This place has 1 extremely rude employee! I usually encounter pleasant cashiers, but not today. The cashier-Kendra seem to dislike her job and took her frustration out on me. She acted as if helping me was a huge burden. She was so rude and unhelpful. During checkout, she was grumpy and and so unfriendly towards me. When she did speak, it was a huff and puff. I left so annoyed with her customer service, I should have told her to correct her rudeness towards customers and take a customer service 101 class cuz evidently she needs it. She spoke to me in a poor manner and spent her time talking to her co worker. I paid cash and went over to pull my cart towards me and she was like, "come over here and get your change" rudely. I was appalled. I took my change, said thank you and she looked away annoyed. WTF is her problem. AVOID KENDRA checking you out! Next time I see Kendra, I will def let her know she's a sucky cashier and a sucky human! Costco is great! I came here to get some groceries, and although I wasn't accustomed to the layout of this Costco, I still found everything I wanted. I was surprised by the pesto focaccia, which I've never seen at other Costcos, so I got it to try it out. Produce doesn't look as fresh as California's Costcos, but maybe that's not a fair comparison. There's also no self check-out, but check out was quite fast and there was a sufficient number of check out lanes for the number of customers. I didn't immediately see the gas station though and forgot to get gas. Costco's great for bulk buys! read more

The roommate that's name is on the card is currently sick in the hospital, so she cannot go to Costco, but me and the other roommates needed to. We shopped around for 30 minutes and got to the checkout only to be met with the rudest attitude by the rudest employee known to man. Didn't get her name, but she was short and had curly dark hair. She showed no compassion and forced us to leave without any groceries. Who does not like Costco! It's a huge warehouse of food and unique merchandise, need I mention the food samples. One could easily waste hours wondering the warehouse. The prices are decent, but you have to remember you are buying in bulk. Great for families but not so good for single people. Membership fees are around $55 year. Most Costco's have gas stations which offer a decent price for regular and premium grades. I've had my membership for over 25 years. I've also had a Sams Club membership as well and If I were to chose between the two, I would keep the Costco membership. read more

Okay, let me just start by saying I like Costco, shop Costco regularly, and hope this is very unusual. Today I bought a slab of st. Louis style ribs. When I got home rather than put them in the freezer, I decided to split them into two packages. When I cut open the package from Costco, I smelled Rancid meat. It was bad! I called Costco and spoke with the manager, he said he would refund the money. Of course that is the right thing to do. But what now concerns me, is the thought that the other meat that I did not open but just put in the freezer could also be bad. I guess from now on we must check after shopping. I would strongly advice not going to this store. I got a membership and was told I could return anything that was defective. Word for word, I was told, "you can bring in a 10 year old, used mattress; and we will refund you." Bought a $1000 laptop. The employee who sold me on it lied about the specs. Told me the specs for a $1800 computer, so I thought I was getting a great price. Week later, I noticed the computer having a ton of issues. I only used it for school work. Went back to this store to return it. They told me I had to contact their electronics number. I contacted them, they told me to go back the store. I went back to Costco 5 times before I just gave up. The computer is essentially garbage, and unusable. Had to go to bestbuy and buy a refurbished $300 computer because that's all I can afford now. The $300 computer is 2x as fast as this "thousand dollar gaming Pc." Oh yeah. Gotta love the 30 minute lines here... and every time I come, the women working the checkout lines complain nonstop about how much their jobs suck. Costco has a very favorable return policy. That is unless you get a manager who decides to give you a hard time because she doesn't think the time-frame is reasonable! I was insulted and disrespected yesterday when I returned a product that was of such poor quality Costco should have been embarrassed to sell it! I pointed out that I did not write the Costco return policy! The managers need to be trained better about how to treat customers, especially ones who have been members for a long time paying the high membership fee for years. The fee is partly to pay for the generous return policy! Costco seems to want it both ways. I have been a member of Costco before they were even Costco (Pace Club) but I think I am now going to give up this membership. I have always purchased my eye glasses with them but NEVER again. The employee was so busy trying to tell me that my frames were not suitable, this after he manipulated them and tried to bend them as he made his decision whether they were 'worthy' or not. The frames were only a year old but he claims that due to face oils that the frames could be damaged. Puhleeze. If the frames you sell at your store get damaged due to 'face oil' after a year, then you sell some pretty cheap a&*s frames and I don't want to go there anyway. He must make commission selling these cheap frames (maybe to pay for his moustache). Stay away, goodbye Costco. read more

