Upon arriving at the store, I was informed by staff that there was one massage chair available, new and still in its original packaging. However, as I proceeded with the purchase, I encountered significant challenges in my interactions with members of management, specifically Paul, the night manager, and Seth. Throughout the process, I found the communication from both individuals to be unprofessional and lacking in customer-focused service. My questions and concerns were not addressed in a constructive manner, and I was left with the impression that my efforts to complete the purchase were viewed as an inconvenience. In particular, Seth appeared unwilling to assist in resolving the matter and indicated that he would not be handling the situation further. What was especially concerning was the inconsistency in the information I received. Initially, I was informed that the chair could not be sold because there was no available inventory. However, after I requested Costco Corporate's contact information, I was subsequently told that the display model could be sold. This contradiction created confusion and frustration and raised concerns about the accuracy and transparency of the information provided. As a long-time Costco member who spends a substantial amount at Costco each month, I expect to be treated with professionalism, respect, and honesty. Unfortunately, I left the store feeling dismissed and undervalued. While I cannot speak to the intentions of those involved, the interaction left me with the impression that I may have been treated differently because of my appearance and skin color. Favorite store in the world . I go a few times a week . You know you're living when you get your food and clothes at the same place . If you know - you know They always have something I need or can use . Bulk save me money and I can meal prep very easily . Easy in and easy out- I don't like the self check outs... I've never been given and I serve lol and sometimes they aren't the best at catching the bar codes - first world problems huh . Clean and organized. Just not much variety in some items. Even compared to smaller Costco locations. Then the food court set up seems inconvenient. It's located right outside on one side of the entrance/exit but the condiments and tables were at the other side of the entrance/exit. This particular Costco is set up like most and follows the typical layouts you will find in a clockwise direction. It is one of the large ones and has lots of stock. No unique local items per se, but beyond that its as expected. The staff is the typical friendly and on point. Bathrooms are spotless as well which is one of the reasons I ventured in Aside from that as always we have rules we follow The RULES! 1) NEVER EVER go in hungry. That 25 gallons of dill pickle chips is much easier to resist on a full stomach.... true story there. 2) Avoid the free samples. People seem to lose their minds with this stuff. They abandon carts with crying babies, block isles, etc all to get that tiny portion of hummus. I have been shoved aside by someone desperate to get a free piece of cheese. Honestly I have seen more dignity from actual starving people in a disaster zone but I digress. 3) Avoid the weekends like the plague. 4) See #1 5) Go often. Costco uses alot of psychology and the fear of missing out is one of them. Odd items you must have pop up then go never to return. I CAN'T MISS OUT AGGGGGGG 6) Know your codes: At costco any price ending in 0.97 means it has been marked down. Any price that is not a 0.99 or .97 such as say 0.49 means it has a manufacturers discount. and price with an * aka "The Death Star" on it means its done and will not be reordered so stock up. If it ends in a .00 or a 0.88 a manager has reduced the price at that location to clear it out. 7) When in an unfamiliar city head to the Costco. They always stock local items you can't find at yours (like two pounds of single origin Kona coffee for 30.00 at the Kilaua / Kona store etc.) and have cheap gas. (Same on Kauai) read more

this is my local costco and i am glad we have this nearby. Gas station- gas station used to only have 2 pumps in each row which resulted to a long wait on peak hours. It was then upgraded to 3 pumps and I cant remember when was the last time i had to wait more than 5 mins. Tire shop- same issue with other locations, no one picks up when you call. online scheduling is not that helpful either. minus half a star for this. Optical- very efficient staff, i have ordered here my prescription twice and both came right on time. One of my glasses had a scratch and they took it back and fixed it. Food court - this was renovated recently which reduced wait time but there are still instances where you would probably have to wait 5-10 mins. selection of products- not as great as vallejo location but I would still prefer this over vallejo. You would probably find what you need here. parking lot- very spacious lot wherein you can get a spot instantly. The spaces in between spaces are also a little wider than other places ive been to. When you are at the exit checking for the receipt, You don't just leave the scene because it is your breaktime or because you need to go to the food court or bathroom, without your replacement leaving a long line on the right side of the exit! Me and my husband went to the optical department to get an eye exam. The optometrist Dr Nguyen was kind of shady. We noticed she charged us $110 each for the exam, but wen leaving we saw the sign says $80 all included. I stopped in here at this Fairfield location of Costco for just one thing. I saw advertised on sale this big box of frozen orange chicken that all you do is heat up in the oven and add the included sauce. Th sale price look good. Regularly about $15.50 per box which is sort of on the high side to me. But the sale price is reduced to just $10.79 a box, so that sounds more reasonable. The product is in the freezer section. Usually, going into Costco for just one item is not worth the hassle of parking and waiting in line, but with the self checkout, I didn't have to wait at all. I can for sure recommend this orange chicken. It's all white meat which is better than most Chinese restaurants that will use dark meat. I know, Asian people mostly like dark chicken meat better than the dry white meat, but the meat on these chicken pieces was not dry at all! The sauce was decent and had a nice vinegar zip to it. So get this orange chicken at Costco, I think the sale goes till Aug. 27th. read more

I've been to the Fairfield and Vacaville locations several times in the past 3-6 months and have noticed that a few of my favorites are no longer in the store. The Kirkland brand chocolate covered raisins are nowhere to be found, the Food Saver machine is there but they do not have the Food Saver brand bags and the Schwartz Brothers Garlic and Herb Bagel Chips have been replaced with the Everything Bagel ones. Really Costco!!?? My Daughter said it was slightly frozen when she bought it, this morning. In past purchases, like bagels and breads, they have molded way too early. This is the worst Costco.
