The place was filled with people and the place was loud , huh ? What'd you say , lol. I showed him around pointing out all of the little food venues where you could grab a Taco or snack. We viewed all of the produce and various products for sale in the stores and food stands within the grand venue where food is sold from Seed ( farm ) to Table. There is a huge Wine section where wine from all over the world is for sale. There is a Bakery , Candy , grocery store. You name it , this place has it. My friend was impressed at the size of the place and that there are restaurants, stores , and even a Stage where a Band plays music on weekends and is open until 2:00 a. m. After a walk around tour of the place we went to the second floor restaurant section to grab some dinner. We both ordered the Smash Burger with fries. We were both sated when we left the premises. The Smash Burger is HUGE ! But wait , the boyz in the Band were just showing up, getting ready to take the stage and play some music. People downstairs were already dancing in the aile to the music blaring from surrounding speakers. Nevertheless, it was time for us to go ... getting dark soon. Staff is very nice and speak English well enough to handle your questions This grocery store or I should say Variety store with Asian products, has all the things you need for Chinese cooking too. Other stores may tend toward Korean or Vietnamese goods, I sense this is more Chinese with lots of herbs and instant noodles. I continued the search on my phone and found that they were open, so I drove 4-5 miles (each way) out of my way only to find at about noon that they were closed. So, why didn't the message just say "Closed Easter Day"? Three words! This is the kind of ignorance and stupidity that is inexcusable and does a lot of damage to customer relations. There was a man named "Frankie"? who was always enthusiastically taking care of us. Unfortunately, after almost 4 months of not seeing my favorite attendant at that counter, I inquired and was informed by a male worker he had since left. I usually end up standing there for about five minutes before anyone even says anything, and then it takes additional time for them to get ready to make the sandwich. It just doesn't feel welcoming. The process itself is also all over the place. Sometimes associates ask what I'd like, other times I have to jump in and tell them. I recently found out sandwiches can be toasted--no one had ever mentioned that before. Some associates spread condiments, others don't. There's no standard, which makes the experience confusing every time I visit. Another issue is that no one wears a name badge, so there's no way to recognize or thank someone who does a good job--or even know who helped you. Pricing is probably the most frustrating part. The sign clearly says there's a $5.99 meal deal that includes chips and a drink, and that the sandwich alone is $4.99. However, every time I order, I'm either charged $5.99 just for the sandwich or $4.99 plus extra for chips and a drink. It never rings up the same way twice, and no one explains why. It feels misleading and confusing. Overall, the experience feels disorganized. Between the lack of acknowledgment, inconsistent preparation, missing name tags, and unclear pricing, it just doesn't feel like a welcoming or well-managed environment. I'd really like to keep coming here regularly, but something needs to change.
