By far the best chiropractor we found!! & trust me when I say we been through a bunch of chiropractors! From the outside and the area this place is located, you would not think it was worth trying. But it IS!! I have been waxing my eyebrows across the street of this office for years and never once did I think that place was worth a second look. Boy was I WRONG!! It truly is a hidden GEM!! The inside of the office is very clean & sleek. The front desk assistant is very sweet & helpful, the room where you get adjusted is very professional, clean and it literally calms your body. Great atmosphere!! My husband is 6'1 and on the heavier built side. Most chiropractors have a hard time adjusting him but not Dr. Raquel!! Although he is a slender man, he is by far the BEST we seen!! He was able to adjust my husband giving him instant relief!! I too was adjusted and felt so relieved after just my first visit. We are now regular patients and so happy we found this place!!! Highly recommended!! You won't be disappointed!! read more

I've seen Dr. Raquel quite a few times now over the past few years and he always goes above and beyond.

Hands down they been taking care of me since the early 2000 and been going back till this day and always get those good adjustments in after a good long week of work mahalos ABC chiropractor for having my back read more

My back and shoulders were in pain due to being out of adjustment. Dr.Raquel was gentle and was able to get me back into alignment!

I need to say... This place has been nothing but amazing! I was very skeptical about getting work done on my back from a chiropractor. My experience first time I went here was nothing but extremely gentle care. Dr. Raquel and staff made me feel more than comfortable being my first time. He made sure that he understood what was going on and the issues I was having were his top priority. It would be best to make an appointment but they also take walk ins. The location is a little hidden and the office itself is not big, but it is accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, especially construction workers. My husband does drywall and he always has body pain and gets a lot of knots on his shoulders. When he comes here, he feels like a brand new person leaving the building. Don't be hesitant and book your appointment! read more

*2020 Update* I've been seeing Doc for a decade and referred many people to his practice. He has an excellent knowledge of chiropractic methods along with other holistic approaches to a healthier body. Dr. Raquel is among the best Chiropractors locally. I've been seeing him for nearly 6 years and he knows how to properly adjust my neck and back from previous injuries. read more

Dr. Raquel is amazing at what he does. My mom comes to get adjusted all the time & whenever I'm home from Las Vegas, we come to see him to get my back adjusted too. My fiancé is currently getting seen. He was little nervous since this his first time ever seeing a chiropractor, but Dr. Raquel is great in helping you relax. Can I mention that the room you get treated in is AC too! Can't help but fall asleep after getting adjusted. The receptionist Liz is always the sweetest when my mom takes me here. There's lots of parking too. Highly highly recommend this place if you're looking for a Chiro to go to. It's a must to visit when I'm back on the island. I called at 9 in the morning and they were able to take us in on the same day at 11! read more

Dr. Racquel is a favorite drop-in location for us, especially after a long flight and many travels. He is always willing to help and make necessary adjustments; it's also helpful that his staff is wonderful and attentive to details. They cater to client's schedules and our ohana is grateful to know and be able to get adjusted by him, especially while visiting home. He utilizes natural techniques and advises on how to take great care until the next time we are in town. Mahalo Dr. Raquel and staff! read more

Definitely one of the BEST chiropractors on island. I'm so lucky that he's also approved by the VA so I am able to regularly see him for chronic back and knee pain. He is able to spend more time with you and he never just rushes in and out. 100% recommend him especially to all the Veterans. The process is easier than other clinics and they are able to coordinate care/insurance efficiently. read more

I've gone to a number of different Chiropractors for over 20 years now. Recently, I've had the privilege of receiving care from Dr. Raquel at ABC. Very quickly, he got me from hardly being able to walk or stand due to an injury and overwhelming pain, to completely pain free and resuming my normal activities. He's very friendly, knowledgeable and very effective at what he does. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns, answer questions and offer great advice. He's also taken care of several other family members now, each with great experiences as well. Thank you for everything Dr. Raquel! You have a heart of gold! read more

