 7pm whole day without car. Come to find out 3 of the tires were unbalanced and now my rim is scratched. Never get tired here. My car is now feeling unbalanced again and I don't want to go back where people don't care. Costco is a great place to shop if you are a bit savvy about it. There are a few things we buy there because the price is amazing - cat litter comes to mind. With seven cats, the savings on the brand we use is worth the membership fee all by itself. There are also Kirkland store brand items that are a little cheaper than the name brands, and the quality is as good or even better. Tissues comes to mind. They don't have as many sale items or coupons as BJs, where we also shop, but once in a while we are surprised by a great deal on odd items, like slip-on shoes recently, They have an inexpensive little food court outside, but it can have quite a line at times. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be irritating. A person could get rich, I think, who can design a parking lot that really works in busy locations. It can be crazy busy in the stores on weekends, but the registers move fairly quickly and they offer more free samples during busier times, so there is that. And like BJs, because they sell in bulk, variety is non-existent. They don't sell decaf inStant coffee. Oh well. read more

The customer service was less than adequate. Screamed at upon entering on my first visit ever was told to leave with no explanation until I physically left the store. I didn't even want to go back in but with trepidation I continued. Terrible parking, rude customers, isles only big enough with 2 carts couldn't hold the amount of people trying to cram through to get the "best deal" as if the over stocked and poorly displayed products would ever run out. The folks in the tire department saved our family vacation when I blew out an 18 inch wheel tire on my Subaru on a Saturday less than a week before our beach trip. The replacement tire had to be ordered, and I was initially told that delivery could take one to three days from the following Monday. To my surprise, the tire was there by Monday, two days after my mishap and installed the same day. The only reason I give 4 not 5 stars is because the warehouse is always overcrowded. I have been shopping at University location for almost 10 years now, the staff is always helpful, friendly, and energetic. I have noticed that they have better wine selecttion here compared to other Orlando locations, but no separate liquor department. I have always been able to find what I am looking for, and the helpful staff are always ready to assist. Shopping with my baby now, I particularlly appreciate their willingness to bag items for me and even help me load them in the car. All you have to do is ask. I am not going to talk about all the savinngs, but opening City card gives me additional cash rewards. What can be said that hasn't already been said about Costco? I shop here way too much. They always seem to have great selections and value for many everyday things, in addition to many oddly specific and niche items! I have bought things from disposable plasticware to expensive furniture and tires for my car, and it's always wonderful. Their return policy cannot be beat too! Some tips for shopping, though. It can get INCREDIBLY CROWDED to the point of annoyance, so go early to beat the rush. The gasoline is Top Tier and always around 20 cents cheaper than a normal gas station. The savings is even greater if you need 93 octane! And finally, no Costco review can be made without mentioning the $5 roaster chickens and the food court! $1.50 for a hotdog and soda--they're losing money on this one! However, don't sleep on the $2.99 chicken bake. Tons of protein and it will keep you full all day. read more

I watch Views On The Road on YouTube, she was making tilapia, I noticed the fish was a nice cut. Tilapia looked really nice and thick, so when she said she got it at Costco, I had to go & check for myself. This Costco is in Winter Park and it was packed on this Sunday, wow. I learned that it is because this is the closest Costco with a gas station with really inexpensive gas for its members AND because Costco has lots of stuff. The crowd of people made me nervous, although they do require masks, I did not see any social distancing enforced. There was person whom I saw put down the mask and no one said anything. It was way too crowded for unmasking. What I came for, I found. There is quite a sizable seafood section, with sections for salmon (wild and farmed), tilapia, cod, lobsters in bulk, shrimp in bulk and even crab legs. All items mentioned are available in both frozen and fresh. I grabbed my fresh tilapia filets, nice size, thick also. Not expensive for the amount of fish included, 8-10 filets for about $15. The meat department is ok. The bread & pastries aisle is quite nice and fruits dept is plentiful. They actually had Clorox wipes, I have not seen those seen the pandemic started. The checkout lines was the only place where I saw a little of social distancing with markings(not many) on the floor and a employee directing traffic. Overall, the experience was okay, the crowds and the non maskers made me nervous. I will return for the seafood alone, but will make sure to go early in the day. read more

I love shopping at Costco. The meat department and the produce department all have high end stuff at a cheaper price. My parents and I shop at Costco every day for our fruit banana, egg and milk. We love the food court too. One slice of pepperoni or combo pizza is $1.99. The whole pizza is $9.99. Chicken baked and Italian sausage are my favorites for only $2.70. They are all Costco quality. The service is quite fast as we didn't have to wait too long. They even had self check out station for those pay by credit card and technology savvy. read more

