Outstanding experience with Cosmic Bakery. Our daughter is a huge Back to the Future fan, and my husband found this bakery while searching for someone who could bring that vision to life. From the moment we explained what we wanted for her cake, they listened carefully and captured every detail perfectly -- right down to the foil pan. When our daughter saw the cake, she was ecstatic and even brought to tears. It made her 16th birthday incredibly special and truly unforgettable. On top of that, the cake was unbelievably delicious. I can't even put into words how moist and flavorful it was, especially with the strawberry filling -- absolutely amazing. I called in a pinch for my son's birthday cake. They were instantly gracious, helpful, and willing to do their best to make it happen for him. Considering I needed the cake in 2 days, I was expecting them to make a simpler version of the cake photos I provided for reference. They did not and in fact, they exceeded the expectations I would have had if they had weeks notice. I cannot recommend this bakery enough. Not going to lie, I'm a little disappointed. I called in for a quote on a new birthday cake. I was told to send in a photo of what we were looking for (via text) and to hurry to send it in quickly so we can get our order in (because she was getting booked fast). I sent in everything that was asked of me and I never heard anything back. A simple response saying "hey I can't do it" would have been nice and I get that people get busy. Anyway, I don't doubt her ability to make cakes, as I said in my previous review, but customer service wasn't great this time around so I dropped my rating to 4 stars. They made a fairly last minute cake for my wedding and it was delicious! We had tried 3 other bakeries within our price range and all 3 had fairly dry cupcakes. In a desperate attempt to find an edible cake 2 weeks before the wedding, we went to Cosmic Cakery and bought some cupcakes. They were divine! So moist and fluffy! We immediately went back inside and ordered the cake. It was a relatively simple design, but you could see the detail they put into even just selecting the fruit and lavender sprigs for the top. I searched cake places on google and yelp and saw how people testified to cosmic cakery delivering both delicious and beautiful cakes. So I took a chance and walked into the store, spoke with John(who was sweet) and showed him exactly what I wanted for my cake. Last December my fiancé and I were on the hunt for a bakery to do our wedding cake. Since we live out of state, we had to do our wedding planning on our short trips to S.A. We called around to our top 5 bakeries in the area and asked for a quick tasting while we were in town. Brittany was so sweet at squeezing us in that day and whipping up our tasting in the 20 minutes from calling her to arriving at her bakery. She made our tasting so easy and delicious that we didn't need to look any further. Her cakes were light, fluffy and not sickeningly sweet. The day of our wedding we received so many compliments on the cake tasting fabulous and super moist- not to mention she nailed our "sprinkle" cake look. My only regret is not taking the leftover cake home! We had three different flavors and I wish I had tasted all of them but I was off mingling so I only tried one flavor.
