We've been Costco members since 2001, and I was happy when a Costco came to Augusta. Just to give an idea of how much we like Costco, after moving from Florida, we drove up to Atlanta or Greenville once a quarter for a Costco run. Now it is great to have one here in town. The prices and quality of goods at Costco are top notch. Gas prices at the Costco are the best in town - particularly if you have an executive membership where you will get an extra cash back at the end of the year. For Christmas, I bought my co-workers the "gift of membership" - probably the highest recommendation I can make. read more

for months now all of our employees have enjoyed being able to walk over to costco for lunch even without having a membership but here recently ,they have stopped that..when i inquired why the policy changed, i was told it hasnt changed and it basically depends on whos working the door whether or not they let you in to visit the food court..maybe they should should make a yes or no policy.. read more

We have membership at both Costco and Sam's. We like Costco for the name brand, quality products. Great cut of meats and keep your eyes out for one time brand items like Tag Hauer watch, north face jackets, etc read more

I have always been a Costco member in California so when this Costco opened I was SO excited. Nothing beats a $1.50 polish hot dog with a soda drink! And Costco always has great deals with nice brands like Adidas, North Face, Regal gift cards, and the Kirkland (Costco brand) is actually pretty good quality. We shop at Costco for pretty much everything like our produce, cereals, eggs, meats, drinks, snacks, and all of our toiletries and cleaning products. And if you come during the weekend they have amazing samples, you can practically have lunch just eating their samples. So basically Costco is awesome. read more

One of the nicer large warehouse style stores that I have been in. They have tons of variety in the items that they carry, and the staff was super friendly. As expected, the prices are great when you need a large quantity of an item. This is a little out of the way of my normal shopping area, but I'm willing to make the trip. The gas prices are also GREAT. read more

The chicken bake is the best 3 bucks I have ever spent in my life! That thing is amazing! Juicy chicken cooked to perfection inside a bun. The bread wasn't doughy or burnt and the chicken was perfect. I have no idea how they do it perfect every time! read more

Extremely disappointed in tire service at Costco. Got tires from them, now all of them leak air (don't hold pressure even for a week; goes from 32 psi to 25 psi) and nobody wants to do anything about it. Client's safety is obviously not a concern. Never again. read more

I've never been more disappointed. We live on Lake Oconee near Greensboro and drove 150 miles round trip to visit the Augusta Costco on Easter Sunday. It was closed. $1.99 for a gigantic slice of pizza and .59 for a 20 oz soda? Can't beat that anywhere! Gas cheaper here than it is in SC? Can't beat that! $17.99 for Kirkland's brand baby formula that is all the baby will eat when Enfamil is $34+? Can't beat that! Always had an Amazing experience here. We are returning a Keruig 2.0 K560. We have had it for a few months and it has gone to the giant coffee maker in the sky. Decided to try Costco Optical. Got a text my glasses were in. Drove down to find out that they had ordered the wrong lenses. I needed these glasses as I was going away for a month to attend a class and needed these glasses. Will probably just get my money back and go back to my Doctor and order them. They are more money, but at least I get the correct product when I order from there. read more

I went to the Costco in Augusta because I know I can get a good hot dog or slice of pizza there pretty quick. I went there with a friend who was already a member, thought maybe I would join too even though I already have a Sam's Club card. When I approached the food counter/restaurant to get something to eat all I saw was a female (which I was later told was the food court manager) standing around doing nothing and this poor redheaded cashier running around trying to do everything herself. The employees in the back part of the restaurant looked pretty lost, I felt sorry for this cashier, she was polite and trying to hurry up my order but the people in the back were either lost or poorly trained. I felt very uncomfortable watching this all happen in front of me. I believe the corporate headquarters for Costco are in Seattle, they need to know what's going on there, this certainly was a display of poor management. --Dr. Alexander, Augusta read more

Called Costco April 21, 2013 in advance of driving to their Augusta, GA warehouse to confirm inventory of a specific model of Elliptical exercise equipment. Was advised the unit was in stock. Drove 25 miles, (50 round trip) and was directed to the area where the unit(s) were alleged to be located. Found none. Had an associate at the store check stock. Was told they had the unit and again was directed to the area where it should be located. Found none. After an hour of chasing around their warehouse was advised by an another associate "if it's not there we don't have it regardless of what the inventory says". Placed an online order that night with Costco.com. Received the unit April 30, 2013. May 1, advised their vendor Icon Health and Fitness that there was no assembly hardware or owners / assembly manual shipped with the unit. The vendor's customer service advised that the assembly hardware was on backorder, offered no commitment for a delivery date or no offer to expedite the backordered hardware. Just a matter of fact "we can't ship we are out of it." As of May 13th no word from Icon Health and Fitness. Costco is no deal! Cost of doing business with Costco far exceeds any perceived value. read more
