This Publix just continues to go down in the level of service that is provided. Where are the managers. I finally get there at 4:15 after fighting seasonal traffic. The girl at the dely tells me all the roasted chickens are gone, the next batch won't be ready for 1.5 Since the other Publix on US 41 is under construction why not have two of the chicken rotisseries working? Such an easy fix right, but no I guess no one here can think and address this issue, since this Publix is now doing the work of both Publix's. I get to the 10 or less check out lane, only to see the woman that is supposed to be looking at the self service area chatting away with the cashier from the 10 or less lane. I actually had to ask, are you open. Then, I ask this lady how much longer before the other Publix is finished, only to hear a 10 minute whine session on how miserable she is to be working at this Publix because she worked at the other one for 13 years. Publix came through with what I needed. I found the store to be well laid out with signage that I didn't really need to rely upon. The prices were as expected, I didn't think anything was ridiculously expensive, I found everything to be relatively reasonable. My interactions with the employees was minimal and was fine. The location is convenient to where I was and where I was going. They have a selection that fit my needs and I will be back. read more

What an awful experience! The manager questioned my two for one and I had to walk him back and show him the sign! I was at the self serve register and when I was walking out a guy stopped me and said I didn't ring up my sweet onions. I handed him the receipt and they were on it! Then it was supposed to take two dollars off your bill (I did put in our number) but it didn't take of the $2 (when you spend $10). My bill was over $80 but I didn't realize it didn't take it off till I arrived home! I hate this Publix location! It is just a bad experience all around! read more

A really good location that has everything you might be looking for. It was very clean and we organized too. We were looking for beer and the staff member helped us tremendously, going to the back to get our beer of choice. Checkout was friendly and quick! Lots of parking here as well. read more

Have been orderng from Publiox for about a year using Instacart for delivery. Recent delivery had a problem.Tried to email Instacart Support. Auto reply said "Not monitored", and tried to get you to have a chat or phone conversation. In past these have been very unsatisfactory, e.g. poor phone connections, language barriers and foreign accents hard to understand. Instacart should definitely re-open it's "email" customer service! read more

Bottom Line: This is what I'll dub a "Heritage Publix" as it was here when I first moved to Naples in 1983. The reason I'm reviewing it is because I checked in while there earlier this year and rather than cancelling out the review request, I thought it would certainly merit a write-up, ESPECIALLY given that SWF now has it's own Yelp Community Ambassador! Anyway, - This particular Publix previously had a strong "ole-school" (read 'circa 1970s') appeal. The recent renovations went to great lengths to modernize this store, installing ALL the modern Publix amenities (customer service island, wine racks, etc.) it's in the strip mall that Golden Gate Parkway T-bones into. During rain season, expect the lot to be flooded. I've claimed Naples as my primary residence from 1983 through 2002 (albeit with a 3-year stint in Seattle from 96-98 and with both undergrad and grad @ FSU prior to that) and therefore also claim to know this Publix intimately. I've watched it grow from the humble Publix that it was to the burgeoning Publix that it is today. (here's my moment for tangential information: My FIRST job in the U.S. (we lived abroad from 1969-1982) was at the Publix at the corner of the East Trail and Kelly Road (oh, sure, you all know Kelly Road as the uppity-named "Bayshore Drive" - but I assure you, once Kelly Road, always Kelly Road) and there I worked in the produce department for ONE day (6AM to 2PM) effectively bundling bananas. All I knew at the end of that shift was that I wasn't coming back to Publix for a 2nd day bundling bananas.)) Back to this review - this Publix, as you would expect, has a decent "International Aisle" which, contrary to Publix's across the 'more authentic' parts of Florida, reflects a decent percentage of German and UK foodstuffs. Additionally, this Publix has to content with Wynn's, just down the street. I'll just say this: Wynn's has AWESOME chopped liver - chopped liver they produce on location. This Publix? - no chopped liver. No chopped liver they produce on location. Anyway - if you happen to be at the point where The Parkway T-Bones into 41, just go ahead and pop into Publix. p.s., I just glanced over at "Jack Ss" review of this location. Great Publix store, recently remodeled. Been coming to this location since I was born. Wonderful employees. Sale prices are great, lots of Bogos. Nice produce department. Bakery is awesome, free cookies for kids, so my son can't wait to go to Publix. Lots of food during Irma, a life saver. Busy and crowded, especially the parking lot, but always enough lanes open. Good store. Clean and the workers are very friendly and helpful. But the poor things are so understaffed. There was a line of 10 people at customer service and one person working. The deli had customers protesting, complaining and waiting for over 30 min. This is my go to store except on peak hours. Monique, a pharmacy clerk caused me undue pain and suffering. First she stated loudly"you have no insurance" as if I had the plague. She then proceeded to make me walk back and forth from chair to counter. And if that wasn't bad enough, she had me stand for approximately 10 minutes because of a very ignorant mistake. She kept inputing the date as 3-30-21. When I asked her if the reason I had to stand there was because she input the date incorrectly, she very obnoxiously replied she had. This would all have been tolerable if I hadn't had a hip injury, but I did indeed have a terrible bout of bursitis which made any walking agony. No, I don't expect you to even consider my medical condition, but you must realize that many of your customers at this location (store 1957) are older and would be well served by kind and compassionate pharmacy personnel. Please relocate this very inept person to a department which does not require her to interact with the public. Her lack of compassion and attitude has no business in a pharmacy department where the majority of clients are older. read more