This is the 3rd time we have gotten meat that had a reasonable date in it but when opened it was rancid rotting and disgusting. The other 2 times we just threw it out because we didn't want it in our cars to bring back. This time it was our rack of lamb for Easter dinner and it's unacceptable. Almost $90 for 3 racks and they smelled so bad my kids smelled it across the house. Thank God for sprouts so we could have an Easter dinner after the Costco meat ruined our dinner plans. 4 Stars for your standard Costco-- bulk and discounted food and miscellaneous goods that are actually great quality. This Costco is located towards the UCF area. The parking is more than adequate and the employees are always friendly (yay for paying a living wage!). I was shocked when I first walked in and browsed because I expected bulk no-name brands and saw some items I can get at my normal grocery for highly discounted prices. They also have a bakery that turns out the best supermarket croissants in town. Do yourself a favor and buy a giant pack of these for your own easy brunch (try toasting them for a special, buttery treat). They also have produce, sometimes boxes of unusual fruits. I've had good luck with their produce, but I have only been in a few times, so this wouldn't be my regular produce spot. Beyond that, the clothing selection is suuuuuuper basic (lots of khakis and polo shirts), so give that section a skip and instead check out the fun stuff in the middle-- Pool floats, toys, gadgets, etc. You can find some great stuff there for a party. And that brings me to what I've determined. For my case, living alone, Costco is a really clutch option for setting up for a party. I don't think I need to get my own membership (I just tag along with a member), but I imagine if you have kids and tons of mouths to feed (and room in your pantry), you couldn't go wrong with them. read more

Normal costco, all the same stuff that I am used to seeing. Very clean and well stocked showroom. I do wish the clothing dept was a bit more in season. I'm in Florida, but half the year the clothing is nearly all winter clothing. The one thing that sets this costco apart from others I have been too is the staff. I'm actually not a big fan. My husband is amazing, and in addition to running around the store for all the things I forget, he also carries my membership card and credit card. The issue is when I hand my membership card to the cashier and it's time to pay. My husband hands me my credit card and immediately I am stopped and told that my husband cant pay, that I have to. It's always an argument of telling them that he is not paying that I am and trying to understand the difference of why it matters. Not only are we under the same membership account. We also share a credit card account. I've always been allowed to continue, but I'm made to feel as if I'm stealing or something. It's been bad enough in situations where I've actually have had other employees pull me aside and appologize. I've never had an issue at any other costco. read more

This Costco is on the smaller side but it's close to me so it's the one I visit. There is almost always a line to get gas and I wouldn't recommend going on the weekends because it gets pretty crazy. Staff is always very friendly and store is usually pretty clean. I'd deff go during the week or late at night before closing. If you're looking for the separate liquor store you'll have to go to another location! read more

My wife and I have always loved doing a bulk of our shopping at Costco. We were worried that when we moved from Miami we'd be too far from a Costco, but just down Semoran this Costco is accessible to meet all our needs. While we still usually have to wait a while for gas during the day, the store, even when crowded, is never too hectic. We always find amazing deals on everything we need, and the savings help us every time we come in. Their liquor store is always stocked, their warehouse is packed with all the food, drinks, and supplies we need. Haven't had the opportunity to utilize their autoshop yet, but expect to get some tires in the future. Their Auto program left something to be desired, but that's a national thing, I think, not on a warehouse-by-warehouse basis. We look forward to continuing to be lifelong members. read more

Costo has always been the place to get everything from food to clothes but during this pandemic they have been my favorite store from mask to hand sanitizer this location has been very helpful and the staff is always sanitizing the shopping carts and even limiting the number of people in the store, for that I will always recommend this location. read more