I have a work injury that affects my neck and lower back. Instead of taking medication, I opted for massage and chiropractic treatment. I've had massage and adjustments prior to my work injury so i requested Dr George Raquel and his staff for my treatment plan because I knew I'd receive the care and service I need for my injury. The hands-on massage followed by adjustments is exactly what I need for my road to recovery. They make me feel welcome and comfortable and I always leave feeling better! I'm very thankful for Dr Raquel and his staff! read more

I have been coming to Dr. Raquel for 3 years now. I found this hidden gem from a friends recommendation. I come here to get my back and neck readjusted. Luckily, his office accepts my HMSA plan. This is a life saver and costs me only $12 a visit. Dr. Raquel is very friendly and open with his clients. If you have a question he is bound to answer it with his years of experience and education. Liz, the receptionist, is warm and welcoming. She makes your visit also feel personable. She is well educated in Dr. Raquel's procedures and makes for a good conversation. I would recommend Dr. Raquel and his staff. read more

Dr Raquel is a very nice and kind Chiro Dr. He is very friendly. His clinic is very clean. Even his staff very friendly .

I've been coming to ABC for the entirety of my pregnancy, I schedule my appointments bi-weekly and with "Monica". She does my full body massages while Dr. Raquel does all the realignments. My husband schedules his appointments with Monica as well but he has her concentrate on his shoulders and back. She is awesome at adjusting the intensity of the massage to what you can handle. For instance, my husband likes deep tissue; therefore, he's more adapt to having harder pressure on him during a massage and I on the other hand enjoy lighter massages concentrating on my lower back and legs because of all the weight I've gained during my pregnancy. I didn't know you could still get realigned all the way up to the day of labor, so I will probably be seeing both Dr. Raquel and Monica until I give birth and of course afterwards as well. I have recommended ABC to my family and friends. It's a small facility but very functional. Dr. Raquel offers a variety of things like paternity testing, drug testing, hormonal diet supplements, etc. read more

You would think with all this time being closed they would use it to clean their office. The place is filthy, all the chiropractors ointments are open with the lids off dust and oils everywhere. Old dirty looking equipment. You know you have a real problem when the doctors Cole Haan shoes are cleaner than his medical facility. Gross. I will never go here again and you shouldn't either. Antiquated and unsanitary. read more

This place is amazing! so soothing for the soul. Liz is over all a sweet and educated person, She has the best customer service ever. I was nervous about the whole idea for colonics but Liz made me feel relaxed and calm, she prop me for what to expect. This was my first time for chronics so it felt weird at first and I wanted to give and leave, but Liz and Dr Raquel Talked me out of it they was so calm and understanding about the whole situation, and I pulled through with their help. My first ever experience was amazing and refreshing and I would recommend this place to anyone. Looking at going back soon! read more

Hmm where do I start. I am not going to bother telling my entire journey. I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my appointment at Amee Nail Salon. Which is right across from ABC Chiropractor. The Holy Spirit told me to call and inquire. I immediately did. I was looking for something specific. Spinal decomposition. If you watch alot of YouTube videos about spinal decomposition you will know what in talking about. I had L5 S1 microdiscptamy surgery. Having a decompression helps with sciatic pain. I decided to call and inquire. Dr. Raquel lovely office manager explains the different type of treatments that are available in specific to spinal decomposition. I was sold. I booked an appointment. When I came in for my appointment the following week I got great pleasure to meet his office Manager and of corse Dr. Racquel. He gave me the decompression that I needed just like the youtub YouTube videos. Its hard to find a Chiropractor in Hawaii that does advanced Chiropractor care like the mainland. I'm glad that I was promoted to call. I am now a weekly customer that comes in for fine tune every week. Throughout my visits with Dr. Raquel my husband now see him for a accident that he was in. And he's a Christian man. Which Is the most important thing to me. Thank you, Dr. And to all your staff for taking care of us. read more

