The best part the lumber was paid for by the guy he was helping. I was in the building when the guy came in to pay for the lumber and I asked him why he paid for it after the guy was fired. He stated that the guy called or was called by his supervisor about taking some lumber destined for the scrap pile and was told not to worry about it but that he chimed in and said he would be out Wednesday to pay for it. The supervisor said not to worry about it. They just needed a couple of 2x4's to finish up so the neighbor could be taken to a doctors appointment the next morning. Just goes to show you how big egos get in the way of compassion. I'll refuse to support this company from now on.

The builder informed me that I had purchased the model "as is" and they would not remedy the problem. They referred me to 84 Lumber. After two phone calls 84 Lumber responded and took complete responsibility to repair the system to like new condition at no cost. They left one small item unfinished, but returned 3 days later with the last remaining finish piece to make the door look perfect. An admirable work ethic and knowledgeable work skills to finish the job properly.

My employer would have me order stuff from them for various jobs around the warehouse. There are 3 ways to place an order, you can call over the phone, go online, or do it in person. Personally, I prefer to place the order online, then by the time I would arrive at the location it was already pulled for me. Yes, they pull everything for you. You tell them what you want, and how many, and they go get it for you, and bring it to the counter. If you don't want to go to them to pick it up, they will ship it out to you, or a job site if needed. Home Depot is a bit cheaper for some items, plus you can go online and have your order pulled for you as well, but they don't do it as fast as Grainger does, nor do they have the selection of items. Plus as Grainger, I can order just 1 of an item, not the entire pack of how many, which is great considering you only need one. #340
