The store is well stocked. I like the bulk foods section - nice variety. I also like their fresh milled oatmeal, nut butters (peanut, etc.), and honey. You can find a little of everything but it is on the pricey side. Sometimes there *are* deals. I used the self service lane so I didn't have to interact with anyone.

One of my favorite grocery stores. The produce is fresh and wonderfully displayed. I can quickly find organic and natural fruits and veggies. The fresh squeezed orange juice is one of the main reasons I shop here. It is hard to find real deal OJ and Fresh Thyme has you covered. Surprisingly, FT has a decent wine selection. There is a wide variety of both domestic and international wines. The prices are competitive to other stores that sell similar wine. I shop here two to three times a month. The employees are friendly and the store is cleaner than Kroger and Meijer.

I am writing a review for fresh thyme. I usually go to the one in farmington but I checked out the one in northville. It was a nice friendly place. Good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Huge selection of vitamins and supplements and good new and upcoming selection of specialty drinks like kombucha amomg others. They also have classes and cooking tutorials which is great for the community. Recently they got bought out by Meijers so now they have big pharma like brands instead of complete whole foods and naturaopathic things which is a bummer but hey corporate greed is a thing right. Overall people are friendly and service is overall nice as well. 90/100

Didn't expect to find a farmers market near Novi Detroit and turned out to be an awesome store! The gluten-free selection is A+ and had many local bakeries and pies and bread! Gluten-Free Oh My! Fresh Thyme Market was legit and a great way for me to explore the local produce, export, import of this region. I got some elite dairy raspberry lemonade and fruit juice and mixed it with some vodka was excellent. The parking was easy and the store was fresh, organic, and clean. The staff were also helpful in helping me find the bathroom!

View from the southwest quadrant of the store. Note the natural lighting.

This is the best grocery store for several reasons. First of all, the staff is amazing. They remember you; there is good conversation at the registers. Second, the selection is healthier than other larger chains like Busch's and Kroger. Fewer processed foods and such. Meat seems to be fresher than the larger stores. Third, there are great deals on Wednesdays: Deals from the previous week are still happening, and deals for the following week begin. Fourth, the sandwich and pizza counter is on-point. Custom 12" pizzas for $8.99 are a solid deal; 8" for $4.99. Fifth, there is a great selection of mixed nuts, lentils, rices, candies, sundries, etc. I cannot say enough good things about this store. Clean, good staff, good deals, good produce. I will continue to frequent Fresh Thyme for years to come.

I was very disappointed to see the staff allowing a customer to shop and checkout without a mask today. Will not be coming back again.

First off, we went on a Friday early evening the week the strawberries were ready for picking and it was PLENTIFUL. So many berries. My family and I all agreed that we would only be picking enough to eat at home and that's it. No jamming, canning, freezing, etc. Yet the berries were so perfect, so ripe and beautiful we somehow picked a full tray each, even in the 90 degree, 60% humidity heat. NO REGRET! It's still super easy to go here. Drive up, grab your tray, pick your berries, drive back and get them weighed (there's stall with mixes for baked goods, jams, and more plus bottled beverages if the heat is getting to you). I can't remember exactly but it shook out to be around 2.59 a pound I believe (but don't quote me on that) and I got $23 dollars worth. Now I have nearly 9lbs of strawberries in my fridge for snacking, baking, and more. But don't expect jam this year. I haven't the energy for that!

Located in charming Kerrytown, you can easily bundle farmer's market shopping with strolling through Kerrytown shops, downtown shops, and/or grabbing a tasty meal while you're out too. Saturday mornings through early afternoon year-round, and Wednesdays May-Dec. I will say that this year it seems like Wednesday market is much more sparse in terms of vendors and offerings than it used to be, but still a nice option for a less busy day. Artisan market on Sundays, and occasional events throughout the year as well - like the Christmas market each December (one evening only). Parking can be a little hectic - have to be kind of lucky to get a market lot spot or one of the spots on Detroit St (paid), but there are other street parking options and nearby lots and garages. I used to like going Wednesdays before 8am, because I could always get a spot on Detroit St and it was free before then.

It's part of the experience. Come prepared to walk a bit and you'll be fine. The vendors clearly put in a lot of effort. You can tell there's pride in what they're offering, and the market itself has a good atmosphere. That said, I didn't really find anything I needed or couldn't live without this visit. The items were fine, just not quite what I was hoping for. I do wish the vendors could get a little more bang for their buck, whether that's higher traffic, better layout, or stronger buyer energy. The effort is there, and it deserves to be rewarded. All in all, it's a nice stop, worth checking out, and still a good market even if it wasn't a standout haul for me this time. Four stars.

We didn't end up buying anything, but I would love to go back again. The market is open on Saturdays year round, and even in the coldest January weather there were a lot of people there! It was a Saturday afternoon and a perfect fall day - which meant our idea wasn't entirely original and everyone also also wanted cider and donuts. If it looks calm and quiet from the road, it might be false advertising. The entrance to the building is in the back, and the line goes through the building and then out the back entrance. Under normal circumstances, the line really wasn't that long, but the line was moving at a snail's pace. There were really only two people working but one cashier register. And they just weren't moving very fast. I can appreciate that they were understaffed (as so many businesses are these days) but there was a complete lack of urgency that made everyone a bit annoyed to wait in the line. They do have a few picnic tables in the back for people to sit and enjoy their snacks. They also offer cups so we can enjoy our cider right away. This place is a satellite site of their main Cider Mill, but I think the owners need to look into giving this place a little bit more love when it comes to staffing. If I were to come here again, I'd do so on a different day. I imagine that it's a better experience at 3pm in the afternoon on a Tuesday.
