    Carne asada tacos

I just can't believe there is a full on cafe in a car dealership. What a great idea!! I had the carne asada tacos and they really give you a big portion of food for the money! Such a good deal! They have an awesome kids menu which is always a bonus for me. Lastly and most importantly, the guy working there was sooooo nice and helpful! Can't wait to come back and try their breakfast foods (which they serve all day).

Okay. Skeptical Me here. Wait? Hold on. Pause that thought... Inside of the Gregg Young Chevy Dealership, there is a made to order restaurant with all of my fave hot breakfast foods? Free coffee? A dynamite chef and staff, laughing...smiling...serving up all the best vibes and goodness. They're Going out of the way to substitute, ask questions, mix/matching fresh food...making it a good food destination. Ryan is a national treasure. Everyone around him amplifies the experience. It's like when a bunch of people hype each other up to start a barroom brawl...except instead of the brawl; they join together to make fresh sausage patties, and French toast sticks (even when it's not on the menu). Also, Clean. Relaxing. Delicious. Am I supposed to buy a car? I just got a new car! Do I have to lease something to get my food? I'm very confused by the location from that effect...but turns out. I could eat here every day, and nobody would even know my vehicle situation. Did I just do a credit check for a cappuccino?(joking) I never got approached by sales people. My daughter went snooping in the showroom without a peep. It's just a fun, energetic location, with spectacular food...that's got plenty of free parking. If someone owns a Chevy, please get your oil changed here and pay it forward for me. Everyone else. Go eat here! No excuses.

I was a little bit hesitant to go to a restaurant inside a car dealership, but we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and service. When you enter the car dealership (the cafe is in the middle so you have to walk in through the dealership), you do get a little bit jumped on by the car salespeople, but if you just let them know you're only there for the cafe, they will leave you alone LOL There are a few tables in the center of the cafe and a row of booths on each side. The decor is all car themed, with images of cars on the walls and the tables and chairs sort of matching those images with black, red, and white being the color scheme. We were with a large group, so we first sat down by the large picture windows that looks out to the lot of cars for sale. However, it did get a little hot, as it was summer and the sun was blasting through those windows. So we moved over to a few of the booths along the wall instead. You order up at the front, and they bring your food out to you. The cashier/server was very nice and offered suggestions and answered any questions we had about items. They let us know that they were out of pasta and steak at the moment, but we came later in the day so that was understandable. I ordered the A1 Burger which was delicious. The patty was expertly cooked and the A1 pepper sauce on it was a 10/10. I had extra A1 sauce on the side, and it was so good with accompanied side of fries. We also asked for some ranch on the side to dip our fries in (we are those people), and the ranch was extra tasty! They let us know it was a homemade ranch recipe they use with Hidden Valley seasoning. Definitely recommend! My husband had the Chile Verde Burrito, which our server suggested (because their chef used to be the chef at Hectors!). It was filled with super tender pork that basically melted in your mouth, and the tortilla covered in the chili verde was fabulous. At the end of the meal, our server brought us some complimentary peanut butter cookies, that were warm right out of the oven! It was a lovely sweet treat for the road and a really nice touch at the end of our meal. Don't let the car dealership location of this eatery scare you, definitely stop in if you're in the area!

"Garbage" - was very good. Great hash browns

I went here for the first time this week. I'd heard great things about this place, but it's inside the Chevy dealership so has been hesitant to come. We got front row parking (there's lots of parking) and entered the front of the dealership. It's just to the right and you can see it when you come in. It's a counter service diner and the manager or owner behind the counter is super helpful and friendly. They will customize anything and it's made to order. I got a mix of Gregg's Chicken enchiladas and a chicken enchilada with green pork chili. Really good. I liked the Gregg's enchilada a little better. My husband had a dish with "garbage" in the name, can't recall it exactly. It was very good also. The hashbrowns in it were great! I was very pleased with the meal. There were several people there waiting for their car to be serviced or perhaps working a deal on a car. However, if you are just there to eat no one approaches you there or on the way in. I wouldn't hesitate to return. It was great food, hot and fresh and great service.

The decor is minimal but I loved the different gold mirrors. When I ordered the cashier at the counter was all smiles and just a delight to talk to, she was super friendly. She was very helpful since it was the first time being there she explained everything so it was easy to make a good decision. I ordered a flight so I was able to sample for different signature flavors. My favorite was the Midnight Coconut and Crème Brûlée. I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone who is looking for a good coffee shop!

