Went to get gas and the first thing I see is the Costco attendant helping a un-masked customer, but guess what the attendant wasn't wearing a mask either, maybe a foot or two in between the two.. Waited my turn and the attendants changed and this one had no mask either? Must be peer pressure as most of the customers had no face coverings either. Costco should lead by example. I used the photography department today and everything went very smoothly. My picture came out exactly like it looked like on my computer and it arrived 4 days earlier than expected. COSTCO!!! I mean, who doesn't love Costco? Sometimes the hubby and I end up buying more stuff than the 1 or 2 items we originally came for but that's fine because Costco is that awesome (that and we get to try to samples xD) They recently rearranged everything so I'm trying to get used to the new layout but I find it rather annoying... But the food court food is awesome - come on, just $1.50 for a hot dog and a soda?! Hell yeah! My favorite is the chicken bake; my hubby's new favorite is the turkey-provolone sandwich (which I've tried and it's really tasty) - oh and that gas at Costco is significantly lower than anywhere out in town?! If it were socially acceptable, I would name my children variations of Costco! Our expectations are exceedingly high for any Costco and this one was middle of the road. When we were there, the samples were minimal and many of the displays were in a bit of disarray. The most amusing thing we saw was the three folks charging their iPhones at the apple display. We always love Costco and this is the first one in a long time that we've found that has some room to improve. read more

The fact that fake service animals are in the store almost every time I go there GROSSES me out!!! Only REAL/VETTED service animals should be allowed! Any animal with an Amazon vest isn't a REAL service animal, if they are barking or growling it's not a real service dog. Who doesn't love Costco? My 5YO loves Costco so much that she asked to come here for her birthday dinner. This Costco is always clean, smells decent, and the produce is always fresh. My only tip would be to go during a Seahawks game because it's one of the only times of the week that you can get decent parking and not have to wait in line (although last week this was not the case). The employees are always friendly and there should be an extra star option for the door checkers that make special pictures on my receipts for my 5YO. read more

I should add this is directed solely to the pharmacy.. I have tried three separate times now to give them a chance. And every time they have not come through. This most recent experience I thought I'd give extra time. So I called in the refill request at 830am and opted for a pick up at 2. And then I purposely waited until 5:30 to pick up, assuming there's no way it won't be ready. Wrong. After waiting ten minutes in line I was told that it wasn't done. And on top of that, they needed to check and make sure it was available. This is something that should have been done when it was placed. And while I understand things get busy, and they get backed up... this is Costco.... short of a full power outage they should be able to accommodate with staffing extras if this is an issue. And it is obviously, as I'm going 3 for 3 on this exact scenario occurring. I don't care if it is going to take 12 hours to fill... But don't tell me it will be ready by a certain time without knowing without a doubt that it will be ready or calling to let me know otherwise. And knowing this is an obvious issue at this location- maybe stating that it will take an extra 5 hours on every rx so that it guarantees it will be done. read more

I love this Costco!!! I go there probably twice a week. 9 out of 10 times I get great customer service. I love that they have installed the self checkout for when I have just a few things. However, there is a female team member with braided hair not sure what her name is who is not the best at taking care of the customer. I thought the first time was a one off until I went back in today. I went in for water and dog food. My husband is a contractor so I usually buy a few cases of water for the house and the work vans. I understand with covid they are putting limits on things. I searched the entire water area for a sign with the limit. Couldn't find one so I didn't want to be greedy I just grabbed what the limit was last time I was in 3. I went to cash out at self checkout. Instead of helping me ring up the water she took one of them and said " the limit is two" OK? So I'm happy to follow the rules how about help ring up the water with your little gun and then take the other one? I tried to let her know that there were no signs this time she didn't listen. She was to busy being upset that I had to many waters. Costco I will say she just isn't very friendly and not your usual extraordinary players. It's her body language and delivery. Sorry to have put her out this round. I will avoid the self checkout when she is there. It's easy to be kind. With everything going on there is going to be confusion and mishaps. Optical shop is worse then DMV I got to Costco a half hour after they opened. There were two people ahead of me. I took a number. I waited a half-hour and not one number was advanced forward. I shouldn't have to get to Costco a half hour early just to get service when I get there. Worse then going to the DMV. read more

I'm fed up with Costco Silverdale Pharmacy!! It's ALWAYS something. I'm type 1 diabetic and somehow they manage to be out of the Insulin I need, the sensors I need or they do t run my meds through my insurance and try to get me to pay $600 dollars for insulin. The latest is ordering 6 boxes of glucose sensors and wanting me to pay $225.00 for them! This is complete BS! I'm over it! read more