As a sr citizen( myself & wife), due to the Covid-19 pendemic, we do not see the social distancing and face masks being utilized to protect the senior. Thus we started using delivery services, but cleaning supplies of any kind are not available for delivery. Costco just communicated we had to come in to secure these products. From what we have read from the Governor of Colorado, he is recommending staying at home for seniors. These statements from Costco don't support the needs of us. read more

I love love LOVE Costco. We use them for everything - pharmacy, optical department, tires, online ordering, photos, food court...and of course grocery shopping. The amount of money you can save at Costco is amazing. They have quality products for a fraction of the price. And sometimes they have sales on top of that. Then there's the best part...the samples! My kids absolutely love going to Costco and tasting the samples. They will eat things at Costco that they'd never dream of touching if it was on their plate at home. The food court is such a great deal too. $1.55 for a gigantic hot dog and a drink...can't beat it! read more

Time after time the Managers are not customer service oriented. The tire shop is open til 6pm and I had a flat on one tire. A nail was in the tire and needed a plug! At 5:15pm I came in to get fixed only to be told they close at 6pm ..The manager who is an idiot(TOM) said I can't help. With a snow storm reported for that night and closing in 45min. they refused to honor my warranty or fix the nail with a plug..1 tire...wow this is Horrible. I hate this old version of costco. Ugh! They fullel everyone to just 2 registers. The new way of costco configuration allows you to line up through rows of product. The entrance is also a funnel and those lookie loo-s on the way really keep those that know what they want from being able to get in. The parking lot is tight and also shared by other stores. All in all it's a costco i hate to shop at, but have been forced to on a time or two. This store location sucks! Not only don't they want to make a sale, they could care less. After seeing a camera marked on sale at another club location, I went to this location to get the camera. Guess what?? A price difference of $149 was at there store. I asked a clerk if they would price match this with the other location. Guy didn't even want to talk about it. Review of Costco's Tire shop not the main store. Just had a full set of snow tires put on my car. Ordered them online and waited for their call. First, I kept tabs on the tracking number, saw the tires arrived at their shop and didn't get a call! So I called for an appointment. Got an appointment date a week out from the day I called. Second, I was told at the desk(Richard?) that the Costco data base for their tires on online may not be correct. So if you plan to order tires from Costco online, be sure to verify your tire size with your car's manufacturer. Glad I did. Third, I found out from the very friendly lady who works their front desk, that there is ZERO miles warranty on these tires, a fact not stated on their website! Basically, the Manufacturer of my snow tires doesn't warranty these tires! Costco will still repair flats but I'm out of luck if something major goes wrong with them. next time I'll need to dig deeper for this info since it is not provided on Costco s website. Not sure what position that guy Richard has, but I did find his demeanor to be a bit rude. All in all, I had an average experience with Costco tires....rudeness and the inconvenience of ordering through their website, balanced by the friendliness of their other employees. Because of today's experience, I'll probably purchase my next set of tires from a non-Costco tire shop. Update (2 days later): In all the years I've purchased brand new tires, I've never had any unknown white material ringing my tires like in the attached photo. Do not buy your tires at Costco. I got there BEFORE they opened at 8 am and then waited THREE hours in the parking lot for them to fix a simple screw in my tire. This should have taken 30 minutes max. When I asked them what I had to do to to not waste so much time next time they said, "Oh you were on the phone and we didn't want to interrupt you." Are you freaking kidding me? There is not one single person who would rather sit in a parking lot for THREE hours no matter what! I called my mom to pass the time. I texted people. I listened to music. Could you not just wave me in when you could take me? Stupid! Profoundly stupid! And they were in No Hurry either. Just 5 guys taking one car at a time going real casual and slow. I have never, ever gotten in for a flat in under THREE hours. Even when sitting in the food section right next to the counter. I like this location. It is generally busier than some of the other locations but I feel like it offers a lot more organic options. The store is always clean and the cashiers are fast and super friendly. The food line is generally too long to stand in, but if you do, the pizza and smoothies are my kids favorites. Totally UN-helpful with an issue I had about just checking to see if the two prescriptions I have (one of which I got there, maybe both) are the same. The prescription is for 2 years and she said I am 11 months out and I should just take anther exam...I said I didn't need that can I just come in and see if these two prescriptions in my 2 eye glasses are the same. I make a weekly trip to this Costco, and there's always something to get. They've got great food: fruits/veggies/berries, steaks, filled pastas, cheeses, etc.. It won't replace a trip to the grocery store, but you can definitely get some good premium (and organic!) stuff here. Stock is always changing, so sometimes you get a bonus treat like a palette of Nintendo Wiis. The store is well laid-out and has wide aisles. Even when busy you can still get around fine. Lines at the checkout registers move fast even on Saturday afternoon. The couple times I've needed to ask for help with something, the employees were quite helpful. Also, check out their auxilary services like the auto buying program: they saved me 4 grand on my last car purchase. Costco does much more than you see on the surface. read more

