We got our gas here before return our rental car, the gas price is almost 50 cents less than outside, which is great! This is a bigger gas station, each line has 3 gas pumps and also have light indicating which pump station is available, which is neat. read more

Costco Gasoline - Gas Stations Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Early this morning I was one of several customers who could not get gas at the Chandler Costco. I waited 15 minutes. I watched several disgruntled customers come and go. I reached out to customer service with a request to have this reported and receive feedback. I was told they did not do this. Considering the increasing cost of membership and other options, perhaps it's time to reconsider 11 years of membership. read more

Quick and easy, best prices in town! Who doesn't like to save money!!! Lines are long but they go fast.

Pretty empty for a Saturday morning. We were in and out within 10 mins!!! Clean location and very convenient to get into from the Main Street. Other Costco locations always make you drive through the parking lot get to the gas station. read more

Costco Gasoline - I haven't seen these prices in years!!! - Gas Stations Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

No more discount value Costco's fuel prices are equal or more compared to over 75% of the stations in Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria. I would drive 7 miles for Diesel to the Deer Valley Costco, NO MORE. I can buy at my local Fry's at equal and sometimes lower than Costco. I polity asked a manager whats with Costco's fuel prices being higher than most of the stations. Response was snubbed and shrugged her shoulders. Lately when I go to Costco the fuel islands are mostly open, when the lines use to go out to 27th ave. Today I paid 8 cents a gallon less for premium at my Fry's compared to Costco. ALSO Costco claims there Diesel contains up to 5% bio, it either has it or it doesn't. For a couple of years my mileage was a little higher using Costco diesel, no more additives. About April 2025 my mileage dropped on average 1 MPG. Nothing wrong with my engine everything is up to par. I went back to Sam's which is about 4-5 cents a gal less. Started using additives again mileage back up. Sam's does nothing special with diesel where Costco claims they add special stuff to make it Top Tier, no more. read more

Great price. Love that it has the signs so you can see which pump is actually available. Not the most convenient Costco for me but it was less than 5 miles where I was at & a $0.30 differential was absolutely worth the short trip out of the way read more

Costco Gasoline - $3.69 for 87 & $4.19 for 91 - Gas Stations Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Be careful when your shopping if you have to use the restroom and Fabian's working, he will stop you, tell you you can't go through the line to get to the bathroom. Take stuff out of your cart because he won't let you go to the bathroom with stuff in it. Never never never never had this happen at another Costco. I talked to the managers. Nothing. I will never walk into the store again, and I would never spend another dollar in that store again. read more

Why Costco gas is higher than other Gas Station? Quick Trip and Frys has $2.99 for regular and Costco is $3.33 ? Whyyyy?

Now that they have opened the new gas pump area (April 2023), they can have 30 cars filling up at the same time. This makes this Costco gas station about the most efficient in Phoenix, and you can't beat the prices. read more

It's a great discount, generally lowest ppg in our area. Also if you use the Costco Member Visa on the fill up, you get 3% credit to be used in store. (This accumulates over time and is issued 1 or 2 times a year). Usually lines are long. Best to go early in morning or early evening just as store is closing to cut down on wait. read more

Why does an automatic, self-service gas pump require an employee? Honestly, I don't really understand why this gas station needs staff when the stations appear automated just like any other 24/7 place. I drove up to a gas pump around 9:05 pm and the employee yelled out that they were closed. I asked if it was just an automated machine, and he said "nope." As you can see in the photos, the place has an automated gas tank and also a feature to verify your Costco membership. Maybe I'm missing something, but I thought having the employee refusing to let me get gas 5 minutes after closing time was weird. What does he even do, supervise me pumping gas? I don't get it. They should just be open 24/7 and let the machines do their jobs. read more

I would really love if the pay at the pump allowed for mobile card access. I often do not carry my card with their large initiative to using the app. So, I do that. It's very inconvenient to be stuck needing gas and being trained to use the app but with limitations. read more

Worth the wait. My car requires premium and at the time of this post... regular is $2.739/gallon, premium is $3.139/gallon. I find that typically the cost for premium is about the same as regular at non-Costco stations. There's ALWAYS a line but you'll find it moves pretty fast with 12 pumps in use at all times. The staff is also helpful and courteous. FYI...you cannot use MasterCard or Amex credit cards to pay. Also... for anyone who doesn't know or maybe you live under a rock You need a Costco membership card to be able to buy gas. read more

