    Delicious Fish and Chips

This is one of those places that you drive by for 20 years and always say we should stop there one day...well that's exactly what we did today . Came on a beautiful spring Saturday around 4:00 and grabbed 2 seats at the bar. The 3 bartenders were all friendly. Got 2 beers, 2 mixed drinks. onion rings, fish and chips, baked scrod and 2 side salads-$122 fair value for what we got! This place was crazy busy so I would try to get here earlier than the dinner crowd-every seat in the house was taken by 4:30.

    Italian sub with fries

My friend and I went hiking nearby and worked up an appetite. We were initially going to Wendy's but got lost along the way and eventually ended up at cornerstone pub. We were both in the mood for a sandwich, something casual and not too big. We agreed on the Italian sub, toasted, with mayonnaise (in addition to the vinegar and oil). While we waited for our order, we were invited to sit at the bar. The bartender was kind to offer us some water which we accepted. After about 10 minutes, the food was ready. For about $15, we got a sandwich that was about a foot long, cut in half, with some fries. I regret not asking for a dipping sauce for the fries. They were hot, crispy, and delicious on their own but ranch would've made them better. The sandwich was good. It had a good amount of meat, but it did come with a lot of banana peppers which might have been a bit overpowering. The toppings were fresh, and the cheese was perfectly melted. Between customer service and quality of food, I was very satisfied. They do have a big parking lot, and are very close to stepping falls for a good hike if you're up for it.

Cheers to finding Heady at The Cornerstone Pub

Expansive beer menu, full bar, and great menu. The Caesar salad is really good, not too heavily dressed. This can be tough to get into on the weekend, but it's worth a wait. Audrey is the kindest server, they're lucky to have her.

We have passed this place many times on getting to I95S headed to NYC. Often see many parked cars there. A neighbor recommended it as "the best burger in RI." As we were in the area for a volunteer event, we dropped in for lunch (this would not be a typical "let's go for a burger at Cornerstone Pub" as it is a 45-minute drive). Well, he could be right. Clearly one of the best burgers I have had in years. I had the classic cheeseburger "well done." Why it works is the potato bun that stays intact throughout your meal and that the ingredients (tomato, onion, etc.) are the right size. A very tasty burger. A choice of sides. Nice décor and great service. A HUGE selection of beers and cider on tap. Damages for 2 with beers was $60.

I was in this general area and did a yelp search and cornerstone pub had a high rating and the food photos looked good so we decided to visit As you walk in there is a very Large bar with plenty of seats and large TV's. Vanessa was our server My guest ordered a Pastrami Reuben with french fries, they said it was just OK $14 I ordered a Cobb salad and added grilled chicken,, salad was good $15 +$6 I got the feeling that this is a very popular place and everybody who visits comes back, There is plenty of seating inside and a large parking lot Worth visiting again

Nice spot, great food. A little loud but it is a pub. Lots of tvs, good atmosphere, ahi tuna salad was a very good price

Although this restaurant is located in a remote area, it's always busy and has a lively vibe. We prefer to sit at the enormous wraparound bar, and we rarely have to wait for a seat. The food quality is consistently good. They now offer a plethora of gluten free options as well. Worth the stop if you're in the area. It's located a mile or two off of 95 which makes it pretty convenient for people passing through the area.

Worst cheese steak of my life.
    Adam A.

Ordered a large cheese steak with extra cheese. Got a half filled grinder roll that was a medium at best. I like salt on my food but this tasted like a salt lick. Instead of extra cheese I got one slice of cheese draped over the top of dry and burnt shaved steak. Instead of $15 for this I could've spent half that for a cheese steak from Subway, and next time I will. I've seen enough.

With a friend's band on their entertainment schedule, I found the perfect opportunity to try it out. I was looking forward to both the music and the food and while the music was amazing, my overall experience didn't quite live up to expectations. Pro: - My friends and I were able to reserve a table ahead of time, which helped secure space to enjoy the show. We had an up close and personal view, and it definitely made for an immersive experience. Cons: - The space is way too small for live bands. The band was squeezed into a corner, and the closest table was practically on top of the lead singer. The small space in front of the band may have been meant for dancing, but it blocked the path to the bathrooms and food service. It felt cramped, loud, and uncomfortable. - The pub-height tables had tall chairs that were wobbly and unstable. I'm not a big person, but even I felt like I might tip over sitting there. Plus, the layout was so tight that we all had to get up every time someone wanted to wiggle their way to the bar or the bathroom. - Our waitress disappeared for long stretches of time, and service was painfully slow. We ended up having to go up to the bar for refills between courses because no one was around to help. - The food was disappointing. I ordered the house-made tavern chips (which look like potato chips on the website) but got plain tortilla chips instead. I also had two hot weiners, and while they had all the right toppings, the flavor was all wrong. The meat sauce tasted burnt, and they were completely overloaded with celery salt. It was honestly the worst I've ever had. Others at the table felt underwhelmed with their selections as well - the quesadilla was soggy and the appetizer sampler was just okay. - The bathroom locks were unreliable. The lock on the door failed halfway through my visit, and it took several attempts to get the button to work again, which made for a pretty awkward experience. Given this visit, I'm unlikely to return. If I do, it'd have to be for a great band, and I'll definitely eat somewhere else beforehand.

We just had another fabulous dinner at Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant--our second time dining here…read moresince last fall, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We arrived a little early for our 4:00 p.m. reservation, and the place was already packed. While we waited by the bar, a very nice waitress took our drink order--a lemon drop martini, beautifully crafted, well-balanced, and pleasantly strong. We were seated shortly after and, of course, ordered another. (Both times, I took several sips before remembering to take a photo!) Our waitress, Mikela, was truly lovely--sincere, sweet, and very courteous. She was attentive throughout the meal without ever being intrusive, which made the experience feel relaxed and effortless. At the end, I told her I wished I could give her 6 stars, but Yelp only allows 5. For dinner, we both ordered the seared rare ahi tuna steak. I had mine with garlic bread, while my husband chose mashed potatoes. I also added the $9.95 salad buffet, which is such a great deal--you definitely won't leave hungry. I especially love their buffet-style salad bar, which offers nearly every option one could want. Both of our ahi tuna steaks were fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Once again, I dug into my tuna before remembering to take a photo! We finished the meal with a cheesecake to share--another delicious ending to a wonderful dinner. We're already planning our next visit--there are still so many dishes and drinks we'd love to try.

The selection offered on their menu was excellent, and our server, Melanie, was just as great. She…read moreprovided a wonderful dining experience for our group. We were a party of seven, including three kids, and didn't even need a separate kids' menu--the options worked perfectly for everyone. The only drawback was the reservation experience. When we called ahead, we were told they were fully booked, yet when we walked in, there were multiple empty tables and we were seated promptly. That part was a bit odd.