This Costco is the only one around this area, having a large selection of meats and produce coupled with a wide variety of Colorado favorites. I've been to a number of Costco's in both California and Colorado and I can say that this location is great. They change up their selection a lot by bringing in some more varietal items every couple weeks. Their food court is great too with inexpensive favorites like pizza and hot dogs. read more

A few weeks ago I stopped in at Costco in Louisville because the shared restroom at my office complex was running out of supplies and Costco is a decent place to stock up on tp & paper towels. What a friendly and well-organized Costco this one is! Before this one existed I had gotten used to the Westminster Costco, for the years my kids were in school. But I really like this one better. Once I graduated into empty-nester-ville I did not need to shop for Costco-size batches anymore, + my employer had given me a free membership to Sam's Club, which was in Louisville, but closed down awhile back. Anyway, my daughter and I got a Costco membership to share. Then I proceeded to not use mine. At all. The shopping in big batches just doesn't attract me like it used to, I suppose. I thought I was still within the year we had paid for when I stopped in to get the tp and pt. So I got those items and heaved them onto my cart very slowly. I walked around for a bit to see if anything else caught my interest. I got a bit of organic produce. I looked at the frozen foods. Interesting. I got some kind of freeze dried fruit snacks that were just too good a deal to pass up. When I went to check out and the cashier ran my Costco card through her machine, she informed me that my membership expired a few months ago. I remained calm and asked what the cost was to renew. $50 isn't so much really but when you're on a fixed income and it's around the end of the month, it really is a lot. So I just didn't have it. I calmly told her that, and offered to go put my items back on the shelf. She was very nice and had a manager come to the register. The manager was very nice too and let me purchase my items that night but said I would need to renew my membership next time I was there. All of this was handled quietly and in a non-embarrassing way that I really so much appreciate! So I do hope re-join. We're lucky to have this Costco 10 minutes from home! read more

This is our regular Costco location and I've adjusted to the orientation (some Costco's are laid out in the opposite orientation). My overall experience with the employees at this store has improved. While I don't find the cashiers to be the most friendly people around, they are professional and timely. My only problem with this Costco (and probably all Costco locations) is that the products I normally purchase come in and out of stock. On one visit, I will be able to find everything I normally buy and on the next visit none of those products will be in stock. It's difficult to plan a trip to Costco when you never know if your normal purchases will be carried that week. Also, Costco has ended it's partnership with American Express and at some point in the future you will no longer be able to use your Amex here (you'll have to switch to a Visa). I wish there was a little more clarity behind when this switch is happening. I never know what card I can use when checking out (and I don't want to be yelled at by an employee again for using the incorrect card). I would also recommend avoiding this Costco on the weekends if you can. It gets VERY busy here on Saturday and Sunday. read more

Good store, good prices. However, the encounter I had with the cashier ruined the experience for me this time--For the record, I regularly go to Coscto, and have never had this problem before. When I went to checkout, there were no lines at most registers (Costco had only opened about 20 minutes before). I asked one of the cashiers who was leaning against the register station, and chatting with a co-worker, if he was open (he goes by the name Thura S). After a moments pause, and a slight stare-down, he said he was. Since there was no line, I passed him my cart without unloading it, and asked if I could get some boxes. In a condescending tone, he replied, "What"? I repeated myself and again in his usual tone stated "well, i'll have to unload everything then". I get it, usually a customer unloads their own cart, but there was no line, and no time for me to do this before checking out, so I figured passing him the cart was the most efficient option. Throughout the whole transaction, he avoided eye contact with me, either by starting at the ceiling or looking off to the side. Maybe Mr. Thura was having a bad day, or maybe he was upset that I inturped his paid chat session. Either way, I don't really care--his behavior was unacceptable and it put a serious damper on my morning shopping expience (hence, why I'm taking the time to write this extensive review...to vent my frustration). read more