There are three flavors of smoothies to choose from: mango, wild berry, and strawberry. The Crescent Brûlée is a blend of caramel and vanilla, topped with whipped cream and a burnt sugar top. Both of the drinks we had tasted good. I'm not a big smoothie person--in fact, this is my first time ordering a smoothie in a long time--and I was very pleased with it. It was very smooth. Their menu is pretty extensive, in my opinion: coffee, tea, matcha, seasonal lattes, energy drinks, as well as some pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I also appreciated how easy it was to read their menu. I feel like a lot of the time in coffee shops, their menus are all over the place and you have to ask a lot of questions. This menu was nicely written. The shop has a very welcoming vibe, with different plants and displays. They also sell a few different things, such as clothes, sage, stickers, and different stones. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this coffee shop, and I will definitely be back.

This time I got the chicken fried steak, with biscuits, and frips on the side. I'll be honest that the chicken fried steak wasn't as good as last time-- it was more of a ground beef texture. The biscuits were absolutely amazing, and the perfect texture and taste to go with the gravy! The frips were also surprisingly good as I'm not a huge potato person! The burrito bowl is also something I wouldn't have ordered myself, but my friends loved it! Overall, it did have a good flavor, better than I expected. I love a pancakes come with real maple syrup! This is a huge plus for me, as it makes such a difference in my opinion. Overall, the price point for these made from scratch Meals is so good! This may be my favorite brunch in the city, as everything comes out piping hot, and incredibly fresh. Service is also amazing as well! The restaurant is small, with one back room that allows for a more intimate setting. There's also a patio, which I have not yet gotten to sit on with the cold weather! I would recommend making a reservation in advance since there is not a huge amount of seating.

Most of the dishes have sausage gravy, and you can't request not to include sausage gravy. Placed and order, server came back to our table to let us know that they can not make anything without sausage gravy if it's included. Makes me wonder if everything is pre-made and just warmed up. So I had to sit while my girlfriend had her breakfast. Update Please don't put words in my mouth. We ordered a latte. If the server chooses the side, the paying customer needs to be notified or asked. I asked it it was possible to have WITHOUT sausage gravy. I was told that was no problem. Then that they were unable to remove sausage gravy. I never spoke to you about that, again please don't out words into the customers mouth. I asked to remove the sausage gravy. I DO NOT eat pork. Removing sausage from the gravy would not total remove the pork from the gravy.... Think about how dumb that sounds. I can't believe you, who I did not speak to, would phrase it like that. Again I asked to have without Sausage gravy and the kitchen said no. After that, we noticed the charge for the latte. I said the menu said $5.75 was the small. Why did you charge for the large? Server said he would fix it. Maybe you should have the server reply as he took the order The description on the menu said sliced steak. It was not. If it is designed to be an open faced sandwich, maybe put that on the menu. When I order a sandwich that's what I expect. I was not expecting it to be sauggy to have to use a fork to eat a sandwich. This was our first time here, I did not know it was an open faced Sandwich. Rather than be surprised again and have to refuse food. We went somewhere we know how the food is served without surprises. And if we ask no sausage gravy, they kindly serve without sausage gravy. Having a well trained server could have made all the difference. I also though about ordering something else. I ask what kind of pancake syrup was available, we were told sugar and sugar fee. Picking up the server didn't understand the question, I ordered something else rather than try to get the server to understand what I meant. When I ordered hash browns, the server asked do I want them how it comes, or extra crispy? When I asked how do the hash browns normally come, the server said the "regular" way. I didn't want to make our server feel stupid, because I don't know what the regular way is either, so we went along with it and tried to make the best of it. You on the other hand fail in the area of emotional intelligence and I can't believe you would put words, creating your customers response is beyond anything I could imagine. WOW

The location on 204th Street in Gretna is clean, open, inviting ... but noisy. It's one of those warehouse-type settings where you really have to work at having a private conversation. Seating is expecially comfortable in the big chairs, but then you have to schootch them close together and lean in so you can hear each other, which is unfortunate. Granted, tables are set far apart, but this should be in addition to. Coffee was delicious, but the beignet bites were just so-so. Granted, one should not expect New Orleans beignets outside of New Orleans, but these little donut puffs had only a light dusting of powdered sugar (which I actually was thankful for because I wore black pants!), and there was a not-overly-pleasant surprise inside with an indistinguishable creamy substance that was sort of like the inside of a brown sugar cinnamon poptart, only less so. I hadn't been expecting that. The yogurt parfait was substantial and delicious. (The staff was friendly and helpful when making selections, but it didn't occur to me to ask about fillings.)
