The manager looked at me like I was stupid when I did an online return and asked about my $10 reward I had used when purchasing online. Every store I've been to issues a $10 store credit/gift card back to you, not just keep it. So instead of doing it or even attempting to they shooed me on to call customer service. After talking to 3 people I'm getting it back but I'll never return any item or probably shop here ever again. I don't like being talked down to or looked at like I'm stupid when I'm not the one who was in the wrong. Pretty wild they didn't feel like doing their job while also making me feel like the idiot. Not cool. There's way more tjx's in the area to need to ever come back to this one. No thanks. Do better.

When approached by cashier he was in a friendly manner and was providing help. Once the manager, Debbie, came to the desk the whole mood changed. She was not only rude and abrasive towards her employees but to us and other customers as well. We had followed the provided instructions given by the email and she berated for not going through checkout rather than going through customer service as we were directed to do. Absolutely ridiculous behavior to tell the customers that they were wrong for following the provided instruction and do it in such a flippant manner.

After buying $300+ worth of items, he put it in multiple little bags. When I asked if we could get a bigger bag since the little bags had started ripping apart even before we left the store, he gave some BS explanation of how the bags are reserved for furniture items and that Ross is extremely strict with their big bags and they will not be getting another shipment for the next two months. Never in my life have I heard this sort of silly explanation and such a rude cashier. I had to argue with him to get a 'medium size' bag which he reluctantly gave us one and put all the multiple little bags in them. I hate to be making a review about something as inconsequential as shopping bags but the two things I absolutely detest are rude cashiers and terrible customer service.
