The cashier charged us for the free queso promotion on the wall. After we liked and shared. Queso is cheap, sweet.... Weird in my opinion. Sauce bottles of Cholula were empty. I came here for dinner in hopes of getting some fresh veggies. The staff was kind, but seemed short staffed. They were all running around. The line was moving super slow so it was good I wasn't in a hurry. When it was my time to order, they asked me to wait a minute while they fulfilled an online order. I'm not sure what restaurant protocol is on this, but I was put off that an online order was getting prioritized over the customer in front of them. The food was decent and portions good. Oof. Would NOT recommend this location. One dish was correct. One dish they kept trying to put in the wrong order. Both us and the customer in front had to keep saying the quesadilla was for us. The last dish had to be remade 3 times and was STILL wrong. The first time they put on the wrong beans and added pico. When we pointed out the error the worker said, "oh, I'll just put your beans on top of them." What?! We asked them to remake it, but this time it came out with medium sauce instead of mild. The third time it looked correct so we left, only to later discover that they had started the enchilada with medium sauce (again) and then covered it up by topping it with mild sauce (see photos). They were not busy or rushed. Just inattentive. The fact that twice they tried to just cover up and hide the error with something else rather than fix it really grates. Stopped here with a friend on our way back to Utah from Boise. We are huge Costa Vida fans but the workers at this one weren't very friendly. Seemed irritated to help guests though it was a Monday night and not terribly busy. Hate to leave bad reviews but there's nothing worse than bad service and feeling unwelcome!! This is a nice burrito Place where are you ask them to put whatever you want inside of it but the people have gotten really lazy they don't actually care what you asked for they don't even really hear what you asked for and they take one person at a time it's extremely slow they are wonderful burritos but it's such a confusing hurry up and rush and you must know what you want on it now because they're in such a hurry when they first came out they were amazing they have lost their caring about the customer but then again so has all of America so maybe it's just during this Ridiculous virus and nobody's going to work. They're finding the slowest most upset people maybe. CRAPPY SERVICE!!! Not only was it incredibly crappy service, but also extremely SLOW service! Even though they appeared to have a lot of employees there. I kept hearing "you're falling behind again!" "you're falling behind again!" When I FINALLY got the opportunity to order, after they decided to fill multiple orders of people who had not been standing there in line.... while I stood there in line right in front of them. I ordered the Honey Butter Shrimp Tacos since I had never tried them. Told them to put on it what normally comes with it. The guy loaded them with tomato pico & hard woody lettuce ends. ZERO MANGO SALSA! Couldn't even really taste the 4 teeny-tiny shrimp they put in each tortilla. So it turns out it was also CRAPPY FOOD!!! He asked if it was to stay or to go & I got it to go since I was meeting others who wisely chose to order their dinners somewhere else. He put a lid on it & left it way up the line instead of taking it to the register. Another guy several places behind me in line had yelled for him to do something. The employee immediately abandoned me & my order to go do what the other person was telling him to do. Not him, or even one single other employee comprehended that I'm STILL STANDING THERE waiting for my food. It wasn't until they came & asked me what I wanted on my shrimp tacos.... which was someone else's order, for me to finally be able to tell them mine was already done & I just needed to pay for it. This employee was not real friendly, & was also the one that had kept telling other employees they were falling behind. My dinner companions were back at the hotel about finished eating by time I could make it back there, even though they ordered literally at the building next door to this one! As for the "ambiance" of this place? I would call it chaos. Extremely slow, unprofessional chaos! The customers who choose to patronize their business really don't mean anything to them. I placed an online order to avoid waiting in line. When I arrived and stood at the pick-up window, I was simply... ignored. The closest employee looked at me, didn't acknowledge me, looked away. She finally came over and simply said, "Name?" I told her. She got my order and set it down in front of me. Not a word. No greeting, no thank you, nothing. After I left I realized there was no plasticware or napkin in my bag. Kind of hard to eat a salad without a fork. The food was fairly good, except for the big blob of fatty pork. But honestly, I was so soured by the service that I doubt I'll be back. There are too many places I'd rather give my money to that at least make an effort at customer service. read more

Called in an order. One item. At the end of the call, the worker said, "it'll be ready when we get to it." I asked what that meant and she said "About 25 minutes." So I said, forget it. (My husband was 5 minutes away picking the order up for me.). She said, "oh, I see it's just a salad. I'll start that right now-ready in about 5 minutes." So I told her thank you and that I really appreciated her help. 15 minutes later my husband called to say that they didn't make it because they didn't think I was coming to pick it up.
