Amazing! Enough said. If you don't have a membership you are missing out. We are only a family of 3 but still do all our shopping here. It's a myth that you need to be a big family to buy here. There are so many different things that can be purchased here that this is always my go-to place when I need to grab something for our home. This rating is only for Emily, who apparently was already "stressed out" w/the store only being open for 5 mins. Called 3X, got disconnected, then hung up on, finally get through to ask about a particular item, since website often differs from store. Say "Good Morning ! " & get no reply, ask about a particular item (garden) & get "don't even know what that is" so I quickly explain only to get "NO!" so I start to say "OK, thaaaank..." & I get hung up on in my ear: charming. Usually people are nice when I've been there in person, but this is customer srvc? Not someone I'd want representing my business.. I do prefer this Costco vs WH, however would love to see them get/keep more organic & healthy items. Every time something good comes in, it's gone in a month. We live quite a distance & makes it frustrating. Lots of items are cheaper, but you have to look closely @ ingredients. read more

Love the store and prices, just think the parking area should be bigger. Not that they can help it but weekends are a nightmare there!!

The entire concept of the Costco experience is baffling to me. We pay money to be members for the privilege of shopping in their business. Then we buy bulk quantity of items of which they only provide us limited selection. We literally feel like we are fighting a battle if we go on the weekends and have to mentally prepare for that. The whole situation is stressful and often doesn't make sense. And yet, we do it. For what? For the free samples of coarse. The very reason why you would want to be a member. And so I give this review 4 stars on the basis of free samples that taste so good that I often end up suckered into buying so giant bag or box of a food product I wouldn't have otherwise. Like Costco overall, but we only go once per month. Do not have them refill your printer ink cartridges. I had them do two of mine & one for my wife. All 3 were not refilled properly & never worked correctly. Usually go to Cartridge World who know what they are doing. Costco would do nothing because I didn't waste the money I saved in gas to go back right away. They are not experts in this so don't bother having them try to refill your printer ink. read more

This store is great and folks who work there are helpful and friendly. But I am NOT enjoying Costco's switch to Citi Visa. If is lot reached a live person this morning, after navigating through touchtone hell. I had tried last week but didn't have the patience. Amex is ranked the second best is customer satisfaction, Citi Visa? Ranked second worst. I hope this isn't a harbinger of where Costco is headed. read more

Sad to say I come here just to get a gallon of milk and eggs i love it so much. Most recenty i started to purchase clothes here. There is not a room in my house that doesnt have an item purchased from here. someone made a comment about the hotdogs? I love them too. It is becoming a sick addiction. Damn you Costcos! Maybe I am spoiled by bjs and sams club, but when I was in enfield and had a list intended for bjs, I went there with a friend and was able to get nothing. Most things were over priced. Sorry maybe it's just me. read more

COSTCO IS THE SHIT! This particular Costco is nice, everyone is very helpful. What they don't have in massive stock, they make up for with good sized parking areas, cheap gas and a great bunch of garage guys who probably saved our lives when they reported a problem with our undercarriage during a routine tire change. We are members of BJs - and I've reported they're OK/meh - 4 star at best. I've reported re: Sams which absolutely tops my "7 Rings of Hell" list being such a depressing and ghastly fruit fly infested hole selling sub par Walmart junk, which is also on my list of hellish shopping places. On the joys of Costco: 1. THIS IS A (downside) FACT: everyone ends up spending way too much money at Costco but this is rarely regrettable unless it's important money and the item is flashy but totally unnecessary. But Costco addicts (nuts) know what one is compelled to buy at the big C is always superduper super and a thing that should be had or needs to be but one didn't know until now (and now you do and once had you'll have to have pried from your cold dead hands before you give it up!) 2. TOP QUALITY (even if you didn't know it existed before you laid eyes on it - it is the best!) 3. Returnable forever regardless of condition. (Except certain electronics but I'm not sure about the particulars) We bought a Kirkland washer/dryer combo years ago at costco online. Had a problem, needed repairs. I called because I was aggravated with Whirlpool because I always get an extended warranty and Whirlpool didn't offer it to us. Costco told us to return the pair - meaning they'd come and remove the machines from the house and give us full credit. Who does that???? 4. Shopping Costco is like going on a treasure hunt when walk through the doors - you never know what you'll find or whether it will be there the next time you visit (which takes you back to number 1 - requiring you to spend more than you figured on). One of my favorite things to do is to shop at a fresh new never been there Costco and see what they've got. There's always a surprise - like the one in Waterbury carries canned tuna fish imported from Italy and packed in olive oil. It ain't cheap but it's the best of the best. In states where you can buy wine in supermarkets, you get GREAT deals on liquor and wine (but not in the store next to it in Enfield which is not a Costco store...they're not as discounty as even my guy in Manchester and the stock is meh.) The snack bar is totally the same as all the others, mega predictable but don't poo poo it. This one is clean and there's a lot of seating but never enough on the weekends at lunch time. Still, nothing quite so nice as a giant really good hotdog w soda for a buck and a half after you've just nearly fainted after spending over 400 dollars you weren't expecting to spend but couldn't pass on that sale priced Samsung, etc. read more