There is nothing more I like to do after a hard week of work is to go to a packed store and hunt for the product I want or an employee because they moved it for the 3rd time that month in hopes that while your searching for it you will buy more... Now that I have a child, Costco is wonderful! It's seriously stupid how much/often little people eat. Top that with the fact that our food industry is disgusting and I prefer to buy organic, real food, this is my spot. Typically there are samples at almost every endcap, great for keeping that roaring little monster/child tamed and content :-) I can buy huge amounts of healthy snacks, fruit, veggies, etc etc. They rotisserie chickens at $5 are a steal, without hormones and antibiotics ( I read that Costco loses a ton of money selling these). I only have two real complaints. They don't sell organic whole milk. I've been a member for months now and they've never had it. Second complaint is the horrible employees. Seriously assholes. One of the reasons that I feel good about supporting Costco is because they have integrity and they pay their employees well. These people earn between $15-$20 an hour, have health and other benefits. I rarely ever have a cashier be kind or hospital to me, even though I usually have the cutest human ever in the cart ;-) Seriously though, if the cashiers at Target can smile and provide menial banter, surely you can. I shop here a lot! Ever since they started to sell New Zealand And Australian lamb -I shop here a lot more. The only thing I don't like about it is that it makes me spend a lot more than I intended to :)) I usually run up a $$$ bill here... but then I go only once or twice a month and I also started to make a shopping list. Here is what it has best : selection of fresh fish, lamb, chicken,fresh vegetables and fruits, snacks ( those dried granny smith apples are to die for), organic kid friendly snack stuff, kitchen and bath supplies, juices -- have you tried the carrot juice? Okay, these are the reasons I like Costco. 1) their croissants are GREAT. 12 for $6 is a much better deal than any bakery or chain grocery store. Whole Foods across the way charges $5 for 6 little ones or $2 for one big one. 2) they have a lot of premade dinners (like chicken alfredo) that is pretty tasty. I wanted to try the chicken enchiladas today but I will wait and hopefully their will have samples at one point. 3) good fruit. Today I picked up some REALLY tasty pineapple spears and strawberries. 4) they do have a nice selection of organic. Okay, the bad. Looking in their produce section makes me sad for the waste. TONS of items have expiration dates that are today or tomorrow. Shame all that food is wasted. I really wanted to buy the organic minature carrot stick packs but even when I found one with a March expiration date they looked really dry. Okay, the UGLY. The lines in this place are often AWFUL. Also, the only CC they accept is their American Express. Even Sams finally came around and accepted Mastercard (which made me happy so I could earn my airline miles). read more

As a broke college student, spending $50 on a Costco membership seemed like a lot, but BF and I have definitely gotten our money's worth. We stock up on a lot of paper/office supplies and non-perishable items as well as fresh produce and meats. So... basically everything we can fit in our tiny apartment. Since I am a huge fan of cooking, it's wonderful to be able to find quantities of ingredients for much cheaper than the regular grocery store. The only downside is that you have to be careful with their rotating stock. Most canned/dry goods are always available, but sometimes they randomly don't have items. Even that is a minor inconvenience when you think about the staples you do find all of the time. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare but there is always a spot to be found. Plus, if you're in the know, you can park on the side of the store by the Tire Center (shhh! Don't tell anyone). As others have said, the staff is wonderful. They're knowledgeable and friendly which is extremely helpful in such a huge store. Even if you're not looking for anything in particular, Costco is a fun place to wander around. Plus, if you go on a sample day, you'll be treated to bites of a variety different items for sale. read more

This Costco has an excellent selection of organic, all natural and vegetarian options. If you are Vegan, they don't have as many options (a lot of the patties had egg except for a Morning Star Vegan burger) but there are still lots of choices if you look closely. Last time I went I picked up a 6 pack of coco water, a large bag of quinoa, organic chia seeds, Cliff bars, and the vegetarian stuffed grape leaves to name a few. They carry an awesome line of Gluten-free Vegan cookie dough! Delicious and easy to make :) They have Almond and Soy milks and I like their selection of frozen veggies and fruit. I wish they had more organic produce but what they have is good for now. They had organic apples, spinach, and carrots when I was there. Other non food items that I find Costco good for are the deals on tires, the gas and the camping goods. I had purchased an excellent vacuum from Costco and I just bought an air bed. It was $50 which was the same price people advertised their beds on Craigslist for. Next time I need new camping gear I'll definitely check out their tents and supplies. It's really exciting that this location has so many healthy food items, probably because it is near Boulder after all but I hope this motto spreads to other locations across the country. read more
