The place was filled with people and the place was loud , huh ? What'd you say , lol. I showed him around pointing out all of the little food venues where you could grab a Taco or snack. We viewed all of the produce and various products for sale in the stores and food stands within the grand venue where food is sold from Seed ( farm ) to Table. There is a huge Wine section where wine from all over the world is for sale. There is a Bakery , Candy , grocery store. You name it , this place has it. My friend was impressed at the size of the place and that there are restaurants, stores , and even a Stage where a Band plays music on weekends and is open until 2:00 a. m. After a walk around tour of the place we went to the second floor restaurant section to grab some dinner. We both ordered the Smash Burger with fries. We were both sated when we left the premises. The Smash Burger is HUGE ! But wait , the boyz in the Band were just showing up, getting ready to take the stage and play some music. People downstairs were already dancing in the aile to the music blaring from surrounding speakers. Nevertheless, it was time for us to go ... getting dark soon. The prepared salads are a bit pricey but are fresh and provide a meal. Today, April 5, 2026, Easter, I looked on my phone to make sure the store was open. I planned on getting a prepared meal and a sandwich. I noticed the comment that "Easter may affect our hours". Does that mean they will open later and/or close early? I continued the search on my phone and found that they were open, so I drove 4-5 miles (each way) out of my way only to find at about noon that they were closed. So, why didn't the message just say "Closed Easter Day"? Three words! This is the kind of ignorance and stupidity that is inexcusable and does a lot of damage to customer relations. Unfortunately, after almost 4 months of not seeing my favorite attendant at that counter, I inquired and was informed by a male worker he had since left. I get to the 10 or less check out lane, only to see the woman that is supposed to be looking at the self service area chatting away with the cashier from the 10 or less lane. I actually had to ask, are you open. Then, I ask this lady how much longer before the other Publix is finished, only to hear a 10 minute whine session on how miserable she is to be working at this Publix because she worked at the other one for 13 years.
