SERENITY NOW! This…read moreis the hardest place to get gas ever. I always make the mistake of pulling in here and then I realize two minutes later that I'm in hell. There are 4 pumps here but they are so close together it is a challenge for any cars to get in and get gas. Today the challenge was even harder because one of the pumps was broken. So there were several cars trying to position themselves to get gas. It was a nightmare. While I was waiting, I had to move because a giant delivery truck needed to get by me to get to the front door. How terrible would it be if they ran out of nacho cheese or dare I say, Slurpees!" It would be a national tragedy! So I moved hoping another car wouldn't try to take advantage of me and slip in behind. I really don't want road rage in a 7-11 gas station. Some lady in a SUV blew by everyone to the broken pump. She thought she was so slick. Then she realized it was broken. I could hear her yelling at the pump. I think she was displaying pump rage. The guy in front of my was trying to stretch the gas hose because he was afraid to turn his car around to get closer to the pump. Again his body language showed me that he feared taking that chance of losing his spot at the pump. How can a gas station two blocks from the Gulf of Mexico be this stressful? Why couldn't they have laid out the pumps better? Would a slurpee make it all better? These were just a few questions that ran through my head. So if you need gas and you come here be prepared for a little stress. Try picturing a palm tree blowing in the breeze. Let the peaceful gulf shore waves ripple in your mind. But don't go too far into la la land because you need gas and someone is gonna take your spot. Be alert!!!

I waited twelve minutes once for someone to figure out how to give me a receipt but I didn't receive one. My 7-11 Rewards card can't be scanned at the pump either because the scanners don't work. The food assortment is very poor and when I called the corporate 7-11 office, they took my statement and gave me a case number but never responded to me. After three weeks, I called back and the customer service person said it was closed. No sooner then he said that, I get an email confirmation it was closed so they really don't care about customers or service anymore.
