Lovely floral and holiday decor, great cheese and grab-to-go options. Competitive prices overall and deals. Shelves are well stocked and the staff is extremely helpful. I had trouble finding a particular soup and a member helped me locate it with ease. All the staff is super nice, keep up the good work!

First, the customer service is lacking. Most of the time, associates don't acknowledge me at all when I walk up. I usually end up standing there for about five minutes before anyone even says anything, and then it takes additional time for them to get ready to make the sandwich. It just doesn't feel welcoming. The process itself is also all over the place. Sometimes associates ask what I'd like, other times I have to jump in and tell them. I recently found out sandwiches can be toasted--no one had ever mentioned that before. Some associates spread condiments, others don't. There's no standard, which makes the experience confusing every time I visit. Another issue is that no one wears a name badge, so there's no way to recognize or thank someone who does a good job--or even know who helped you. Pricing is probably the most frustrating part. The sign clearly says there's a $5.99 meal deal that includes chips and a drink, and that the sandwich alone is $4.99. However, every time I order, I'm either charged $5.99 just for the sandwich or $4.99 plus extra for chips and a drink. It never rings up the same way twice, and no one explains why. It feels misleading and confusing. Overall, the experience feels disorganized. Between the lack of acknowledgment, inconsistent preparation, missing name tags, and unclear pricing, it just doesn't feel like a welcoming or well-managed environment. I'd really like to keep coming here regularly, but something needs to change.

This Publix is a little smaller than some other stores, but the selection is decent. I wish this store had a larger fresh produce selection, but I realize many of the Publix stores cater to the huge population of condo owners in the area, who generally have less than twenty items in their cart. Sometimes, while waiting in line at a Publix, customers behind me can get a bit impatient since I usually shop for the week or longer. This means meals, treats for the dogs and cats, plus plenty of water and cokes for the thirsty guys who do home repairs and improvements on a regular basis. Twenty items or less, fine, a full cart, you've been warned. Going to a grocery store isn't the most fun thing to do, still, Publix stores manage to make the experience as pleasant as possible by offering variety and having well stocked shelves. Parking isn't the best at this store, but it's doable. One thing that comes to mind, are the good subs at Publix. You're getting fresh bread, quality deli meats, cheeses and fresh veggies for your sub. The employees will make the sub to your specific preferences and these subs are not only a great value, but a healthy alternative to a fried lunch. This is a convenient store to shop, especially if you only need to run in for a few quick items. This Publix is located on two major streets, so very easy to find.

On a recent shopping day, I decided to shop at Winn-Dixie. The store is in a convenient location,…read moreright off Collier and parking is good. The store is clean and has a layout that's easy to find things. I was a little disappointed with some of the produce, the Bok Choy was still good, although not as crisp as it should have been, Likewise for the salad section, although the tomatoes and oranges looked fresh. The seafood department has a varied selection and so does the meat department. The salmon I bought looked fresh and was priced well. One of the things I liked are the BOGO specials like Publix has, plus they have the Fresh Pet section and my dogs appreciate that. Service is good, and the lady who checked out my order was friendly and helpful. Winn-Dixie has a good selection of products and they are customer friendly.

If you want to know why Winn-Dixie is suffering, visit the store on Collier Boulevard…read more You will find they are frequently out of basic staples. Good luck getting any help. And when you go to the checkout, it will be hit or miss whether you get somebody who is friendly. Today, a woman named C**** seemed actually annoyed I was inconveniencing her by using her checkout line at a time when the grocery store was nearly empty. I had placed all my items on the conveyor belt, and she was next door with one of the other clerks. I asked the other clerk if somebody was going to come to this register and she shuffled over. All in all rather unpleasant experience for something as simple as groceries. So much for "service with a smile."
