I also love that u can do appointment online and call for appointment is good too , don't try to walk in cuz you may not have so much luck , they are very busy . If you do decide to walk in as long you walk in at the right time they will squeeze you in for sure . But don't get mad and think they can double themselves. Good place and also is clean . read more

We brought in a group of 6 people with special needs. Diana accommodated us all by opening up the shop early, just for us. She was able to navigate some challenging behaviors while executing beautiful haircuts for the women and men in our group, understanding what techniques and haircuts work for different hair types and facial structures. I took my 7 year old daughter for a walk in hair cut and it took a while before anyone was able to greet us and check us in. The stylist was very friendly and was great with my daughter. Unfortunately her hair cut was not very good. My daughter was great staying still during her hair cut so when I brushed her hair that evening I was so surprised how badly cut it was. It was very uneven and on one side had much longer pieces of hair:(. Very very disappointing read more

Great Deal price wise! But the Salon is really starting to look run down! Dust every where, hair in corners, rug stains, rug pulls, tile job and paint not looking so hot! In need of touch up and it will look much better and I am sure it would make the clients and stylist happier! read more

I wish I could give a zero star review! Both times I went to this salon were disastrous. The first time, I asked for a Zooey Dechanel cut. Just when she got the bangs right and after I told her it was perfect and to stop, she cut out a big chunk. I had to let my bangs grow out. So when I went today, I had a picture of what I wanted it to look like, which was a picture of Naomi Campbell, whose bangs are long and straight across. Well, the woman who cut my hair this time said she was going to keep my bangs long and "would neaten them up" when it was dry. She ended up cutting it too short and cut out the same chunk (although not as much as before) that the other woman who cut my hair did the first time. Let's just say it looked NOTHING like the picture I had shown her. She didn't even give me long layers like she said she would, keeping it @ the same length. The stylist who worked on my husband who just wanted a trim got an inferior haircut as well. She left it too long in the back and it looks terrible. I wish we hadn't tipped them because it was definitely not worth it. I will never go to this place again. I gave them a second shot and they blew it. If you want a lousy haircut for a cheap price, go here. If you want a good haircut, go somewhere else. read more

I'm a guy, and an old guy at that. Recently I've been letting my hair grow, and was now ready for a cut. Did I go to a barber? No. I thought that where my hair was now long, I'd use the services of a ladies hair stylist. Tina in Franklin cut my hair and did a great job. She layered my hair with the shears. I looked beautiful! The cut deserved 5 stars. The only thing I didn't like was the sales pitch for hair tonic. Great hair cut. I'll be back. read more

I'm a bargain hunter, so I often go to Cost Cutters in Franklin for a quick cut or eyebrow wax. Their haircut prices are a lot cheaper than the average salon, so I go in between my "expensive" haircuts just to maintain the style and get rid of split ends. If you have a particular style or type of hair, then you might be better off spending the money elsewhere, but since my hair is thick and my cut is basic, going here has worked out well. And with waxing, CC has great prices; I even have a little card that keeps track of my waxes and gives me the tenth free. I always go back here because they keep a personal record, so they know how my sensitive skin can burn easily (a girl did burn me there once or twice, but only on my first few trips when I didn't warn them!). Definitely call ahead to check the wait time, though, cause they tend to be very crowded, especially on the weekends. Highly recommend them, though! read more

Customers do not come first here. Came in on a Monday afternoon, there was only one customer and he was being tended to. The lady tending to him called for another lady to serve me because she saw me sitting down in the guest sitting area (where I'm the only one). After 5 minutes she comes out and has me sign in, and tells me it will be a couple minutes, yet there's no one else in front of me! Also, a third employee comes out from the back, and she doesn't do anything. Over the next 15 minutes, including the arrival of a fourth employee, the ladies continue to come to the front desk, tap the computer a little bit, and then go to the back. There was also a lady who came in a minute after I did, and was taken because she had an appointment- fair enough. But I'll speak on her behalf, for the remainder of the time I saw her sit in her chair unattended to the whole time. I was there for 32 minutes. Was there something going on in the back that was really awesome? The super bowl, the march madness finals, the royal wedding!? No it was a Monday afternoon, I found that they simply do not prioritize the customers first, and to that I cannot give a good review. I recommend to everyone to go elsewhere- that is until they seriously change some things around there. read more

I recent brought my 87 year old mom to get her hair washed and set at cost cutters in Franklin Upon entering we were told that there would be about a 15 minute wait which was great. Soon my Mom was greeted by Tina. Not only did she do a great job, but she treated my Mom with great respect and dignity and even held her hand as she walked her out (as mom is quite frail) I can't say enough good things about our visit. I will not go back to the Cost Cutters in Franklin, MA in the Horace Mann Plaza. I know it's not a top-notch salon, but that does not mean the service should be reprehensible. I go in sometimes to pick up shampoo, etc. The staff is incompetent and rude, to say the least. No one greets you when you walk in and when they do happen to wander over to the front desk, they practically roll their eyes. Also, they have zero knowledge about store products and or any promotions going on in the store - even when the displays have signs that say "buy one, get this one free". I was really annoyed today and it wasn't the first time a staffer couldn't help me with a product or has said they know nothing about the promotion. Never going back - not worth the frustration. read more
