So we walk in to buy Powerball tickets because I suffer from the delusion, I might actually win,…read moreand then am some how grateful for winning 4.00 on a 20.00 ticket , but that's my issue. Anyway, we are greeted by employee who looks at us then looks away. Two employees by the lottery counter chatting. We wait, no greeting which apparently is a theme here. Now I want to buy Powerball tickets and redeem my whopping 4.00 winner and add to the crazy and buy some scratchers because apparently according to "my lottery dream house" I have a shot at this. I barely get the words out of my mouth as to which scratchers I want, and he instantaneously tells me they are out. So after choosing back up choices and my apparent power ball winner, I am given the wrong change and no credit for the large winning ticket of 4.00 and no apology. Kind of an effort to help us. Next time the kiosk at Publix.

It's getting tougher to like gas stations as prices continue to rise…read more This is a pretty good gas station that also has mini mart not as fancy as across the street but the prices are usually a few cents cheaper than racetrack. going in and out is usually easy just watch the traffic on Pineridge road. The one thing that I really like here is the extended handled windshield washers it makes it easier to clean the glass on bigger trucks and cars without running all around. And if you want they also have an automatic car wash just pay at the pump or go in to the counter.

The convenience store gets an A+ The gas station gets a C-…read more If the gas station on the corner had an entrance on Pine Ridge or an easier one to get into from Whipperwhil then I'd get my gas there and make a separate stop for the Circle K store. I'm being totally serious about that & it's sorta said bc it'd only take a bit of paint or a decent sized sticker to fix the issue & make this review entirely glowing. I rarely write reviews but when I do I try to cover everything to be fair. If u just want to know why I'm so irritated by the gas station itself then skip to last few paragraphs. The store is huge compared to other convenience stores & actually convenient :) There's a wide array of products types & good amt of variety to select from. Notably the hot drinks section which actually has fresh, good coffee, the soft drink machine that's the longest I've seen & fresh grab-to-go food. There's a good mix of fun stuff & useful impulse items. Most importantly the clerks are really friendly (even when the customers are not), they're also attentive, efficient and make a real effort to make transactions go quickly. The store is really clean & more importantly so is the bathroom! There's also ample parking. I rarely bother to write reviews but will for this store on yelp bc it deserves it. Put simply I'd drive out of my way to go there for gas BECAUSE I want to go in the store. My only gripe is with the gas pumps. There are plentiful, easy to access, the hoses r long & the gas pumps quickly so this should've been a completely positive review BUT I'm seriously upset with the layout of the pumps bc I feel it's deliberately misleading. The order of the pumps is reversed from the norm of low to high (regular to premium) so if ur not paying attention and realistically most of us don't then u put the high priced premium in without realizing it bc on auto-pilot ur gonna reach for the 1st pump. I only noticed that when I started using the Gas Buddy app and reporting prices. I realize I should've been paying more attention at the pump & to my credit car bill but I wasn't & I do feel like Shell was banking on that predictable type of behavior. As I was writing this it occurred to me that it's potentially an actual problem for the people who actually want the premium gases if it's true that their cars require it & the lower quality gas their engine. It's possible I'm completely wrong about there being a standard order for gas pumps but that wouldn't be an issue if you didn't practically need a magnifying glass to figure our which pump was what - note I have perfect vision & still had trouble locating that important info and when I finally did it was pretty small print.

The gas station was clean, prices were good and the inside had the usual convenience store items. Service was friendly and professional, as well. I went inside to talk to the attendant, she was rude, not very bright and told me that there were no refunds on carwashes, yet there was no signage advising patrons of this policy. I asked her to show me the policy in writing. Nothing, she played dumb, told me that she wasn't there yesterday(??), that nobody has complained of it not working and then told me there are no refunds on "free" car washes. Explained to her that my wash wasn't free, that I paid $7 for it. Then she proceeded to tell me she could give me a free wash code, for a car wash that wasn't working. Stupidly, I tried again, and shocker, it didn't work. I realize it's only $7 but it's the principle of it and the fact that the car wash was half of what my gas charge was. Again, I will never return to the gas station, they are shady and a rip off!!!! I'll spend my money elsewhere!
