I…read morecalled 3 highly reviewed roofing companies in the Bay Area. 2 came out and gave me quotes, 1 no showed. Out of the 2 that came out, I choose to go forward with Apollo Roofing. I chose them for 2 major reasons. 1) they were going to deal with the scheduling of the removal and réinstallation of our solar panels. And 2) Shahar was so kind, informative, and honest during our consultation. He was through and kept us updated every step of the way. When our project finally started the crew were so respectful and kind! We found way more damage than we expected which resulted in our quote going up. However, due to Shahar being honest at the consultation we knew this was a possibility so it wasn't super shocking. The crew was great at cleaning up at the end of every day, which we appreciate as we have chickens, ducks, a puppy and cat as well as a child who are outside. When the project was done, there were a few concerns we had, we talk to Shahar and he quickly corrected and had the crew fix the items. Our roof is beautiful and will hopefully last many many years to come. I am thankful we went with Apollo Roofing and Happy Shahar was our project manager.

He was professional, courteous, friendly, and incredibly meticulous, with an exceptional eye for detail. Throughout the project, Carlos provided excellent advice and made sure everything was done to the highest standards. What really impressed us was that, even after the work was completed, he proactively arranged for his team to return to repaint and touch up a few areas because he personally felt they could be improved. We hadn't even asked! It's rare to find someone who takes such pride in their work and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. We are extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend Carlos and ELM Roofing to anyone considering a roofing project!

Carlos, as Project Manager, clearly described the project and went into detail about the materials as well as the sequence and timing of each stage of the demolition and replacement of the roof. When I had a question about the wording of the contract he provided clarity. BTW ELM has a great multi-decade warranty. Carlos, accessed the city permits quickly and the work began on schedule. In addition, he made himself available by phone, text and email and in person and I was able to check-in with him each day about the progress of the project and any questions I had. His, foreman Ricardo and crew proved to be skilled, thorough and efficient and debris was cleaned up each day. The project moved smoothly and was finished in a swift 3 days, this included attic cleaning, attic rodent protection and installation of new insulation (thanks Giorgio). The City's final inspection was a breeze. The roof looks great and it's definitely an upgrade from the old roof. We can now face the rainy season with confidence. Note: I accidentally made an overpayment online which ELM accounting caught. Carlos notified me and I received an overpayment refund in short order! I highly recommend ELM Roofing and notably, Carlos who was great to work with.

During the teardown, we discovered that one of the walls hadn't been properly constructed originally. Cesar caught the issue immediately, and all the leaks are now completely resolved. They also uncovered some unexpected wood rot during the process, but instead of massive upcharges, Cesar gave me a very fair and reasonable rate to handle the repairs properly. As part of the project, they installed sound-absorbing insulation under the new siding. The difference is night and day--the house is much quieter now, completely weatherproofed, and the exterior looks gorgeous. Cesar is honest, highly skilled, hardworking, and possesses excellent communication skills. His team showed up, stayed on the job, and finished the entire project remarkably fast. He also handled day-to-day job logistics with total professionalism and ease. I was so impressed with the quality of their work that I've already referred them to family members for their own siding and roofing needs. I would not hesitate to hire Cesar and his team again. They were incredibly thorough. They ran multiple flood tests and found nothing wrong with the roof itself. Follow-up spray tests traced the leak to where the roof meets the siding. The siding had been replaced by a different contractor after the roof went in, and that connection wasn't done the way the roofers had recommended, yet they still ended up replacing almost the entire roof under warranty. I honestly can't think of many roofers who would do that. Most would have pointed to the siding and moved on. They worked closely with a siding contractor I brought in to fix it, and the two of them problem-solved together really well until the issue was fully resolved. These guys do great work, show up on time, and keep showing up until the job is done. I couldn't recommend them more, and I'll be using them for all future roofing work in the city.