Five stars For Isaac!!! This the only place I've brought gas since the prices have skyrocketed Costco has the cheapest price I've seen around the valley. And Although the attendees are always friendly and courteous today was different Isaac walked up and asked me if can he help me as I was returning to my car, as I was about to get out the car once the pump stopped he proceeded to tell me no need to get out the car ma'am and asked me if I wanted my receipt I was so taken back with gratitude and honor because I recently battled and beat cancer and germs are on the touchy side for me and the fact that Isaac stepped in like a pure gentleman it blew me away I actually tried to tip him and he said no!!! Kudos Isaac Great Job!!! Keep up the good work You made my day....... read more

Costco Gasoline - Issac doing a Great Job!!! - Gas Stations Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Costco keeps the COST LOW! This Costco location typically has lower gas prices than the others in town. Buuuuut because of that, their gas station is always crazy busy... which is the knock on this location. I've waited for 20+ minutes for gas multiple times, and there's not as many gas pumps as other locations as well. If you don't mind waiting for potentially 20 minutes for gas, then you're gonna get a good gas price. read more

Great gas price for Phoenix area, long lines but worth the wait to save money on fuel. It's Top Tier fuel so best fuel for best price in area. read more

Costco Gasoline - Gas Stations Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Consistently lower prices than neighboring gas stations. That is the reason to choose it. However, I wish they had windshield washing solution and a squeegee. I also wish they took more credit cards, but understand it is part of low cost. read more

Great prices (usually about .20 -.30 per gal less than everywhere else) but you'll wait for it! Lines are always crazy, there's really no slow time of day or way around it. read more

I just love Costco for everything. The gas is just a huge perk of being a member. I love it. My sister isn't a member and asks for cash cards for her birthday so she can use it at the gas pumps there and save money. read more

Great buy in gas. Can't be beat. Lines should be getting longer as the prices get ridiculously high.

Well what can I say - great prices as a member! I like how you can go on either side of the pump no matter what side you have to pump your gas on. The cord stretches - the only extra thing you're willing to do at a gas station, even if you're in stilettos, only because those lines are soooo long!!! - but only because you're just as special as the next person. If something goes wrong, there's a friendly Costco helper. Don't worry, it's worth every penny ;) read more

Costco Gas is the HOTTEST fueling station around. The lines are crazy, but it's worth it because the scene is just the coolest. I have an in with the bouncer, so I always get in, but guys - it never hurts to bring ladies with you. Instead of using a cover charge, Costco Gas makes you pay up front with "membership." I like this better than a cover anyways. Keeps out the riff-raff. The hoses are extra long - way longer than any other station out there. This station is all glam, all the time. So yea, Costco gas is not for everyone. If you pull up in a beat-up 90s Honda without a membership you won't get in. If that's how you roll, there are plenty of dive stations in the area. If you are looking to fill up for a classy night out and have standards for your fueling station, this is def the place to come. read more

Costco Gasoline - Gas Stations Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

This location is near my job and it's consistently the lowest priced gasoline in the area. They open as early as 6am during the work week, which is the best time to go in order to beat the crowds. The afternoons are always busy, so plan accordingly. It's a smaller lot, compared to other Costco gasoline stations, and I am surprised I haven't witnessed an accident yet. My only complaint about the Costco gas stations is their lack of windshield washers and paper towels. But I'm guessing the lack thereof is what helps keep the costs down. read more

As another reviewer put it, there's something relaxing about waiting in a long line for several minutes to buy some of the least expensive gas in town. I usually fuel up here or at the Arizona Ave location. Very early in the mornings is when the line is the shortest, during the evening rush hour is when it is perhaps the worst. A clean and safe gas station, with good Top Tier fuel and a safety attendant on site making sure everything moves smoothly. Get with the times and get in line for some Costco Gasoline! You won't regret it! read more

If you don't like long lines don't feel bad about giving Costco Gas a try. Trust the lines are long for a reason. CHEAP GAS! They tend to have the cheapest gas in town. Another added benefit of being a member. The lines actually go by fast so it is worth the wait. The benefit here is you SAVE! SAVE! SAVE! Gas prices these days best to have some patience so save some money. read more

