I recently moved to Oahu and being retired military I have chronic back/sciatic pain from 2 herniated discs. This causes problems and effects my quality of life. I tried chiropractors in the mainland and they were hit and miss at best. I searched the internet when we got here on Oahu and found CCC. I saw the reviews and decided to give them a chance, and I am glad I did. Pros * The staff, from the front desk to the chiropractors, are super friendly and informative. * Scheduling was easy and treatment was affordable. * They offer initial treatments with an X-ray and followup X-ray to show progress - I love that its evidenced based. * They offer follow up/maintenance care plans. * They have a variety of payment options. Cons - I haven't found any. With that being said, I'm glad I found CCC. Thanks to all the staff in helping better my quality of life, especially with all the things to do here on Oahu. read more

I made an appointment here for my boyfriend. We had a great consultation. Dr NJ was so helpful and informative! When we came back for the actual adjustment I was surprised that he greeted both of us by name. It was so personal I loved it! Highly recommend this place to all read more

Cornerstone Community Chiropractic - X-ray recap - Chiropractors Near Me - Ewa Beach, Hawaii

I'm not usually one to post reviews, but Dr Aki and his team are the best and deserve a shoutout. They truly have your best interests in mind and desire to see you thrive in life. I've been coming here for over a year initially presenting with neck pain and found that a lot of my health issues that I thought were completely unrelated to chiropractic care were easily addressed with regular adjustments and lifestyle changes. In addition to relief from my neck pain, I've also experienced improved digestion, a stronger immune system, better mobility, and progression toward hormonal balance. If you are considering chiropractic care, do yourself a favor and contact Cornerstone Community Chiropractic. read more

Cornerstone Chiropractic is the best of the best. I've been getting seen regularly for chiropractic care for the past 3 years, and throughout my 2 pregnancies. Since coming here I have a stronger immune system, have noticed a decrease in headaches, and realized that having back pain/ neck pain is not something I have to live with. It has helped with pregnancy aches and also getting my hips aligned and baby in the proper position for a smooth birth. They are extremely gentle and knowledgeable about what they do. I have since brought in my husband, and daughter (since she was a newborn) who also get seen regularly. Now even my extended family and friends come to see the Docs here! Even though we live on the other side of the island I wouldn't go anywhere else. The front staff is extremely accommodating and are always super helpful with working with my schedule. If you are thinking of seeing a chiropractor just go ahead and call to schedule a consultation for your entire family. Your health and quality of life will definitely improve. So thankful for my Cornerstone family! read more

I had unbearable sciatica for months and finally only when I started my treatments at Cornerstone did the pain subside. I had never been to a chiropractor before Cornerstone. My experience was professional, affordable and most importantly successful. read more

Dr Aki is informative, and his energy is positive. After doing my first initial visit, I was hopeful that he would be able to help with my pain. At my second visit he explained what and why I was having pains. We went over treatment and he explained EVERYTHING throughly. After that visit and getting adjustments, I felt relief. I also learned that feeling better won't happen over night, it's a process. Dr Aki and his staff are amazing, helpful and very friendly. read more

It took me awhile to write this review but after seeing some of the comments I felt I should share my experience. I was experiencing lower back and neck pain and made my appointment based on the reviews seen here. Unfortunately, my experience is in the minority but very real. First off, I don't like feeling like I am at a used car lot but that is the experience I had . All I wanted was to get adjusted (I have been to chiropractors before) but it turned into a long appointment with xrays and a long sales pitch . I cannot remember the exact price but it was upwards to 500 dollars for a plan to help with my issues. It was awkward and Dr. Chad left the room so i " could think about it", I agreed to pay the amount he quoted and to his plan. After several visits and not feeling much difference I continued to show up for the adjustments anyway. However, after one of my visits with Dr. Chad I ended up with the most HORRIBLE lower back pain ever! It was so bad that I had a hard time walking and had to go to the doctor where she said it was probably due to the chiropractor and the adjustment. I ended up on pain meds to help with the pain. I ended up calling the office and explaining that I wanted the remainder of my money back (balance) and they said before that happened I needed to come in. It ended up being another awkward sales pitch where he offered for me to see someone else. No way! I wasted a lot of money and time there! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Had the pleasure of working with Dr. Mikey, Dr. Sean and Dr. Aki, all who I fully trust. I had been having back problems for a while and there wasn't anything that seemed to work. Coming to Cornerstone Chiropractic has helped so much as their theories and methods are methodical and really works. It's really neat to go in and see your x-Rays and have your doctors point out everything their working on so you have a visual of what's happening. read more

Amazing, quality care! I came in with a neck pain that would never go away. Thinking a Chiropractor wouldn't work, but I had no other options. I came in and did a plan to help my pain. After a few sessions my pain was gone. Had this pain for maybe 4 years. Dr. Aki is awesome and friendly. Great guy and his staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!!! God Bless!! read more

I have been going to cornerstone for years and refuse to go any where else. Dr Aki has significantly impacted/changed my life for the better. Prior to Cornerstone I suffered from extensive pain (neck, back, and ligaments) on a daily basis, and thought I would just deal with it for the rest of my life. With just a few visits I was in the right direction. I now go for quick adjustments and maintenance. Highly recommended. read more

I have seen and got adjusted by all 3 doctors that work in this clinic regularly and also have never seen a chiropractor before. Before my care I was struggling with tons of back, neck, and leg pain. Being completely honest, since I started receiving care I have never felt better. Not only do they take care of you physically they take the extra step by taking care of you mentally. I do have from time to time some aches and pains but that's why I come in and get seen because I know they'll take the best care of me. I even recommend this type of care for people with hardly any pain to begin with. read more

Dr. Aki is highly knowledgeable and very helpful in creating lifelong healthy living habits.

