I barely get the words out of my mouth as to which scratchers I want, and he instantaneously tells me they are out. So after choosing back up choices and my apparent power ball winner, I am given the wrong change and no credit for the large winning ticket of 4.00 and no apology. Kind of an effort to help us. It's getting tougher to like gas stations as prices continue to rise…read more This is a pretty good gas station that also has mini mart not as fancy as across the street but the prices are usually a few cents cheaper than racetrack. going in and out is usually easy just watch the traffic on Pineridge road. The one thing that I really like here is the extended handled windshield washers it makes it easier to clean the glass on bigger trucks and cars without running all around. And if you want they also have an automatic car wash just pay at the pump or go in to the counter.

I rarely write reviews but when I do I try to cover everything to be fair. If u just want to know why I'm so irritated by the gas station itself then skip to last few paragraphs. The store is huge compared to other convenience stores & actually convenient :) There's a wide array of products types & good amt of variety to select from. Notably the hot drinks section which actually has fresh, good coffee, the soft drink machine that's the longest I've seen & fresh grab-to-go food. There's a good mix of fun stuff & useful impulse items. Most importantly the clerks are really friendly (even when the customers are not), they're also attentive, efficient and make a real effort to make transactions go quickly. I realize I should've been paying more attention at the pump & to my credit car bill but I wasn't & I do feel like Shell was banking on that predictable type of behavior. There are 4 pumps here but they are so close together it is a challenge for any cars to get in and get gas. Today the challenge was even harder because one of the pumps was broken. So there were several cars trying to position themselves to get gas. It was a nightmare. While I was waiting, I had to move because a giant delivery truck needed to get by me to get to the front door. How terrible would it be if they ran out of nacho cheese or dare I say, Slurpees!" The guy in front of my was trying to stretch the gas hose because he was afraid to turn his car around to get closer to the pump. Again his body language showed me that he feared taking that chance of losing his spot at the pump. How can a gas station two blocks from the Gulf of Mexico be this stressful? Why couldn't they have laid out the pumps better? Would a slurpee make it all better? These were just a few questions that ran through my head. Today after a month I went back to the same place where I saw a $3.50 deal for a stuffed pizza and a Big Gulp with rewards and when I went to pay the same worker didn't honor the deal again and wanted to charge me more than $6. I'm an Uber Driver and I spend the whole day working and to get something to eat I always go to all the 7 elevens looking for their meal deals because I can't eat at restaurants every day depending on where I am and all the others I've been to have honored the promotion but this is the only one where I've had the same problem on two different occasions in one month.