I am proud to recommend Dr. Raquel to yelpers. He's hip on natural path methods to release blockage that cause disease. He'll educate you on foods, detox and non medicinal remedies. My family and I started seeing him for colonics (colon hydrotherapy) over a year ago. He offers patients a class ll open system table which is the best possible Colonic Irrigation method out there. The space is clean, private and efficient. I've also had THE BEST massages from various practitioners in his office. This mans standards are always kept high. I'll soon post an update on his adjustments as a chiropracter when i get the nerve to get it done. read more

So a few months ago I had really severe back pain went to my doctor and all he did was give me meds. On day 3 of my back pain I was in so much pain that I went to see this chiropractor (I had gone to this doc when I was pregant and it really helped) , well low and behold he was scolding me for waiting so long. This was actually more serious then a regular back pain. He explained to me my muscles were so tight it wasn't getting any oxygen. Ugh! But did he work his magic! I went to see him every couple of days within the first week and a half and I was doing so much better w/o the meds. Now I maintain a regular appointment to relieve my back pressure and also to realign my spine. Doc does good work! read more

My last visit here was upsetting and this update review is over due. Idk what was going on? Maybe staffing issue or running behind. My massage guy was running behind 15 min late. And that was cut out of my 1 hr massage time. I felt also rushed by the chiropractor. 1 bad visit and that was it for me not planning on returning. read more

Awesome work, very affordable prices, and freindly customer service. Not to mention a beautiful freshwater tank inside

Dr Raquel helped my dad when he was in pain. We were on vacation from Portland Oregon. He and his staff were amazing, caring and very compassionate about helping my elderly father get out of pain. If he were located in Portland Oregon we would choose him over any other provider! Thank you so very much! read more

I can't thank Dr. G. Raquel and staff enough. I was recently involved in an auto accident while on vacation in Hawaii. Unfortunately I incurred neck and back injuries. Dr. Raquel and staff were able to relive a lot of my pain with his treatments. Use these guys, they are Pros! read more

Dr. George is amazing! He goes out of his way to make sure that your are comfortable and explains each procedure that he does.

Went to have my neck adjusted and it was absolutely the best experience I have ever had. The Doctor was very gentle and my headache ceased immediately. The pressure in my head was gone within seconds. I also had a colonic there when I had some stomach issues because it was my first one. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. The Dr and the assistant made me feel at ease and my stomach issues went away afterwards. I felt back to my old self within a couple hours. The staff was super polite and helpful. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and made both visits a great experience. I had brought my child to one of the visits and the lady at the front desk was amazing with him keeping him entertained during my visit. read more

I actually found this business when I searched for a colon hydrotherapy clinic under another business name. So I was confused when I first arrived that it was not advertised as a colon hydrotherapy clinic or as a medical spa, only a Chiropractic clinic. The D.C. didn't not appear to be in, only an assistant. She was very nice and the clinic was also really nice and comfortable. I rated this 4 stars. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would say 3.5. Although she was very nice, I felt the assistant at the desk (not sure if she's certified and happens to be filling the receptionist position collaterally or not.) was too outspoken. I'm also talkative but phone conversations in a professional setting should be kept discreet and personal opinions towards the caller should be withheld. I would even recommend some background noise b/c I imagine it would be hard to be confidential while costumers are THAT close. Just my opinion. I was hoping that an actual licensed colonic hydrotherapist would be on hand to oversee the process. (They usually have a lot insight they can add about your diet and digestive health. Often they will coach you when to hold and when to release and can massage your abdomen to assist your releases. etc.) and I think without that insight many first time "goers" might not think its necessary to come back, especially after your first time. It was only after a few years of reading up on it, that I was finally able convince myself (also, I relapsed on junk food and was pretty sick after) that I should go. So unfortunately, there was not a hydrotherapist on hand. However, I think this is a good place for people who might be very modest or have never done this before. Its very simple and it was explained to me how to start the process on my own. The young lady who checked me in peaked in on me a handful of times to make sure that everything was going normally and would leave me to relax and continue. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I felt amazing afterwards so that's proof that it works. I was late for my appointment but I was at the office for maybe a little more than an hour but the session was only 45 minutes. I think it was mentioned that they also accommodate massage therapy and dermatology needs as well. read more

