I've only been using washers for 20 something years and this washer for a year! Genius suggestion, dude, considering I just love having you show up with your kid at random and NOT fix anything or TALK to me like I'm stupid and don't know how to operate a washer. Then, he calls and says...the motor is going out and overheating and suggested I replace the whole washer...hmmmm. So now my clothes have been sitting in still water almost 2 weeks and he is "getting back to me". Oh, and I returned home to him moving my detergent and laundry items to being placed on the ground so my entire washing area and parts of my back yard are dirty and will require cleaning...not to mention I will now have to replace clothes and cleaning items. I call around, and the Barstow Appliance came to my rescue. I don't know if this was the owner or an employee, but he was a lifesaver. He brought me a loaner refrigerator, so all my food didn't spoil, and yes the day before I went shopping, and bought a lot of meat from Purdy's. We arranged for Monday for the device tech to come out. Monday comes, I get a call saying good morning our tech is on his way. The tech was on time, professional, checked out what was wrong, gave me an estimate to fix the refrigerator, and my husband, and I decided to buy a new refrigerator as the cost to fix it was high. We go over to the store, and buy a very nice used refrigerator that was refurbished. The employees were fantastic. The following day the refrigerator was delivered, and they took the old refrigerator away. Again the 3 employees were very polite, and friendly. They left the loaner for me for another 3 days, and I called and asked them to pick up the liner refrigerator. What can I say? The service was phenomenal, all the empowered polite, friendly, and yes professional. I will definitely buy again from Barstow Appliance. Another note: I thought this was posted 5 months ago, and it wasn't, it was in the draft box. I still stand by everything I said above. Jose came and replaced a part, cleaned-out the inside of the Dryer and the Dryer Vent and left my Dryer feeling like it was new! The price was so reasonable and the repair was done quickly. Then I had Jose replace the Burnt Touchpad on a Kitchen Stove that was almost 12 years old. Because the Oven was so old he had to find the part and come back.
