They have a nice selection of plants, herbs and vegetables. One big thing I did notice this year was that they dropped the cell size of the vegetable saplings from 4 to 3 but the price stayed the same $1.99. A lot of places are still charging the same price for a 4 cell so keep that in mind. The plants looked really healthy this year so far. I love their Salad Bowls. I always pick up 2 or 3. It's great having access to fresh lettuce everyday. I also came looking for a couple Lemon Cypress trees. Sadly they don't carry them so that was a bit of a disappointment. We did leave with some herbs and vegetable plants though. TIP: Get here early in the season... The plants that they have in the first week or two of opening are a great deal for their size, a large 4" tomato plant will cost you less than $3.

As for the store itself? It's a nice facility, to be sure. It's huge, great selection, etc. Seems newer in general, which is nice. After my first shot I took a few moments to pick up a few grocery items and I found everything with ease. The part where they lose the stars is that outside of the pharmacy area I felt pretty unsafe. I saw guests shopping without masks, groups of shoppers standing around talking with each other with their masks on their chins (taking your mask off to talk to someone defeats the purpose, FYI). I know it's hard for employees to enforce this, so I wouldn't hold it against them if it weren't for the fact that I saw a few employees doing the same thing. Masks under their noses, poorly fitting, etc. I was so turned off by the experience that when I went in for my second shot I left immediately and did my 15 minute wait in my car. It's a shame a few folks spoiled my experience because for the most part people were complying, but with cases spiking in MI and me being high risk, I just didn't feel comfortable. All it takes is one slip and I wasn't willing to risk it. Post-pandemic, I'd definitely consider shopping there again. But for now, I'm grateful for my vaccines and that's as far as I'll go.

The icing on the cake are theit hours. The Meat/Seafood area are open until 11. So if you get off work late or just need a steak later on in the evening you can fulfill your needs here! Most of the staff is helpful. The older gentleman (can't remember his name at the moment) is so knowledgeable. I love when he is working because I know I am going to get great service and a great product. The produce department is usually well stocked and always looks presentable. They also have a large Pre-made food area. Their Rotisserie chickens are great. They are made with natural ingredients like salt and pepper or herbs. So many places load them up with ingredients you can't pronounce. They also have a nice Beer and Wine Selection. The Cons: The staff had changed over some and an employee was closing the seafood area down hours earlier than usual(8:00). Not sure where Management was in that decision and on allowing that to happen. Really made an impact on scheduling and others we spoke with. Hopefully that will be corrected.

I contacted them immediately, I won't even go into that ghetto rigga-marole! This Kroger I usually shop a certain weekday b/c I volunteer at a local Food Pantry, just down the road. About 2PM each time. The ONLY issues I've had is having to find someone to fix the bottle return machines, the weird male store manager oddly following me around even tho I'm there every week & spend about $200 each time (as I see another lady wrote in her review), I'm always by myself, and I'm middle-aged but I am 100% DISABLED. And legally Deaf. Needless to say, I don't appreciate being followed by this guy, I mean you must recognize me, and there's cameras in the ceiling. I tried a new approach, & it worked! I started moving at a snail's pace. Hey, I'm physically & mentally Disabled, so I'm probably slower-going anyways...but any time I see this guy or one of his co-horts, usually middle-aged women, I put the brakes on. This does seem to be a Kroger thing since at Meijer they have those spinning carousels with the bags, and I haven't run into this there, but there isn't a Meijer nearby. This Kroger does open up more checkout lanes if they start backing up, I've seen that every time. I'll say here a VAST IMPROVEMENT for Kroger! Order online, go to the store, pick-up for FREE. You don't have to deal with the narrow store aisles, parking, rude other shoppers, bagging your own groceries. Knock on wood, that service is 5 stars! And you can give them coupons too. Not bottle return slips tho. I've been doing it for like a year or so, it is EPIC & again, FREE (over a small amount). Believe it or not, I have not had them mess up even once! It's great service. Then you can check your receipt when you get home, on your phone or computer. If anything is missing or expired or any issues, you can check a box online, it sends you a refund immediately. I will say, by default, the box is checked to Allow Substitutions. You want to uncheck that for sure. I'm a Vegetarian, I don't need subs of Morning Star Farms with real hot dogs or steaks or something. You can take the time & individually mark item substitutions. They are ALWAYS out of at least 1 thing I order. But I do relevant subs for most items. They have Delivery too, over a certain amount I think it's free, I haven't tried that yet since I'm in SL anyway. Order online the day before, go to the pick-up near the pharmacy drive-thru, they load your car up for FREE. No tipping either! And they load all the groceries for you, FREE.

One thing I will say is that they (usually) have the best selection of Matchbox cars for my kiddo. Weird to note I know but it's one of the reasons I like to come here. That aside, their produce is pretty fair, and their meat selections are also pretty good. All in all I haven't had any issue with service, they keep good inventory, and check out is always smooth too. Prices are very competitive over that at Busch's and they give you 3 cents off on gas with their card around the side of the building.

There's a few positives and a few negatives about this Kroger…read more Positives include a gas station at this location in which you can use your Kroger shopper's point to receive fuel discounts which start out at locally competitive prices. This location has all three grades of gasoline and diesel fuel as well. The next positive convenience is that have a redemption recycling center located at the north entrance of the store for all your redeemable cans, plastic, and glass...as long as that brand is sold at this Kroger. A negative is that often one or more of the machines are not working or the bins are full and won't accept any more recycling on top of having to wait in line to use a machine. An additional negative aspect is that the service desk does not open until 10 am on this Saturday morning. However, an employee overseeing the self check out allowed me to make simple exchange of a similar type of product that I had purchased the day before. I've heard comments that this location is in need of updating, but for my needs, this is a minor issue that is outweighed by the convenience of it location. I will continue to shop at this location for that reason.