This Costco is typical for Costcos in Washington State, but something to note is how horrible the parking lot is designed! Only consider going during non-peak hours, for your sanity. The entrances create bottle necking and lines, lines, lines. I have watched people park at Goodwill - across the street - and walk to Costco. They're willing to lug their purchases across the street because of the limited parking at this location. The entrance into the gas station is also narrow, creating bottle necking. If you don't enter from the side closest to the pumps, my only advice is good luck! The products and services are standard, and the employees are super helpful. I will add that the inventory is always well stocked and clean, and the store doesn't smell like grease and cardboard. read more

More and more I am questioning if the frustration of trying to push a cart through the "dance of the morons" justifies the savings on staple items. How one person can block an entire Costco aisle baffles me, but it happens. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. People lose their flipping minds over a sample of cheese - burn a gallon of gas waiting 20 minutes to save 9 cents a gallon - extoll the virtues of a meat tube blissfully unaware that each polish sausage they shovel into their mouth is a 600 calorie fat bomb. Do I want a box????? Yeah - I don't happen to have a shopping cart at home, genius - and I'd really rather not have to make 19 trips to my car to unpack my purchases. The store itself is fine - not the amazing deals I remember from 20 years ago, but still worth the trip - to the Gig Harbor Costco. Generally speaking, I am a huge fan of warehouse clubs. You *can* save a bunch of money if you buy frequently used items in bulk. I am also not fazed by the task of dividing huge packages of meat or seafood into smaller bags for freezing. This Costco store in Silverdale, however, is a major soul-sucking letdown. Merchandise on the floor tends to be organized haphazardly. It's also a pain to navigate big-ass carts around every aisle without hitting someone or something. And what is up with the absence of aisle labels?! What purpose does the store serve by merely NUMBERING each aisle? Why, in the name of Jebus and his hairy goats, does store management expect their customers to possess telepathic powers to determine where stuff is located? And when you finally do find what you need, you can bet every dollar in your wallet that it will not be on that same shelf next weekend. It will serve you well if you DON'T try to remember where and how stuff is located because the frustration will compound astronomically if you must shop at this Costco every week. After all is said and done, your shopping experience at this Costco store is manageable if you arm yourself with a stout sense of humor. At the very least, pretend you're a pirate seeking buried treasure. Or you're geocaching. Or something. read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. My sister and I went to checkout and the women ringing us up snatched our membership card from us and accused us of fraud. This was very offensive. Especially when it really was our card. She called her manager and the manager actually apologized to us and continued our check out. Never coming here again. read more

Recently we had the pleasure of purchasing a set of new truck tires from Costco in Silverdale, WA. The customer service was phenomenal! And we mean that sincerely. We ordered a set of tires several weeks before we would need them for travel. Due somewhat to Covid we suppose, but mostly due to the extremely poor service of FedEx in Tacoma, the tires took weeks to arrive. Each time the service manager would call FedEx inquiring about the tires, they would still be sitting at FedEx in Tacoma or on a delivery truck which never seemed to arrive. This went on for weeks. Eventually the manager requested assistance from the Regional Manager to help solve the problem. The service manager received permission to purchase two other similar sets of tires which were picked up from two different locations. That way no matter what we would have a new set of truck tires by the deadline. The day of our appointment, the original tires finally arrived. We received the exact tires we wanted and possibly the best customer service we've ever seen! Thank you very much! read more

BULK?? yes, i think i will. it almost seems like having a costco card, or even wantng to, should be considered an inconsistency...consumerism, over buying things i don't need, over consumption of...everything. it's so mainstream...so not "punk rock". pffft. i just got a 4lb bag of organic quinoa for less then $10. now i know what you're thinking, "why would anyone want a 4lb bag or quinoa" or maybe even "what in sam hill is quinoa?"....all of your questions need to be submitted in writing and will be answered at the end of this segment.... KIDDING!!!! 1. why wouldn't a person want 4lbs of organic quinoa because: b. quinoa is a cereal/whole grain which the incas thought to be sacred...probably because it is magical....it's not only high protein, but also has balanced aminos....that means complete protein....WHAT WHAT!! ....my question now, is why don't YOU have a 4lb bag of organic quinoa?? back to costco-they don't really have a lot of options as far as organic or vegan...in fact, it's minuscule compared to the giant store and it's giant sizes. they do have some here and there though....look for the neon highlighting on the price signs...it's like a decoder. organic products are usually, but not always, highlighted. it's like a scavenger hunt...fun, kinda stressful...but when you find something really good, it's totally worth it. read more

