She is in a wheelchair so I called before her appointment to see if that would be an issue since she wanted her hair washed and cut. Kitty answered and acted like I was an idiot for asking the question with her could-care-less attitude. Okay . . . I then asked if I could leave my card on file with them because my mother was being taken there by her caregiver. I was told "no" due to fraud. No problem. Understandable. I then said when making the online appointment that I chose "senior" haircut and that she wanted her hair washed also. She told me there was "no way" she could have her hair washed in that time slot. Okay . . . The caregiver arrived late with my mother and a gentleman waiting for his haircut offered his spot. So sweet of him - I wish he ran the place. I am not faulting them for this issue but was told they were very rude to my mother and her caregiver. Needless to say, we will never be back and will warn away anyone who thinks of going there. If you want nothing better than McDonalds-like drive-through service, this is your place. For anyone who wants to be treated like a human, move along.

Dropping in with a little update since I've officially had experience with a second current stylist…read moreat Mirror Image. I dropped in last weekend with my mom, siblings and a couple other gals to get our hair done for my sister's wedding. The six of us (the bride, bridesmaids and mother of the bride) had our hair done by Kelly and Jessica (they each did three do's). Before arriving at the salon, I was a woman on a mission to make sure Kelly did my hair.....since she's the only stylist I knew at the salon. But of course, my mother and both sisters are also Kelly fans as well - and Kelly had already practiced with the other ladies' hair and had a plan in place. As soon as I saw Jessica start to work I knew I'd be okay. Just like Kelly, she was super competent and great with updos. My hair looked amazing! I got so many compliments on it. Everyone else's hair looked great too. All six of us entered the salon with varying degrees of knowing what we wanted.....and the ladies did a amazing job either matching our requests or helping us find the perfect updo. And the atmosphere was so nice, too. We ordered pastries and sandwiches from Felicia's (next door) and sipped on mimosas during the three hours we were there. Even though I offered mimosas to both Kelly and Jessica, they both opted against champagne while working on our hair....probably the professional decision. Thanks so much to Mirror Image, Kelly and Jess for helping to make my sister's wedding day special!