Review for Optometrist Dr Kyung H. Hong O.D. Terrible experience. Had exam. He said I had an astigmatism. Gave script for distance, reading, and astigmatism. Ordered glasses. Wore them for 1 week and something was wrong so went back for re-exam. He admitted it was wrong and there was no astigmatism and distance script was wrong. Ordered new glasses and I could see better distance without them. Asked for my money back and he refused. He said eyes change day to day. What a load of .... Dont waste your money or your time. The optical department was great helping me with picking out frames, fitting of frames and returns of the actual glasses. Tami is excellent. Just dont get an exam there. read more

Took our daughter, who lives in New York State. She loved the deals... Busy operations and crowded. (We like our Hawaii Kai store better.)

The Optical Department is a particular standout here. They are beyond helpful and clearly very knowledgable about glasses/contacts. I get the impression that they care more about the customer finding the right product than selling "something" to that person. In general, this is one of the busiest Costcos that I've visited - they actually have parking lines on the grass! Expect long lines that don't move very efficiently. read more

The Enfield store is my favorite. It's easy to get in and out, find parking, and the staff is friendly and always helpful.

We love going to Costco! We usually find great deals on groceries. The store is ALWAYS clean, even when they're super busy. Even though sometimes there could be a lot of people in line waiting to check out, they manage to Plow through the lines pretty quickly. I don't usually ever wait more than 5 minutes to check out. The staff are pretty friendly and helpful when you need something. After all these years I still find great values and I still enjoy shopping there. read more

Have been a member since the store was built. Use just about all their services they have to offer. Really like buying online. My only complaint is that they change items to much. One month it's there the next it's not. I like the garlic pepper. They don't carry it anymore. I was getting it from Sam's but they don't have it anymore. read more

went to enfield ct store. no rhyme or reason for holding people outside for this virus bull. they have no standard to let you know how it is done. just wait and see and that is all. no idea of how long, no 5 out and 5 in or anything like that. wait because we know you will because you want to get into costco. subjective and not away to run any kind of business whether there is virus or not. could be more professional and Dan at the store needs to understand the importance of customers. read more

Went there on a Saturday afternoon and yes it was crowded but wasn't really that bad. Parking lot was like any other Costco and had a lot of traffic but wasn't to much to manage. Got in and out in the normal amount of time and it was really a good experience. read more

This is the best Costco around. The staff is always nice. The store is always well stocked & clean. I have never had an issue with returns.

The great thing about COSTCO, especially the Enfield, CT, one is their return policy. There is none...or almost none! Just bring the item, give them the reason why you want to return it, and that's it. You get the refund or a replacement. I had an even greater experience today. I went to Enfield Costco and bought-among other things- a package of Hummus small containers. When I arrived home, I could not find it. I called Costco and explained what happened. They asked me to go back and bring the receipt with me. I did that, and within minutes, I had another one for free as a replacement. They took my word for it without any questions!...it is a small item, but this is significant. They respect and believe their customer and to me this means a lot. read more
