Agreed completely with Annette J (duh) - long lines; prices worth it! Overall, especially during COVID, I haven't had to wait but a handful of times. The staff there are nice and greet you as they walk by. I do wish that as they walked by they would wipe down the pump handles though. I feel that that should have been happening LONG before COVID. I am not a germaphobe, but really, lots of grimey hands all over those pumps... so please, consider wiping those babies down. read more

The usual long lines for gas at Costco on a Saturday afternoon. Of course we picked the lane with only two pumps, all of the other rows have 3 on each side. At least they 22 pumps total here, not too bad. Despite the lines, it's all moving along. Gas is $2.50/gallon. $42 or so to fill the tank. read more

Costco has the cheapest priced gas in Ann Arbor and it's consistent.. It only sells top tier gasoline .. Expect to wait as lines can be long at times, don't swing by if you are in a hurry,. It gets very busy during weekdays afternoon (lunch hour) and evenings .. Line moves quick as there are more pumps and both sides can be filled .. The dispensing hoses can be extended over the top of the car, even if the gas tank is on the opposite side.. You must own the Costco membership to fill gas here .. Payment can only be done using Visa card or Costco Cash cards, no cash accepted .. Hours are limited as they close by 9.30 pm on weekdays and 7- 8 pm on weekend .. Lines are long but worth it for the cost! Costco Gas is consistently one of the lowest if not the lowest spots to refuel in town. I like that I can get gas and my groceries all in one place. The gas station attendants are friendly and helpful in directing traffic and folks to open stations that may not be easily visible through the crowd of cars while waiting in line. The lines at this gas station can be long, even with it being for members only, but the payoff is so worth it! Cheapest gas in Ann Arbor by a wide margin. Pumps are always working reliably and there are tons of open lines which can help with some of the congestion. The shoppers, however, can sometimes be less than polite but it's not the gas station's fault. People just get a little nutty at Costco! Great Costco in Pittsfield Township. Gas pumps always with gas...Can't take that for granit all the time. They always have the lowest price in the area as well. They encourage you to wear gloves while pumping your gas and then throw them away when you're done. They certainly don't allow the pumps to become overcrowded but then they never do. The lines can be long depending on the time of day. The people who oversee the pumps are always very friendly and very helpful if you need anything. I enjoy getting gas at Costco it's A very easy stop when you were there to pick up a few items at the store-And if you're really mindful of cost you go there anyway if it's not too far out of the way which the one here in Ann Arbor near my sisters is close enough they go there for all their vehicle fill ups! read more

If you don't want to wait as long to get to a pump, go to the left side of the stand. Just be sure to pull up far enough so the hose reaches around. Then be careful of someone trying to zoom by when it's time to leave. Regular and premium only. No diesel. There are no squeegees and towels. No trash cans, even! But the price is nice. You must swipe your Costo card first, then your Costco AmEx if you'll be using it. Or else swipe your Costco AmEx twice. We have been going to Costco for many years and unfortunately this is the most unfriendly one we've ever been to. We used to go to the Brighton location. We live in AA so this is our closest Costco, but the staff could use a lesson from the Brighton location on how to make a big box store feel like a neighborhood mom and pop shop. It is a small enough community here that you can crack a smile when you see a familiar shopper. The managers are the most stone faced of the bunch and the leadership sets the tone. There are two cashiers who are awesome and friendly whenever we come in and even ask about the family. I wish they could give the others a lesson on how to greet and make customers feel welcome. read more

What I like: Best gas prices in town! Seriously, it's a good $.30-$.40/gallon less than other gas stations. How do they do it? Who cares! What I don't like: This station can be insanely busy. It looks like a border crossing on Friday nights. Go during the morning during the week to get in and out without having to wait in line. Just like Costco, you've got to be a member (you need to scan your membership card before you can activate the pump) and you've got to pay with a debit card. read more

A great place to get gas if you are a Costco member. Before I purchased my VW TDI vehicle I came here regularly when shopping at Costco, however now my lady gets to be the only on to enjoy the discount. Typically I find this location is about 5-10 cents below the lowest gas station around. I wish they carried Diesel and then I would be back (since my vehicle is no longer petrol). Otherwise clean facility, easy to get to and sometimes has a slight wait (nothing too long) for service. read more

I always find a good deal on gas here. Ever since the additional pumps were installed, the line seems to move quickly, even during peak hours. The staff is always willing to help. In fact, when i had a spill while pumping, i notified the attendant and he was happy to help. He even thanked me for letting him know so he could help instead of just driving off. read more

Still my go-to place for gas, but wanted to update you all: I use GasBuddy app for my Android phone and track gas prices occasionally. Recently the other gas companies around the area are dropping their prices (or Costco is just increasing theirs) so Costco's price advantage isn't that much of an advantage anymore. But either way, I still go here because it's convenient, near my work, I get it while I do my Costco shopping, and because I can get cash back from my membership and Amex card. Another note: you can choose any lane you wish even if the pump isn't on the same side as your gas tank. The pump can extend far enough to reach your tank (at least for my Camry). read more
