I'm so glad this place opened. Their gas is cheap and the quality of their food is excellent. I consider Costco a one stop shop. In addition to the food items, they have plenty of low priced drug store items and household items. The staff is always friendly and the store stays neat and clean. There's also plenty of parking. I really enjoy this Costco location. It was so tedious having to drive all the way down town just to go to the Richmond location. While the parking lot could definitely be bigger, I enjoyed that this Costco has the attached to liquor store and optometrist office. I also wish the gas pumps stayed open a little bit longer. I love coming here for cheap gas that burns well. I also love the customer service and inside. Bottles of water for $0.25, and very helpful staff. Of course, we come here on Sundays to walk around and he free samples, but this Costco also has some great products. Every so often they have a batch of designer handbags or perfume that you can find that a very discounted price. Also, nothing beats the $5 rotisserie chicken. read more

Had a brand new unit installed through Costco in October 2022, had a few issues with install but in a few visits and pushes from my end things were done as they should and parts that were initially spoken on were provided. Then came another issue with the heat part of the system not working, January of this year. I found out my heater wasn't working Thursday morning but decided to figure out if it was my thermostat before calling the issue in. Thursday night I plugged in my thermostat and figured it wasn't the thermostat but the actual new unit which was installed not even 5 mo ago. I called it in Thursday night and the appointment was made for Sat morning for Abacus to come in and check out the issue. On Sat it was discovered that it was a gas valve that would need to be reordered, since apparently parts are ordered as needed and nothing is kept in stock. They ordered it Monday and the part got delayed because of winter storms in Dallas, so it came in and finally got installed on Wed. Once the work was complete I asked for compensation for not having heat from Thurs to the following Wed, and all they would compensate me for is one nights stay for $100 and 2 years paid for their maintenance program ($99 x2 yrs) ...... first when I checked hotels at that time frame they averaged $135/night and also I don't think it's fair to not get compensated for not being able to stay warm and at home (Thurs to Wed - 7 days total). Now I'm waiting for an answer from the manufacturer of the AC system because Costco washed their hands of this..... they stated that it's either a discussion between Abacus or the AC manufacturer and not them. Still waiting for an answer from them. If I didn't spend $17k on a unit I would just let it be but I figured to put this out there in case anyone else needs to know what may happen once a unit is installed. Was told by an associate I'd have to leave if my son who just recently turned 2 years old couldn't keep his mask on, despite seeing plenty of grown adults walking around not wearing masks properly or removing them to drink coffee and sample products. read more

Already paid for the membership but once I got there one of the employees said I couldn't shop there because of WHEN I bought the membership. The employees were rude and treated me as if I was below them. If you don't like people please don't work in customer relations. read more

Cost co by far is my favorite store. All around great customer service and easy to return. I drive 1 hour to get there and have had my membership for 10 plus years. One day I will have platinum status with them. read more

This review is for the Hearing Aid center only at the League City location only. This group gets a low score because they simply don't care about customer service in my opinion. I tried to get an appointment to have my hearing tested and they could not see me for over a month because they were simply understaffed. I called the store in Pearland and had an appointment the next day. I went back to the store in LC to order my hearing aids and they gladly took my payment but could not fit the new hearing aids for another month because they were again understaffed and booked up. So I waited and finally got them after maybe 6 weeks. My insurance would partially pay for these aids but the manager of this group said he could not help me process any payments from insurance. My insurance said they've done this in the past with Costco so I called the store in Pearland to get advice. This store knew what to do so following their instructions I had payment sent to the League City store to the attention of the hearing aid group manager. This group never called me to say the payment was received for about 1 month after they had it in hand. I finally called them and they confirmed they had it but they never contacted me to say anything. Eventually I got my reimbursement after 2 months of processing it with my insurance company. Recently I had to take both hearing aids back for repair because they simply died or would not power up. I dropped them off October 4th and got them back yesterday the 24th. They had them since October 18th but no one was available to program them for 4 days. Again, I had to call them to get status of the repair because they simply do not call customers in a timely fashion. I've called them before during the day and had to leave messages and never received a call until the end of business, sometimes only to hear they hang up and leave no message. This group is mismanaged and they just don't care about customer service. read more