Costco offers a great value on what they sell so I keep going back. However the Silverdale store has turned into a mess with their remodeling and constant moving items around. You would think that if Costco store management wants you to buy something they would make it convenient to find something. Like have people help you find something. The checkers have gotten ruder and ruder over time. I always bring my large Costco reusable bags in and each time the checkers just put stuff back in my cart even though I ask that they use the bags. I love Costco. Who doesn't? Its a marketing genius!! Place items that people don't think they need right at the front and they totally forget that they came in for just milk and eggs. Wanted to spend $50 and ended up with $300 or more in your cart? You are not alone! You my friend have been duped by the marketing geniuses of Costco. That's why I love it. Who would've ever thought I'd need a gallon of my favorites shampoos and conditioners? Costco did and sure enough I do! They have a lot of quality brand clothing at amazing prices, great prices on books and movies and it's amazing to buy in bulk when you have a growing family as I do. Another bonus is coming down on an empty stomach and walking around to all the free testers and filling up before checking out for the $1.50 hotdog and soda!! My only qualm is the parking. I wish they had undercover parking especially here in the rainy pacific NW. My Facebook friends know how I feel about Costco. Overall, the place bugs me to no end! It's overcrowded, parking stinks, and pulling out my card just to walk in the absurdly large front door annoys me more than anything. I love Costco! Buying in bulk means less trips to the grocery store. I hate grocery shopping with a passion, so much so that I have gotten in the habit of using Safeway.com. However, something I hate even more is overcrowded stores. Trying to get through the aisles between customers who lack shopping cart etiquette just sends me over the edge. Unless you go right at opening and closing, this Costco is fairly busy. I suck it up and shop there because they carry certain items that I can't find at other stores. After enduring the large crowds, unruly kids and uncomfortable sensation that you seem to be in everybody's way trying to shop yourself, I find myself swearing that I will never be back. But it being the only Costco in Silverdale where I reside, I find myself back there time and time again. Love the store! Hate the crowds. read more

What a fabulous company and fantastic employees!!! They were booked solid all day and I had an emergent need for a new set of tires. The tires were worn out and one tire had a non-repairable leak. My own fault, I know. I made the mistake of going to The Silverdale Firestone store and ended up getting nothing but a lot of frustration. They told me that they had the tires I wanted in the correct size in stock. After an hour and 15 minutes I was told that they didn't have the tires in stock due to a computer error. That's fine, mistakes happen, but it took another 45 minutes to get the car back. At my wits end, I went to Costco knowing I was going to have to leave the car there overnight and be without a vehicle the next day. This is when the miracle happened... They had a last minute cancellation moments before I arrived and were able to fit me in before they closed. On top of that, they put a set of Michelin tires (the best touring tire on the road) for cheaper than the Firestone store quoted me for a decent set of Bridgestone's. I had my car back in 35 minutes! 4 tires in 35 minutes!!!! Costco, you have amazing employees, great prices, and top of the line customer service! I will be coming back the next time I need tires. You have earned my loyalty for life! read more

Costco for the most part is pretty consistent across the states which is a plus for me. I know what to expect and my battle plan is always the same: while my wife shops, I go around and attack the free food samples on each corner, scout the electronics section and hold down the fort (shopping cart) while I eat my MR E's (hot dog and a drink). My wife gets her shopping done and my appetite satiated. I always leave with a smile on my face - mission success! read more

I know it's a little ridiculous to review a Costco on their deli, since they all have the same things. But let's be real, some are cleaner and more pleasant than others. This one is nice. The counter girl is sweet and helpful, the patrons weren't climbing over each other to reach the soda machine, and no one stole my cup when I put it down to condiment up my hot dog. Win win win. This Cosco gets really busy.. Even for a mid-weekday. But its pretty nice, lots of friendly people and staff! :) has a good selection of outdoor stuff as well. Also has a gas station. I love Costco. The quality of products, brand name or no name or house "Kirkland" brand, is always excellent. The cheeses, the meats, the wines, the ravioli are all fantastic. Not like Safeway, where half of the food products border on un-eatable. Everything comes in big containers. Even the shampoo comes in half gallon jugs, a little clumsy in the shower, but hey, that's what it;s like if you buy your shampoo at Costco. We have gone to this Costco a few times since we moved to Bremerton, the people are SO rude! The first time we went, the people ahead of us had some meat that was leaking blood, I told the gal who was boxing stuff and, instead of cleaning it up, she grabbed a handful of paper towels and tossed them at me. After I handed them back to her, she rolled her eyes at us and cleaned up the mess. The next few times we went, the cashiers didn't acknowledge us at all, the last time the cashier actually snapped at me. We bought a large carport and had to wait more than 20 minutes for help that they called for before we even left the door. We would rather drive over 30 minutes to the Gig Harbor Costco than go 10 minutes to Silverdale. read more
