Their hours are pretty great for a small town, and the store is small but has all of the basics. It's been wonderful being able to just run down the street at a moment's notice for an ingedient or two, or paper towels, or anything- I've never had that sort of convenience anywhere I've lived before! You can always get a parking spot right next to the door, they don't move everything around every 6 months like the big box stores, and it's the same few cashiers all the time. I always bring my pop bottles here to return too, since there's never anyone else at the machines. I took off a star because their prices are quite a bit higher than the big box stores, and you definitely do need to check the expiration dates before buying anything, but the convenience absolutely makes up for it and I'm almost tempted to give them the full five stars for the small town experience that is Polly's.

But I gave this one a chance and I think it was a nice visit. I personally prefer Westborn and Busch's, as this place doesn't really stand out for me as far as what they offer. I still don't see what the hype is about, but I did like the produce I bought and I got a good deal on some wild caught salmon. Prices are on the higher end, but that's to be expected.

I am not fully convinced Costco is the best place to shop for your daily needs; especially for a family as small as ours. You are buying in bulk and storing it in the house; sometimes for a year if you dont use as much kitchen paper (for example) The good things although are - customer service is good; the checkout lines moves fast even on the weekends! ; the produce is good quality and lasts! Turns out that the item was from the upcoming sale section. Was told that the same starts on Wednesday. Ok. That was a decent experience. Came back today (Thursday) and it just went downhill from the minute we walked in. A young man (20s) with glasses and spikey-ish dark blonde hair made exaggerated looks at his watch (20 minutes before closing). I walked around the store twice looking for the planter so I stopped this guy to ask where it was. He took one look at the pic on my phone and said they sold out. I was surprised and asked that they would have sold out in one day. He said that they were on sale for quite some time. I said no, the sale started yesterday and I had even been in a few days prior by mistake and was told to come back once the sales starts as they would have them then. The guy just said "likely story" and walked away. So I do too - goodbye Aldi...this guy has cost you my business.

It definitely helped me out a lot. It was 24 hours otherwise I would have had to park here and wait for hours just to get some gas. That's how low I was. I mean, how low can you go? The price is fairly cheap by Michigan standards and they are lifesavers so I'm giving them a very good rating. They also have some decent bottled water for sale in here.
