Here in America consumers have every right to leave reviews and share their experiences. The customer is always right. In the end, I decided it was all worth it, largely because I trusted Ralph and his team. I found Farrow's to be thorough, knowledgeable, honest, and communicative. Not so from a local dealer's Subaru service department which may have actually contributed to the problems with the engine (but I'll never know that for sure). My car was with Ralph and team for almost two months. Ralph never sugar coated anything -- was forthcoming about the time it would take for parts, repairs, etc, and the costs. They were diligent in working to diagnose the root cause, not just symptoms, to get it right. I picked up my car yesterday and needless to say: it's running great -- like having a completely new car (at 120k miles in). I chose US-1 Auto due to its proximity to me: it turned to a better choice than I thought. US-1 Auto is a small family owned business which still does work in the time honored way of labor intensive thoroughness with a meticulous attention to detail. With a late model Audi, it not just about repairing a door. The drive systems, safety systems, even the emergency braking are integrated into one AI unit. Essentially the car had to be partially rebuilt. US-1 Auto complete rebuilt the door - right down to it being able to swing completely closed with a single finger push. The paint work is literally flawless even under differing light. They worked with Audi to purchase and install authentic Audi parts and had the systems reprogrammed at an authorized dealer. When this tiny repair shop was done, the car performed BETTER than before. There is something to be said about the "old-fashioned" way of performing a task with exhaustive attention to detail. When I went to pick up my car it started to vote anti-freeze and then they tell me that they don't know what other people had done to the car when they themselves were the ones who rebuilt the engine and after I spent $11,000 dollars. try to avoid this shop there are many better shops and they charge much less
