During this visit, my 14-year-old daughter needed to use the restroom. Upon exiting, my 14-year-old daughter was approached by security who accused her of smoking marijuana in the bathroom. My daughter called my wife, and when she arrived, my wife informed the security personnel that our daughter is only 14 and does not smoke at all. My wife then granted security permission to search and smell our daughter to prove that she could not have been the one smoking weed, which would have resolved the allegations immediately. However, instead of hearing my wife's words and conducting a proper investigation, the security staff insisted that my wife and family leave the mall, which was incredibly humiliating for them. After my family was unjustly removed, my wife called the police to document the incident. The two officers who responded stated that security should have simply used their sense of smell rather than making assumptions. This incident has left my daughter traumatized, having been falsely accused and unable to demonstrate that she neither smoked nor had any scent of marijuana on her. This was a deeply distressing experience for my family, and there needs to be accountability or compensation for the humiliation and trauma inflicted on my daughter. I request that these two individuals offer my daughter an apology for their error, or I will be compelled to pursue legal action, as this situation is entirely unacceptable

The best part of the store was honestly the artwork section. They had several nice wall pieces that caught my attention, but beyond that the selection felt very basic. I was hoping to find unique décor items, accent pieces, or some hidden gems, but I may have only seen one or two décor items worth mentioning. Most of the furniture looked very plain and the lower prices reflected the quality. There was also a chair section, but unless you only need one random chair here or there, the selection was slim. If you're looking for affordable furniture and home décor, I honestly think stores like HomeGoods offer a much better variety with similar pricing. The one thing this store absolutely got right was the customer service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and offered assistance throughout the store. You can choose to allow them to substitute items if similar style/qty or not sub at all. I usually choose not to let them substitute out of stock items because their choices often don't make sense. For instance one day I ordered a 50gal plastic bin with a locking lid. What they subbed for it was a 105gal bin with locking lid and also brought the wrong lid. Not having a car, I was a bit miffed that Walmart wanted ME to return this huge, ridiculous substituted item with the incorrect lid to the store. On another order they substituted a bunch of berry drinks in place of iced tea. On the rare occasion that i decide to uber there to shop in person, the store is constantly out of items. It's a definite waste to pay to uber back and forth when the items you're looking to buy aren't in stock. Items at Walmart are still cheaper than the regular supermarkets, but definitely doesn't feel like the savings of years past. On a higher note, the workers here are all super friendly and very helpful. One last note.... The store has a couple of ceiling leaks near the mid and back of the store, so be mindful when it's raining out that you don't stumble over a small bucket in the middle of an aisle.