I'm gonna back up Cecille R's review by saying that this place is insane on the weekends. During the weekdays it might be less hectic but there was one time where I came in on a Tuesday afternoon and waited approximately 35 minutes in line to check out, just a warning that there really is no guarantee that the weekday will be any better. I too am amazed by the overwhelming frenzy of people who line up at the sample booth's as if they haven't been fed for the past two days. You can see the greed in their eyes as they speed up the pace when the person on the other side is also approaching and there's only that one sample left. I must say, it makes for great entertainment to watch grown adults (many of whom are termed in the world to be professionals) revert to grade school behavior. It has it's ups of course, reasons why I personally come here is mainly because of the meats/seafood, bottled waters, some produce (mostly blackberries) is of greater quality than you find at regular supermarkets and priced reasonably. The gas prices are usually lower than in most other stations, but not always. The prepared food at the end that you have to pay cash for is a tasty steal, especially the hot dog that comes with a soda for $1.50. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS COSTCO!!! Went to Costco and forgot my card, had a picture of it with me, the lady at the front told me that it is alright. Picked all of my shopping, stood in line and then got told that that they don't accept digital photos, even though you can literally see my face and i had my ID with me. Called the mangers who was very disrespectful, he told us that we will need to get a new card and he also told my 17 year old sister to get out because she is a minor and not allowed in a building without a parent. Honestly we should have left after that... Went to the station to buy another card, stood in line again, a guy at the front explained all the details about the card after which told us to go and stand in another line because this line is for returns only. Ok! Maybe you should start by saying that so i would have waisted my time, as well as tell me that you don't except pictures at the front when I specifically asked. This Costco on university is where we have shopped for several years. In all that time we have never been disappointed. The store is always clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. It's sometimes crowded, usually on the weekends. You do have to be aware of general pricing of items elsewhere because they aren't always cheaper but the quality is generally superior to the competition. Water bottles are 25 cents, Soda is around the 50 - 60 cents, food is very reasonably priced. Pizza is something you'd find at New York, huge pizza slices. At the counter they only take cash while they have an off to the side table with 4 or 5 kiosk to pay with card. I am canceling my membership to this place. We pay to be a member of this place and some of their employees are so miserable that are willing to take it on the customers. I went there with 4 kids one of them with a disability and one the attendants on the self-checkout, she was mad and giving me an attitude not sure if she was annoyed by my kids or what. One of the kid smashed his fingers and stared crying really loud so instead of helping me scan the products she stared saying that it was his fault for having the hands in that area, ok. I even had to tell her to scan the water, so pls tell me how many Costco costumers had to drag the water out of the cart to scan it. I go to this place to spend my money, thousands per month to be treated like that. I felt discriminated because of my kids, maybe she was bothered because they were loud or because one of them stared crying after he got hurt. I bought a membership because the wife wanted one. The location isn't necessarily convenient for us but we know they have great deals and sell a lot of the things we like. We went once and dont know when or if we will go back. It was so crowded with people, and multiples customers weren't kind either. People are walking around bumping into you like its Times Square. This is not the type of shopping experience I like to have with my family. On the upside, Costco does have great deals. Their Kirkland protein bars are similar to Quest bars, and i actually prefer them. They sell dr pragers in bulk which is a go-to item we buy for my kids. I bought new tires at Costco. A major error occurred when the tec forgot to machine tighten my lugnuts on the front driver side. On my trip 2 days later to MI from FL I lost two lugnuts and two studs . It was a Sunday and I had to spend the night in Corbin , Ky. It was very difficult to find a repair shop and it took me till 1 pm to get the situation fixed. Costcos response was to pay solely for the repair and nothing else. No compensation , infact no real apology for the negligence. I was shocked by their lack of concern and their absolutely cold response to my situation. This is a better Costco than the one at Waterbridge due to they are always stocked up and the have tons of sample offerings during the weekends! I come here the most for thorough grocery list shopping other than that I go to Waterbridge for Gas due to it is closer to my job. The good thing about this location as well is when you request extra toppings on your Pizza they sure do the EXTRA on it! The sundaes however they can get skimpy on the toppings and also the froyo. I love that Costco is so close to my house. It definitely made getting the membership worth it. This location is like any other wholesale club you've ever been to. I will say though that their salmon selection is CRAZY! The cheapest I've seen is $19.99 and today the most expensive was in the $34 area but the salmon is HUUUUGE! It's great if you need your fish to last a few days. I love the wine selection. Here in Florida, the wine is inside of the club so no having to leave one building to go to a much smaller one that you can barely get your cart in (cough Brooklyn cough!) Naturally Saturday is the best day to try samples but I was there early (before 10:30) so nothing was setup yet but I'll take missing out on free samples to peace of mind any day!! read more

I've shopped at about 20 Costco warehouses in 5 states. I've been shopping at this location for about a year. My experience is that this location is at the bottom of the barrel. Always a looong line waiting for fuel. Pharmacy is OK and communication from them is good. The organization of Mens & Womens clothing/soft goods is chaotic. Optical shop always has a long wait time for service. The tire shop has very poor service and long wait times. Checkouts have long lines. Self-service checkouts do too. The food court service is OK, although it is usually packed and condiments are occasionally not available. Employees are helpful... if you can get their attention. Costco could really do better than this. read more
