A baby Buc-ee's how cute! Breakfast tacos, burritos, and of course brisket sandwiches are ready-made to grab and go. Even better no crowds spotless interior with clean restrooms. Food selection still has most of the favorites they just left the clothing for the bigger stores which is fine by me. Like I need more Beaver gear! Plenty of pumps but I couldn't find any windshield squeegees. Overall good stop would like to see more of these.

Late breakfast, I stopped at Buc-ees and got myself a delicious brisket and egg burrito and a coffee. Perfect. Not at all busy at 9:30 am on a weekday, I was able to walk around easily without crowds. Jerky, candy, drinks, coolers, FUDGE, candy and fresh brisket. Everything you could possibly need to stuff your face properly. Hoodies, hats, towels, stuffed beavers, children's clothes and all kinds of "Southern style" decor items. I got a "Texas" Buc-ee's hat to wear because why not? [Review 859 of 2024 - 614 in Texas - 21889 overall]

I don't have a Buc-ee's near me in Chicago (yet, anyway), so, when I was visiting my son in Houston, I was determined to go to one to see what all the hype was about. We were staying in Pearland, but from what I understood the two there were smaller ones, and we should go to one of the larger ones to get the full experience. I checked the Buc-ee's website, and of the larger ones, the one that would be the quickest and easiest to visit was the one in Katy, Texas. It's really considered a midsize, but from what I read it had all the things I've heard about, so it would definitely do! After driving about 30 minutes to get there, and admiring the three large banks of gas pumps, as I drove in, I pulled into a spot just outside the door. I husband was laughing at me, but I was like a little kid in a candy store looking at the Buc-ee's sign on the front of the building. Of course we had to try the restrooms first, and they were immaculate, and even smelled really nice - not antiseptic, not overly sweet, just a pleasant floral smell. After that we looked around at some of the merchandise, and by then my husband was just about done. He gave me orders to bring him some jerky, beaver nuggets, and a brisket sandwich (his pics after studying the website earlier that day), and he headed back to the car. Our only disappointment was that there wasn't an eating area, because we had hoped to buy sandwiches and sit inside and have lunch before we returned to the car. I wandered around for probably about another 15 minutes, during which I grabbed some candy, some cookies, several packages of jerky, the beaver nuggets, a couple brisket sandwiches and some beaver chips, and a couple drinks. Oh, and of course I had to get my own Buc-ee to bring home! Once in the checkout line, I was pleasantly surprised that I only had to wait two or three minutes before getting up to the cash register, even though there were several in line ahead of me. It was all very efficient, and the staff were all very friendly. The Brisket sandwiches were fantastic, better even than I expected, melt in your mouth good. I'd gotten my husband, the XL size of chopped brisket, and he loved it. I got myself the sliced brisket, and was really pleased I chose in that option. Yum! After that, we filled up the car with gas (my husband seemed disappointed that nothing special happened at the gas pump), and headed back to our son's house, very happily satisfied with Buc ee's, and looking forward to our next visit. Hopefully one will open somewhere near us soon!

I got to visit my favorite local Buc-ee's after moving from League City a couple of years ago. This was my place to stop and grab coffee or drinks and snacks on my way to work early in the mornings and sometimes on my way home off of the night shift. I got to know the night crew very well and could always depend on my favorite cooks to fix me up with a breakfast burrito at 4 in the morning. I loved the people that worked here in the early morning hours. They were always busy, but had time for a quick chat and then we were all off to do our jobs. Always clean, stocked with whatever you needed to start your day. This time the people were different, but still the same great service and smiles. Glad I got to stop, it felt like being home again!

Really small gas station with not enough space at the pumps

They DON'T have ethanol-free gas. Yelp indicates that they stick it, but I was told by a clerk that they don't have it at this location.

PLEASE READ !! Especially IF YOU ARE GOING HERE AT NIGHT AND ALONE!!!! (This is not for the day…read moreshift employee, the day shift is nice.) On November 13, 2025, at around 11:00 PM, I pulled into this Shell station. When I arrived, I realized my card was missing. I called my sister to check if she had it, and I remained parked and on the phone for about 10-15 minutes while she looked for it. Once she confirmed she had my card, I prepared to leave but noticed my gas cap was open, and the cap had fallen off somewhere near the station. I drove back, parked, and got out to look for it along the roadway in front of the gas station. I was walking calmly, looking around, and even laughing to myself because this was the fourth gas cap I've lost -- I was not upset, angry, or causing any disturbance. At approximately 11:30 PM, the overnight employee came out of the store and aggressively yelled at me, demanding to know what I was doing. I calmly explained that I had lost my gas cap and was just trying to find it. Without any reason, he escalated the situation. He became hostile, threatened to call the police and tow my car, and then began calling me names, including "bitch" and "white trash," among other insults. He continued screaming while approaching me in an aggressive manner as if he intended to hit me. At that moment, I felt physically unsafe. I was alone, at night, and wearing medical scrubs, clearly not a threat. My sister was still on the phone and heard the entire incident. Because his behavior became threatening, I called the police at 11:45 PM out of fear for my safety. There was no provoking behavior from me that justified his harassment or threatening behavior. I simply wanted to retrieve my gas cap and leave.

You can literally find just about anything you need here, from snacks and souvenirs to fresh food and desserts. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh brisket and barbecue hits you right away. The brisket sandwiches are fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The bakery section is dangerous in the best way possible, filled with so many delicious goodies and sweet treats that it's hard to choose just one. The hot food section had so many tasty options available that I honestly couldn't decide what to get. Everything looked fresh, hot, and delicious. No matter what you're craving, they probably have it. The store itself was super clean, well organized, and surprisingly efficient considering how busy it gets. The staff kept everything moving smoothly, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. If you've never been to Buc-ee's, you need to stop at least once.
