I returned to Wonder today because I had a few people over the house and we all wanted different…read moretypes of food. This time when I came in to pick up, there was someone there to greet incoming patrons and hand off their order. He was friendly and quickly gave us our bag. I was disappointed when I got home and found that two of my favorite ingredients in my salad were missing. To me, these ingredients made the salad desirable (goat cheese and candied pecans) so it was a real bummer and to make matters worse, the balsamic vinegar I received with it was not enough to cover all the greens and grains, so the salad was very dry until I added balsamic vinegar of my own to it. Luckily, my guests food was all there and made the way they requested. I am keeping my rating the same because I contacted customer service to complain about my expensive lackluster salad and the representative was friendly and actually showed empathy to my frustration. She quickly resolved my issue satisfactorily.

Best food court in NYC !!!…read more I have probably ate at 1,000 different stalls inside the New World Mall food court over the years, so let me be its 1,000th review. Seems fitting. Considering I just did another mini food tour with my friends today, this place has been my go to for a quick bite in Flushing since its inception. Not a whole lot of the stalls have lasted over the years, but a handful remain, while the new entrants keeps the food court interesting. Below is the current list of vendors as of May 2025. I also added my favorite item from some of my usual spots. #2 Chongqing Zaier (Yunnan) #3 Ke Lai Qin (Hunan) - chili fish head #4 Joe's Steam Rice Roll (Cantonese) - shrimp roll #5 Tarim Uyghur Cuisine (Uyghur) - lamb skewer #6 A Zhong (Taiwanese) - thread noodle soup #7 Kung Fu Tea (Boba Shop) #8 Grilled Squid (Korean, Chinese) #9 Xiao Luo Luo (Guanxie) #10 Xiang Ba Ye (Hunan) #11 Piaoxiang Yuan (Dongbei) - potato noodles #12 Tiger Sugar (Boba Shop) - black sugar milk tea #13 Gong Cha (Boba Shop) #14 Lanzhou Handmade Noodle (Lanzhou) #16 Laoma Ma La Tang (Szechuan) - mixed dry pot #18 Eight Beautitudes (Korean) #19 Chong Qung Xiao Mian (Szechuan) - spicy noodle #20 Yozi Duck Vermicelli Soup (Shanghai) - duck soup #21 Nai Brother (Szechuan) - sauerkraut fish #22 Mr. Pang (Taiwanese) #23 Ramen & Udon (Japanese) #24 Tian Fu (Szechuan) #25 Chick Rocks (Chicken Shop) #26 Mojoilla Fresh (Taiwan) - egg waffle #27 Royal Queen (Cantonese) - roast meats #28 Xi'an Cuisines (Xian) - lamb burger #29 Liu Liu Sheng Jian (Shanghai) - soup dumplings #30 C/K Dumplings & Noodles (Dongbei) - dumplings #31a O'Sun Teriyaki (Japanese) #31b Wang's Beef Offal House (Cantonese) - beef I do wish this place was cleaner, smells better and have free wifi service. However, I'm here for the great food options and can overlook quite a bit. Therefore, though there are shortcomings, I block it all out and just enjoy what they do offer, which is large variety of delicious cuisines from around China/Asia.

Made my stomach feel not so clean after but it was good! The soup dumplings were okay, I don't think it's the best or worst I've had. The food court has no reception and can get very packed, especially since this place gets talked about a lot. The food court also has cool vending machines with blind boxes that are sometimes hard to find which is nice. If you live here it's pretty convenient place to stop by.

Urban Hawker isn't a restaurant, but a food hall with lots of Singaporean and Malaysian food vendors. This means lots of different options to choose from. :) We split a Hainanese chicken rice plate and an order of chicken and lamb skewers, both of which tasted very yummy. While we also wanted to try a dessert, the dessert stall we were interested in was unmanned. We were also feeling pretty full from our main lunch items.

I heard about this Asian Singaporean inspired food hall in the middle of Midtown, so I was curious…read moreto try it out. I finally stopped by for dinner around 5-6pm. From my initial impression, I was honestly kind of underwhelmed. When I first entered, it seemed like a ghost town with so many of the tables empty like it had just opened minutes ago. Towards the later evening after 6:30-7pm, it started to get packed towards the back. This food hall consisted of several stalls mostly Singaporean & Indian cuisines - with some hint of Filipino, Chinese, Malaysian , etc. You order, find a table and pick up your food when it's ready. [Just note that some dishes come out in plastic containers as if you are taking it to-go even though you are dining in]. I opted for a Singaporean spot called Prawnaholic and opted for the #3 HOKKIEN MEE. Don't get me wrong, it was good. But I'm not sure that the dish was that good to equate the cost in terms of portion size or taste. Maybe if it was slightly cheaper, I could make sense of coming back, but otherwise, I think I would prefer buying other dishes elsewhere. Overall, I find that price are high (typical midtown prices for foods) for average tasting foods. I personally was okay with trying it once and would prefer other food options as opposed to this food hall.