So I messed up my back doing some Kettle Bell swings at a weight that I shouldnt have been doing. I need to just acknowledge that I am, in fact, an old and week man. Anyway, I tweaked my back big time. It felt like someone took a sledghammer and slammed my ribs. I made a same day appointment the Dr. took me in that afternoon. After I explained my symptoms he put me on some electo-massage therapy. Then he went to work on my ailments. I felt great after. I thought he would tell to come back the next for further treatement but he informed that I should feel better the next day and wouldnt need to come back. He even recommended that I come back every few months for maintanence but nothing else since I was young and healthy. Surprising since most Chiropractic clinics try to get you to come every week....and the price was crazy cheap too. If you live in the Ewa area..see this guy. He works magic, is friendly and reasonably priced read more

I love Dr. George! Besides his stunning features! Always there to help whether its for myself, a friend or a family member he always makes times to alleviate the pain. My bf for instance, had his first back injury during work, he suffered through the pain until he finished work and picked me up from my work. I immediately drove to Dr. George's office hoping to catch him before he closes. He took my bf in right away and did his chiropractic magic. Within 5 days the bf was feeling top shape again. My grandma had hip pain and was having difficulty walking. I made an appointment for her with Dr. George, she went in and came out without a cane and walked again with no pain. I recommend him to anyone experiencing any back pain. He also provides paternity tests, drug test, workman compensation cases, and colon cleansing (although I haven't tried it myself, I heard its very beneficial!). read more

Thanks yelpers. I was visiting O'ahu from CA and fell asleep on the airplane ride and tweaked my neck. Dr. Raquel was nice, funny and got the job done. Kept the pain away till the plane ride home. Didn't take my outstate insurance, but honored the discount my insurance gives. Mahalo. read more

Went here twice and I like it a lot. Staff is friendly. Just what I was looking for, close to home small and personal. I liked the other place I was going to but I felt like there wasn't enough one on one time with the chiropractor I had and didn't accept my insurance and too far just to get adjusted.... Dr Raquel is great and direct and easy to talk to. He does more than what my previous chiropractor did. Im happy that I found a place closer to home. And stoked to have a chiropractor that cares and takes his time. I was diagnosed with asthma and I've never had it before and Dr. Raquel did a certain adjustment with a towel or some wrap around my head and it helped me breathe a lot better! Totally feel the difference!! Mahalo! I was referred by my husbands best friend.. and I highly recommend this place to anyone! Dr. Raquel, what can I not say about him!!!! He's personable, professional, and down right honest! He will make sure that you are taken care of from head to toe!!!! He has been so awesome trying to accompany us in time esp when it's an emergency. I was so shocked on how he loosened, massaged, used a machine, and stretch, and finally the heavenly cracking!!! Ahhhhmazing! After my Chiro work I would be so relaxed that my body felt like it's in a trance. Sleepless nights turn to beautiful sleep! Check him out, Dr. Raquel is honest and knowledgable. Dr. Raquel has been caring for my husband and I for the almost 2 years that we've been here on the island, as we are a military family. We have referred him many times to other military members as well. Dr. Raquel is kind, straight forward, warm, caring, friendly and has a light hearted sense of humor. We have lived in many different places and have seen several chiropractors in several different states. Dr. Raquel is a hands on practitioner. He utilizes his own strength, gravity and body weight to apply the necessary adjustment. He keeps his costs low, and is able to pass those savings on to his clients. He is compassionate and works with individuals in pain who have low income and/or no insurance that will cover chiropractic. He operates on his own with the help of his office manager Shar, who is equally wonderful. Dr. Raquel offers advice to those interested in healthy living, without pushing it on you. He has a sterile colonic room for those who believe in using gentle sterile water as a way to help the body cleanse. He has massage therapists who work in his office as well. So many good things to say. He deserves more than 5 stars. read more
