Ok so i know i must be the first person in yelp history to review a gas station. There is a reason…read moreto that and no it is not the gas. Now the gas is probably the highest in the area, so don't ever go there for gas. However, the reason why i'm writing this is because of there great liquor prices. They have 4 for $5 beers (24oz), other great deals on 6, 12, 15,18, and 24 and there liquor is under state minimum prices (best liquor prices in the Ypsilanti/ann arbor area if you ask me). So yeah while i will never go here for gas, i will be here again for the drink.

If you're actually reading this, i'll digress for a bit and tell you a brief story. One morning in the fall I drove up to this station to get gas on my way out of town. Some dirt-bag-frat-boy pulled up behind me in daddy's jeep and a dick-wad smirk on his face. Now, i'm getting gas, so I could give a you-know-what. The guy glances at me, then turns to go in the store. "What a jerk" I think. THEN I look over at the front bumper of his car.... big used condom just chilling on his license plate. That punk came back out and I just started laughing. You would have thought I was singing to a chimp with the way he was looking at me. Asshole drove off and i'm sure that thing is still on his bumper. Ah... good times, good times.

It was clear that no effort was made to maintain basic cleanliness standards. (I would not try their "soup" for this reason). Also the pumps look very outdated. Gas prices are cheap but not any better than other nearby options. When I was there, a lot of kids were on the sidewalk where you pull in and out. They were going to cross Prospect to get to school. It seems odd that the city allowed a gas station to be built so close to an elementary school. Also the man working was incredibly rude and unhelpful. When I went to pay he barely acknowledged my presence and seemed annoyed to be there.
