My wife and I contracted their services after living with an enormous gap in our driveway into our garage, and a pretty nasty tripping hazard on the walkway to our front door. As a working professional I will include the caveat that all results may vary, I certainly don't want to make any guarantees on Ross' behalf, but he was able to provide an estimate via email based on pictures and measurements, and found a time slot for us within a couple weeks after accepting the bid, which was vastly more competitive than other service providers we contacted. This saved us time and money from having to clip out of work early to meet more contractors who served up ludicrous bids with a straight face. I can't speak to the lasting power of mudjacking services in general, and ours has only been in place for a day so far. But Mud Masters uses a clay+concrete mixture to lift concrete in comparison to other providers who might use a sand slurry or polyurethane foam which in my mind doesn't seem as stable, long term. I know others who've had their concrete leveled with foam injections and they just didn't last. I am cautiously optimistic with Mud Masters' choice of materials. Finally, the service. It's a common thread across all service providers, they don't show up when expected, or the appointment window is so huge and vague that it doesn't really matter. Not so, here. Ross gave me an hour window when he and his crew were coming, and they arrived on-time as expected. They were swift, efficient, and they clearly knew their stuff. In advance of their service, Ross gave me a heads up on a couple things I could do to ensure our property was ready for their work, and they knocked the whole thing out in what I imagine is pretty quick for what they do. As for "what they do," my wife and I are both quite pleased with the results. Have a look at the before and after pics attached to the review here and judge for yourself, but Mud Masters lifted our garage entry slabs a full three inches to meet the garage. No more off-roading to get into the garage. No more "running starts". Not pictured, our front walkway which was lifted a full seven inches to remove the tripping hazard and level out the stairs to our front door. Even our little dog is pleased, she doesn't have to make the spectacular leaps she used to do to get back inside. This is a lot of words to say Mud Masters Concrete Leveling is the real deal. I hired Detroit Concrete Leveling to raise back patio and side walkway concrete to address drainage…read moreissues. Their work in those areas was acceptable. During the quote, I showed the salesperson, Lawrence, two sinking areas in my front sidewalk. He said they would raise those areas at no additional charge. When the crew arrived, I explained that sprinkler lines ran along both sides of the sidewalk and asked whether there was any risk of damaging them. They assured me there was not. They then proceeded to cut sprinkler lines at both locations. I left a voicemail at their main office asking how this issue would be resolved. Lawrence returned my call and said Detroit Concrete Leveling was not responsible for the damage based on terms noted on the back of the quote. The work provided at "no additional charge" ended up costing me $499 for sprinkler system repairs. I strongly recommend you do NOT hire Detroit Concrete Leveling. They do not take responsibility for damaging customers' property. If ownership disclaims responsibility, customers should not expect the work crews to show adequate care for their property. If you still choose to hire Detroit Concrete Leveling, I recommend budgeting extra money beyond the quoted price. You may need it to repair damage cause by their careless or indifferent work. REPLY TO THE OWNER'S COMMENTS OF 7/17/26 Michael - I left a voicemail at your main office on the morning of July 9 regarding the sprinkler damage. Later that afternoon, I received a return call from Lawrence, the salesperson. He stated that Detroit Concrete Leveling does not accept responsibility for property damage and characterized my situation as "unfortunate." He offered either to attempt the repairs himself or that I hire a sprinkler company do so. When I asked whether he had any sprinkler repair experience, he confirmed that he did not. Given the extent of the damage caused by your company and the need for qualified sprinkler repair professionals, I declined Lawrence's offer. Your statements that you requested the opportunity to come to my property to inspect the situation personally and that the "request was declined" are false. I declined only Lawrence's offer to attempt the sprinkler repairs. You did not contact me directly, and neither Lawrence nor any other company employee conveyed any request from you to inspect the damage. I could not have declined an offer that was never communicated to me, and your characterization of these events does not accurately reflect what occurred.
