I really don't have high expectations at gas stations. But the cashier was honestly the rudest man I've ever interested with.

Over recently years, I have found Circle K is my go-to gas station, and this particular location is…read morenear the airport and across the street from where I park when traveling. I would go here to fill up on gas after getting back to town as I head north on 44th Street to head home. They are open 24 hours daily. I have even gone inside for a quick item needed that is in stock at gas stations or even the occasional redeeming of a simple item in stock through one of the many Circle K promotions. While I haven't used most of these, this particular location has gas, an ATM, coffee, froster, roller grill, hot dogs, Easy Pay, Inner Circle, a Gift Card Mall, and Circle K gift cards. They do not have an Amazon drop-off location nor a public restroom. That makes sense as this location has a strong presence of homeless people stopping by or sitting down on the property. Enroll today with Easy Pay (https://www.circlek.com/easy-pay) and save 30 cents off per gallon for the first 100 gallons and 10 cents off per gallon thereafter. You can also join Inner Circle (https://inner-circle.circlek.com) and save 25 cents per gallon on your first 5 fill-ups. You can then get rewarded in many ways with deals and personalized perks. You can save 3 cents per gallon every day, and after spending $500 on fuel, food, and beverages, get upgraded to a Premium Member and save 5 cents per gallon. There are also sweepstakes and other special promotions (which I won a Circle K gift card last year), and I also receive text messages when the Diamondbacks strike out batters at home (for a free item or gas discount). I also receive 25-40% off every now and then, and I am notified with a text. If you get the Upside app, you can also earn back up to 20 cents (or more!) off per gallon of gas and even at restaurants and groceries. Feel free to register at https://upside.app.link/NW7BQ to get an extra 15 cents per gallon back on your first purchase. You can even use this AND the Inner Circle or Easy Pay offers at the same time as long as you register a credit card in advance. Needless to say, I save a lot and get free items regularly from Circle K, and this is a convenient location when I am traveling.

Chevron - RUDE EMPLOYEE of Chevron.

Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Employee Misconduct - Chevron 44th St & McDowell, Phoenix AZ…read more Dear Chevron Human Resources, I am writing to formally report an upsetting and inappropriate interaction I experienced at your Chevron location on 44th Street and McDowell in Phoenix, Arizona, in the early morning hours of October 15th, around 4:00-4:15 AM. I have visited this station several times before and always had positive experiences with a courteous clerk. However, this most recent visit was extremely distressing and left me feeling humiliated and unsafe. While preparing a drink (using several cans of a Boba beverage I intended to pay for), the first cup I used cracked and began leaking. I immediately began cleaning up the spill myself to avoid creating a mess for staff or other customers. I disposed of the damaged cup and empty cans in the nearby trash to stay tidy. Before I could explain what happened or bring my items to the register to pay, a female employee (shorter, heavier-set, white woman) began yelling at me aggressively, accusing me of stealing. Then, a male employee (taller, dark-skinned man) joined in and also shouted at me, claiming I was trying to get away with not paying. I repeatedly tried to explain the situation -- that I was cleaning up and intended to pay for the drinks -- but both employees continued to interrupt me, raise their voices, and ultimately told me to leave and never return. I was shocked and embarrassed. I have never been accused of theft in my life. I also felt unsafe, especially given that this occurred late at night and I was alone. Their tone and approach were completely unprofessional, unnecessarily hostile, and discriminatory in nature. For context, I have worked in the service industry myself for years and fully understand how to communicate respectfully with customers -- even during confusion or mistakes. What I experienced at your store was unacceptable and far below Chevron's standards of professionalism. I am requesting that this incident be formally reviewed, including security footage from approximately 4:00-4:20 AM at that location, and that appropriate disciplinary or retraining measures be taken with both employees. I am happy to provide additional details or connect you with a witness who observed much of the incident outside the store. I am seeking a formal apology and confirmation that Chevron will take steps to ensure no other customer is treated this way. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I hope Chevron addresses this situation promptly and professionally. Sincerely, ( Chelsea Doll ) Doll.chelsea@gmail.com

The cashier tried just ringing 1 bag of chips to see if it would work and it still didn't. Again, with plenty enough money in each of our accounts. The cashier was new and trying to be helpful. He called over the other worker to help. He was rude, nasty, disrespectful, unprofessional. Didn't try to fix the problem was clearly on their end. We had to use the ATM inside of the gas station. The money got withdrawn completely fine beings we had more than enough money to pay. Had to pay the ATM fee. When I expressed that I was upset he told me that I was never allowed back in there ever again. Very unprofessional and clearly just upset that he works at a local gas station overnight and can't do better for him self. I feel sorry for men who hate women and try to degrade them for no reason. I will be contacting corporate.

Enter PreFlight Airport Parking. After reading such great reviews, I had to try it. Paid about $31.50 with a coupon code I found online. This was from a Friday until Sunday night at 9:30. Everything was great until I picked up my car. That was not the best moment. Read on... Pulling up to the property was easy enough. Google maps took me right to the entrance. Pay attention to the signs because there are different levels and you have to remember which floor you reserved. I chose the ground level. The website stated some of the spots are covered, and when I arrived, most were actually covered. I was glad about that! My flight was actually delayed about an hour, so I called to find out if it was okay for me to arrive a bit later than I had reserved. The person on the phone didn't sound like they knew what they were talking about (maybe they were new, idk). I heard them ask someone else my same question. She then came back on and said, yes that's fine, but if you arrive past 3 pm, you have to pay. I asked how much and she asked the other person again. "The same amount you paid when you made the reservation." Uhhh.. okay. I made sure I arrived before 3 pm. Pushed the button at the machine, it spit out a ticket and the arm swung open for me to drive through. I found a spot immediately and locked up my car. Upon my return Sunday night, my flight ended up coming in later. This meant I ended up picking up my ride almost an hour later due to delays BEYOND MY CONTROL. As I drove to the exit, I was anticipating paying a little extra since I did stay a little after my reservation of 9:30 pm. No one was at the booth, I had to scan my ticket at least 2 times before it told me I had to pay $64 and some change!! I was SHOOK to say the least!! WHAT?!?! By that time, close to 10:30 pm, there were 2 or 3 cars behind me also waiting to exit. I was livid, but I swiped my card to pay so that the arm would swing up to let me out. WOW. I was dumbfounded and annoyed af to be honest. What kind of highway robbery is this operation?! They will charge you twice what you paid if you leave past whatever time you said you would arrive, even if it's not your fault!! Like I mentioned earlier, they didn't have anyone to ask anything (at the booths to come in or leave the premises). It's like a trap so whoever falls into it has no choice but to pay whatever amount pops up on the screen. I didn't bother to call because they probably would have given some lame speech about how it's their policy and that's how they operate. I was happy with where my car was parked, though. It was well lit when I arrived at night and the shuttle driver was quick and friendly. My car was in the same condition I left it. Would I use this place again?! Maybe. If I do, I'll make my return time 2 hours after my scheduled arrival to avoid the upcharge hassle. You've been warned!