Recently stopped into this new and improved location of Publix, which is residing over the previous(now bulldozed) circa-1962 version which was rather cramped, old and smelly. This new store is beautiful and inviting, with a spacious produce department, bakery and hot and cold buffet bars to enjoy. Upon first entering one is enticed with a Starbucks'inspired café that offers gelato, sorbets and hot and iced drinks. I almost couldn't help but notice the suspicious Whole Foods aura here, with the layout and general feel very similar but without the jaw-dropping prices. In the usual Publix fashion, I observed many portly suit-and-tie manager guys strolling around looking important and plenty of pleasant employees willing to help navigate me around the aisles. Watch out for the sample addicts that have no problem pushing their way past just to get the last morsel, and beware driving around the parking lot as it can be very hazardous with careless drivers! read more

Seemingly a great store but getting stuff from the fish department was a bit of a turn off. The supposedly 'fresh' catch of the day smelled with a strong fish smell the next day when we were about to cook it -- thus we needed to return it which was easy to do but that is not the point. Then there were the clams -- not that we wanted to buy any but a lot of them on the ice were opened on display. An open clam is a dead clam and for that reason alone it is hard to get that image out of my mind whenever I think of making a run to this location for other things. read more

I'm pretty sure I am reviewing the right Publix. But if not, oh well. Seriously though this place rocks my world. Probably for a really dumb reason. But after a shopping trip here to load up on goodies for a girls weekend (ie- lots of wine) the woman at the checkout took my ID, scrutinized it, and asked "How old are you?" to which I replied "29." And she said "Well, keep doing whatever you're doing!" Now I guess I should chalk this up to the higher-than-normal ratio of people over the age of 80 to people in their 20s/30s, but I'll take a compliment where I can get one (and I'm pretty sure I got the same reaction when I was there 4 years ago). It is also all in all a nice grocery store. Huge bottles of wine don't hurt their cause. read more

Don't get me wrong people are nice and everything, but I wasn't too excited how one of the employees made my sub sandwich--it was still good but it wasn't the same. Either way, I'll still go back again--I might ask for a sub. People are polite and helpful. read more

As a pure grocery store it is nice and the employees are friendly and helpful. The problem is the deli. It's a patience tester to be sure. Very slow employees and never enough help to wait on the customers. My strategy is to let my wife do the shopping while I wait and wait and wait at the counter. read more

I've been to this Publix at 945am, 945pm and every time in between. Some other reviewer complained they have the worst parking lot known to man. Someone else complained that fresh fish smelled like FISH! If you're not full of yourself and looking for things to complain about, you'll like this store. They have great selection, ample employees who seem to like working there and like helping customers! Now, you'll see plenty of the Pelican Bay Boulevard people in their overpriced luxury cars (those most likely to complain about a 50c price discrepancy. You know, the ones who nearly run you over and never say excuse me or thank you to us commoners). There's a lot of us normal people who want to buy quality and enjoy variety. Yes folks. It's Naples. It probably is a little more expensive than a Publix in other areas, but it is worth it. I see these zero star reviews and just know they have a big Benz or a Land Rover. No offense, but I'm happy loading my groceries into my Chevy Suburban. read more

This is the worst Publix in Naples. It took 20 minutes to make a sandwich and another 20 minutes to check out. They only had 3 cashiers open when the lines were half way down the store. You will have better luck checking out at dollar tree. read more