0-stars!!! Biggest POS store ever! Don't get tricked into going there! They have 0 customer service especially when you try and call them. Seems like it they mark everything up or don't stock depending what side of town you leave in. I'm thinking they won't carry the same items as other locations depending on what demographic you. Sounds very racist to me? Just go look for yourself at another location and you will see night and day what I mean. I have asked them to carry the same items or transfer from another location and they look at me like I'm speaking another language. Hopefully they shut down soon and maybe a Kmart Super Store can make a come back there. Unfortunately, that would probably be a better place than this. Please don't support this location/company if they are going to segregate areas we live in unless they fix this problem! I'm just going to go to Sam's from now on, at least you know what to expect from there! read more

Only 3 stars due to the fact you have to show your Costco card before you walk in. A huge inconvenience, what's the logic behind it? You can't check out without one. And wouldn't it be good for more membership sales if you let everyone in to look around and see if a membership is worth it? I have a Costco Card. read more

Store workers are great, which is why 2 stars. Some food court workers are also. Two food court workers in particular are not. Before you accept food, make sure they at least have gloves on, not play with their hair then handle your cups. And if you need to complain about someone, make sure you get their name or you will be treated rudely and not even allowed to say what they retorted to you about not washing hands or putting on gloves first because she wasn't handling inside of cups, and washed before coming in. Who knows when that was as she played with her hair after walking in (and not even to put on a hair net), so what else did she touch before my cup?? read more

Since the new directives have been placed we were worried that shopping here might be difficult. We were pleasantly surprised at how efficient everything is. We were informed that everyone must wear a mask and since they are almost impossible to find the manager actually gave us 1! I'm sure that this is a rare exception but how nice of them to treat us so well. There is almost no waiting to check out as they have the system down to a science!! Thank you Costco for helping all of us get through this! By the way, still no sanitizing wipes or cleaner but that's a distribution issue not a store issue read more

I've always been a fan of CostCo, but we have sort of a love/hate relationship (love the selection and prices, hate the bulk quantity that's way too much for a small household). Anyways, we were really excited when this new one opened up closer to home. The lot space is huge, allowing for many many patrons, and was equally as crowded as any other CostCo I've been to. Unfortunately, there were no "doorbuster" or "grand opening" deals at the time we went (Sunday of opening weekend), just the regular sales that all other stores were offering. We came specifically for a new TV (our previous 10 year-old one just recently short circuited), and picked up a few other items. Staff members throughout the store were incredibly helpful at directing us to our search items, or helping us navigate our cart with fragile cargo through the aisles. Here's where the bitterness occurred: as we were directed to a check-out line, the staff member tried to sell us on upgrading to the Executive (black card) membership, to which we politely refused. She continued to berate us on why we needed the upgrade, how beneficial it would be for us (honestly, we don't shop CostCo very often, and my other credit cards offer better point benefits, so no thanks), and how crazy we were for buying an expensive TV with the basic membership. I get she was just doing her job, trying to promote the store service, but she may have crossed the line into being pushy and rude. To add to our bitter encounter, at the food court, we purchased a chicken bake, someone behind the counter handed the cashier a parcel and proclaimed it to be a chicken bake, but when I got home, I opened it to reveal a hot dog, oh no! Since I had already gotten home, it wasn't worth going back to make them fix it. read more

If you like horrible service visit this location went in for first time this yr since I got back and spent over$600 on stuff and at checkout great checker but made mistake of buying iPhone EarPods!!! Waited 20 minutes after checking out and asking after every customer after me checked out where are they because they are locked up and have to be brought to u and kept being told they are coming and they never showed up finally said enough I'm getting refund bring them to me over there if they show up in refund line at customer service. Now wait in line again but ask to speak to store manager because I'm mad hot and tired and stuffs defrosting and it's been 30 minutes since checked out and no EarPods still!!! Mike the manager shows up and tells me it's my fault first because I'm not waiting at the lanes and finally says sorry and says do I still wNt them? Barely apologizes and gives me no reason for why I'm still waiting but just doesn't seem to care about me, my purchase, or the fact that I'm returning 239 worth of product and says ok and walks away before the guy behind the counter can even find out how to do the return without the product. So I again have to wait while this nice guy runs after Mike to find out info to do the return. Costco obviously doesn't give a .... about me or my $$$ so fine I'll take it to someone who does.