I always look forward to going in to get an adjustment here. Every time I walk in, the staff is super friendly. It's my first experience with a chiropractor but even before my first adjustment, Dr. Mikey took her time to educate me on the process, what to expect, and what I need to work on. She even asked what some of my goals for getting these adjustments are I've been going once a week for a few weeks now and I'm definitely walking taller than I was when I came in. One of those goals that Dr. Mikey asked about was being able to meditate on the ground without any back support. I don't feel much discomfort as I used to and although I'm not at my absolute end goal, I'm working towards it and the adjustments have definitely helped a bunch. I also want to note how big of a heart the staff has for their community. Their Instagram game is on point with the educational videos, encouraging people to be active but also caring for the community. One of these post was a notice for a beach clean up at Hau Bush in 'Ewa Beach and quite a few people came out to help. I love that they have a heart to give back in many different ways and if I could, I'd give them a 100 star review. My hats off to the Cornerstone Ohana. If you're looking for a chiropractor who will educate you, treat you like family, and has a big heart to help others, Cornerstone is the place to go!! read more

All I can say is wow. I am military and found this place like 3 days before I left. . Amazing. Here are a few reasons. My wife recommended them and she literally could barely walk. After 3 visits she was able to stroll around waikiki and spend all of my money again. The receptionist got me some water and was very sweet. The kids area would have been awesome if I would have brought my kids. Dr. Chad took an X-ray of me and and checked the temps of my spine for agitation (I think, lol) The adjustment was not too rough and scary like it can be. I will update on how I feel in a few days. Thank you! read more

I can't say enough about how much Dr. Aki has helped me! I've reviewed Cornerstone Chiropractic before and wanted to add an update. It has now been months since I have experienced any back pain -- and I am so grateful after suffering with it for years! But for several months, I had pain and swelling behind my knee from riding my horse. I was contemplating all the steps I would need to go through my primary care doctor... to get an xray... to get a referral to someone orthopedic etc. So I kept putting off pursuing help. Then, I mentioned it to Dr. Aki - and he immediately assessed a mechanical issue with my kneecap; he adjusted it - and the pain and swelling subsided virtually immediately. Amazing... truly amazing. It's been days and my knee is still quite happy with it's adjustment and I don't see a need to go through all the steps mentioned above for medical care. I'm soooo grateful! read more

This review is long overdue. My entire family has been seeing Dr. Aki for our chiropractic care for many months now....probably coming up on a year. Every so often I come across a business that is truly committed to delivering excellent customer service in a clean, pleasant and welcoming environment. This is one of those businesses. I'm not at all surprised that they needed to expand their office space over the past year. Chiropractic care has been a part of my life to maintain good health over the past 20+ years. I've been to many chiropractors during that time. Dr. Aki is a true professional and applies chiropractic principles I had not experienced previously. Also, he and his staff are committed to educating the community about how to live happier, healthier and more fulfilled lives, through their monthly seminars/workshops. I like that! I wholeheartedly recommend Cornerstone Community Chiropractic for anyone on Oahu looking for great and professional chiropractic care. read more

I can't fully explain how amazing this place is. This was my first chiropractic appointment ever and I have researched for years before deciding on coming here. I chose Cornerstone for the sole purpose of them doing x-rays before ever doing an adjustment. The initial appointment was very informative where they talk about YOU. After your x-rays, they see you again to go over your results and you start from there. You really get what you pay for here and it's worth the investment! The staff is very friendly and they really knows his stuff! My doctor helped me manage my headaches from having them 2-3 times a week to about once every 2 week now. If you are a migraine sufferer like I am, you would understand how much of a relief this is! I will always recommend this place to anyone! read more

We love Cornerstone Chiropractic! My husband has been going since the end of last year, seeking to relieve some back pain that he's had for a very long time. He's been to many doctors who recommended pain meds, but no real solution for the problem. After going through a treatment plan and getting regular adjustments from the doctors at Cornerstone, my husbands pain is finally gone! He now loves getting his weekly cracks as he likes to call it. The staff is also very accommodating and everyone is extremely kind :) Thank you Cornerstone! read more

These folks are the real deal. First thing you have to appreciate is, their business model. Cornerstone Chiropractic takes X-rays before they treat you. How can you adjust someone without clearly knowing what you're adjusting. The staff is friendly and professional. They open early as heck (6 am) which I love because I can get in and out and feel better all before I need to head to work. I feel better after every treatment. read more

Dr. Aki is an amazing chiropractor and cares for his patients. I was having chest pains in my peck area that affected my shoulder and collar bone. I went through therapy and X-ray and found I had some arthritis in my collar bone. I don't thing that was the problem but my collar bone was sticking out much more than normal. Dr. Aki push down on it very hard to put it back in place. It felt better immediately and after a week it felt so much better with very minimal pain. Now i have no pain and my bone is not protruding like it was. Praise God for Dr. Aki. read more

I went in for back pain and found much more than I expected- a curve in my spine. Dr. Nick explained the plan of treatment very well and walked us through every one of my adjustments. Every visit with Dr. Nick was like going to a friends house. We're in our second month and I personally have seen an improvement in my curve and the way I feel. I think the best one is, I can fall asleep instead of tossing and turning all night. No headaches, and a whole better posture. Also, I saw Dr. Aki when I needed to be seen for an urgent matter and he too is amazing. Can't stop there! The ladies at the front desk are also AMAZING! read more