One of the best things about a Costco membership are the gas prices. This Costco is the one nearest to my place so it's the obvious choice to tank up while i'm here for my monthly costco run. Even otherwise the prices make it worth the drive. Lines are not half as bad as the others although this is a smaller one. I try to go evenings during weekdays in order to beat the rush. Go save some dollars :) Cheers! read more

Costco always has the less expensive gas just paid $2.59 per gallon. The lines maybe long but it is worth it. Tip of the day go to the line where you fill up on the passenger side, it is always shorter. read more

There's something about Costco gas that makes the membership so much more worth it. There's like 10 pumps at this location and they seem to move pretty quickly. I actually enjoy the line, it allows me to relax and listen to a podcast or something. Living down the street from this location also makes life super easy. Friendly staff is there to assist if needed and you don't have to deal with the craziness you usually find at traditional gas stations. read more

Place is always busy and chaotic. I decided to wait in line finally for the lower gas prices. After waiting 15 minutes I get to the pump only to find out that the scanner was broken and I needed to use my physical Costco card, not the app. I didn't see any attendants around so had to leave with an empty tank. Prices are always significantly busy but not worth the stress of the chaos. read more

Costco is awesome, almost so reputedly awesome that it never occurred to me review it....because, duh, it has free samples, $1.50 jumbo hotdogs that come with a soda, cheap gas, great hummus, jumbo size bottles of vodka, pizza slices too big to fit on the plate, tubs of jelly beans and satisfying Lululemon knockoffs. But this location, my home location, is just so friendly and welcoming. When my twins were babies, I used to wear one on my chest and one on my bike as I marched through the store devouring the samples. And, now 5 years later, it is the EXACT SAME adorable ladies passing out the samples. Every week they tell me, "Wow, look how big they are!" (yes, we go every week). And yes, they are big because they have been eating Costco samples their entire life! At the end of our excursion today, I carelessly attempted to move the strawberries from my cart onto the conveyor belt using only one hand -- i should have known better, NOTHING in Costco is meant to be picked up with one hand -- and such, it resulted in many strawberries on the floor. I felt foolish.... until I met Tim. Tim, as it read on his name badge, came to rescue me, scooping up the strawberries and reassuring me that, "it happens all the time." Hmmm, really Tim? Sensing my doubt, he added, "it even even happened to me the other day." And then he scurried back to bring me a new thing of strawberries. Thank you, Tim. Although I still doubt that it happened to you. And thank you Costco, for being a staple in my life and baking the best sheet cake in the world. One day, I will buy that Vitamix! read more

I only purchase gas from Costco. And this Costo location has the cheapest gas prices in the Valley consistantly by 10 cents or more. I live a block away from the Paradise Valley Costo however at least once a week I stop by the 44th & Oak Street location for the lower gas price. read more

I love Costco gas! The lines here were not long, and the pump fills my car quickly. It has something to do with clean filters that are replaced frequently creating a faster flow rate than other stations. And their prices are so cheap, cheaper than any of the other stations in the area. I haven't had the chance to go inside this Costco, we only came here for the cheapo gas, but my other favorite thing about Costco is the free samples. If only we could talk them into giving out some of the free samples while we are pumping our gas. Hmmm... there's an idea. read more

This is probably my favorite coctco. This is exactly what we expect from Costco, however it is generally shown to be less busy. Always ALWAY$ the cheapest gas in the valley that I trust. I check Gas Buddy all the time! I always fill up my little car here but prepare to wait more than 5-10-20 minutes on any given day and time. But while your waiting - Pro Tip: Please have your Costco card and credit/debit card ready BEFORE it's your turn. I hated watching the gas guzzling hummer gym rat dude struggle to find payment in his wallet AT the pump with 4 cars waiting. - he was queued for 10+ minutes before his turn. But if you forget your card just run into the main store and get a temp card and then the attendant will unlock the gassy goodness of Costco for you. I've even seen them pump gas for an elderly lady! read more

Ah yeah... like Costco gas is like the cheapest gas around. Sure they are not open 24 hours, but seriously, you are saving 30 to 40 cents on gas per gallon.
