By far the best chiropractor we found!! & trust me when I say we been through a bunch of chiropractors! From the outside and the area this place is located, you would not think it was worth trying. But it IS!! I have been waxing my eyebrows across the street of this office for years and never once did I think that place was worth a second look. Boy was I WRONG!! It truly is a hidden GEM!! The inside of the office is very clean & sleek. The front desk assistant is very sweet & helpful, the room where you get adjusted is very professional, clean and it literally calms your body. I've been coming to ABC for the entirety of my pregnancy, I schedule my appointments bi-weekly and with "Monica". She does my full body massages while Dr. Raquel does all the realignments. My husband schedules his appointments with Monica as well but he has her concentrate on his shoulders and back. She is awesome at adjusting the intensity of the massage to what you can handle. For instance, my husband likes deep tissue; therefore, he's more adapt to having harder pressure on him during a massage and I on the other hand enjoy lighter massages concentrating on my lower back and legs because of all the weight I've gained during my pregnancy. I didn't know you could still get realigned all the way up to the day of labor, so I will probably be seeing both Dr. Raquel and Monica until I give birth and of course afterwards as well. Hmm where do I start. I am not going to bother telling my entire journey. I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my appointment at Amee Nail Salon. Which is right across from ABC Chiropractor. The Holy Spirit told me to call and inquire. I immediately did. I was looking for something specific. Spinal decomposition. If you watch alot of YouTube videos about spinal decomposition you will know what in talking about. I had L5 S1 microdiscptamy surgery. Having a decompression helps with sciatic pain. I decided to call and inquire. Dr. Raquel lovely office manager explains the different type of treatments that are available in specific to spinal decomposition. I was sold. I booked an appointment. When I came in for my appointment the following week I got great pleasure to meet his office Manager and of corse Dr. Racquel. He gave me the decompression that I needed just like the youtub YouTube videos. Its hard to find a Chiropractor in Hawaii that does advanced Chiropractor care like the mainland. So a few months ago I had really severe back pain went to my doctor and all he did was give me meds. On day 3 of my back pain I was in so much pain that I went to see this chiropractor (I had gone to this doc when I was pregant and it really helped) , well low and behold he was scolding me for waiting so long. This was actually more serious then a regular back pain. He explained to me my muscles were so tight it wasn't getting any oxygen. Ugh! But did he work his magic! I went to see him every couple of days within the first week and a half and I was doing so much better w/o the meds. Went to have my neck adjusted and it was absolutely the best experience I have ever had. The Doctor was very gentle and my headache ceased immediately. The pressure in my head was gone within seconds. I also had a colonic there when I had some stomach issues because it was my first one. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. The Dr and the assistant made me feel at ease and my stomach issues went away afterwards. I felt back to my old self within a couple hours. The staff was super polite and helpful. I actually found this business when I searched for a colon hydrotherapy clinic under another business name. So I was confused when I first arrived that it was not advertised as a colon hydrotherapy clinic or as a medical spa, only a Chiropractic clinic. The D.C. didn't not appear to be in, only an assistant. She was very nice and the clinic was also really nice and comfortable. I rated this 4 stars. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would say 3.5. Although she was very nice, I felt the assistant at the desk (not sure if she's certified and happens to be filling the receptionist position collaterally or not.) was too outspoken. I'm also talkative but phone conversations in a professional setting should be kept discreet and personal opinions towards the caller should be withheld. I would even recommend some background noise b/c I imagine it would be hard to be confidential while costumers are THAT close. Just my opinion. I was hoping that an actual licensed colonic hydrotherapist would be on hand to oversee the process. (They usually have a lot insight they can add about your diet and digestive health. Often they will coach you when to hold and when to release and can massage your abdomen to assist your releases. etc.) and I think without that insight many first time "goers" might not think its necessary to come back, especially after your first time. It was only after a few years of reading up on it, that I was finally able convince myself (also, I relapsed on junk food and was pretty sick after) that I should go. So unfortunately, there was not a hydrotherapist on hand. However, I think this is a good place for people who might be very modest or have never done this before. Its very simple and it was explained to me how to start the process on my own. The young lady who checked me in peaked in on me a handful of times to make sure that everything was going normally and would leave me to relax and continue. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I felt amazing afterwards so that's proof that it works. I was late for my appointment but I was at the office for maybe a little more than an hour but the session was only 45 minutes. I think it was mentioned that they also accommodate massage therapy and dermatology needs as well. read more

So I messed up my back doing some Kettle Bell swings at a weight that I shouldnt have been doing. I need to just acknowledge that I am, in fact, an old and week man. Anyway, I tweaked my back big time. It felt like someone took a sledghammer and slammed my ribs. I made a same day appointment the Dr. took me in that afternoon. After I explained my symptoms he put me on some electo-massage therapy. Then he went to work on my ailments. I felt great after. I thought he would tell to come back the next for further treatement but he informed that I should feel better the next day and wouldnt need to come back. He even recommended that I come back every few months for maintanence but nothing else since I was young and healthy. I love Dr. George! Besides his stunning features! Always there to help whether its for myself, a friend or a family member he always makes times to alleviate the pain. My bf for instance, had his first back injury during work, he suffered through the pain until he finished work and picked me up from my work. I immediately drove to Dr. George's office hoping to catch him before he closes. He took my bf in right away and did his chiropractic magic. Within 5 days the bf was feeling top shape again. My grandma had hip pain and was having difficulty walking. I made an appointment for her with Dr. George, she went in and came out without a cane and walked again with no pain. Went here twice and I like it a lot. Staff is friendly. Just what I was looking for, close to home small and personal. I liked the other place I was going to but I felt like there wasn't enough one on one time with the chiropractor I had and didn't accept my insurance and too far just to get adjusted....
