I love this addition to Bowling Green's restaurant scene. It has a Paneraish vibe with its panini and bakery items. What does set it apart is the scramblers and pancakes for breakfast and the small salad sides. I have found it to be convenient, friendly alternative to other semi-fast food places. I'm not sure why everyone is up in arms about this? First off, the person at the register stuck WAY too hard on a script. There wasn't really any personality to her. Second, the wife made a comment that she could have made this $20 meal for about 3 bucks at home (we had breakfast this morning). It's seriously overpriced, I believe more so than wild eggs and they have a really nice menu selection. Third, the only reason I'm not giving a 1 star is that the management staff was friendly. The lady who brought out our food wasn't, though. All around a bad experience and we won't be back. read more

I've only had their food once, but if everything is as good as that chocolate cake then this place is amazing! It had great flavor and was incredibly moist. I don't even like cake much but this was superb. I can't wait to go back and try more off the menu. read more

Was our 2nd round here. Beautiful, convenient & pricy. Maybe they will "work the kinks out." $12+ for a BLT, Chips & cookie. BLT was not very large. The tomato was good, as was the other items, except that the bacon was 1/2 cooked. The servers were great. The noise level is a little much, even when the dining area is 1/5 full. read more

Today was my first time at a Corner Bakery. The staff was awesome with recommendations from the menu based on my preferences. Service was very fast considering it was lunch rush. After I finished one of the managers came around and asked how everything was. Being new to the area I will definitely make this a regular lunch spot. read more

Just happened to notice this location driving from Louisville to Nashville. I'm a big fan of the Corner Bakery Cafe from living in Washington, DC. This is unique from the Corner Bakeries I've been to in the past having a drive-through (yes, suburban but very convenient). Overall it's an exceptional store with super friendly service. It's spotlessly clean and unlike some fast casual places they actually wipe down their tables as soon as a customer leaves. And the food is fantastic! I enjoyed the delicious Asian Wonton Salad and the Uptown Turkey Avocado Sandwich. I'm a big fan of their variety of iced tea, too! And the cookies! Yum! It's all so good that we stopped again on the way back home! Now, I just need a reason to go to Bowling Green... or a Corner Bakery closer to home in Columbus, Indiana. read more

Stopped by this place when hubby had a meeting in Bowling Green. Ordered the panini with eggs, fresh green onion, bacon, tomato, and cheese. The sandwich was good (not fabulous, but good). When we first started going to Corner Bakery is was always slow, but good food. As time went on we noticed the manager a lot. He talked to customers all the time and was setting the example for his employees to follow. Corner Bakery became our go to place multiple times a week. Then the manager took off to Nashville to help with a new opening and trouble quickly followed. We no longer see managers nor do we even know who they are. Seems like there is a constant revolving door with employees and the quality/taste of the food has gone down as we noticed cheaper ingredients begin to be used. The menu was changed, the service has suffered greatly, and there is always trash on the ground, doors and windows have massive fingerprints on them/dirty, and our order is never right. You have to constantly ask for what you requested when ordering and have to practically beg for a little bread to eat with your salad. Flies have become a mainstay as well, but I guess that goes with the dirty plats and tables that never get cleaned up when a customer leaves. You f you order a salad, you get a very tiny portion of lettuce with a lot of diced tomatoes on top. IT'S SALAD! It's cheap. Don't skimp. I'm short, it took awhile for those restaurant to build up to be a great place for family dining, but after losing a manger it has taken no time at all for this restaurant to go from five stars to zero. It's a shame. And judging by the empty seats, I'd say I'm not alone in this observation read more

Stopped in for breakfast when I discovered it wasn't included at the hotel I was staying out. They have fresh ingredients. The pancakes were very good and the breakfast scramble with bacon, tomato, avocado was excellent! Atmosphere is similar to Macalister's. The staff was very friendly, you order at the counter and they bring to you when it's ready. They have a very nice little patio on the side for outdoor dining. We will definitely go back if we find ourselves in Bowling Green again. read more

I got the Asian Wonton salad and opted to leave off the chicken. I can tell you I did not miss it at all. The edemame and tomato slaw was amazing as was cabbage. The only drawback to this experience, although delicious, was the high amount of sodium in the dressing. Apply lightly and you should be fine. read more

Wow. What a terrible experience all around. I do not understand why some of these people have given this business 4-5 stars. Terrible service. There were close to seven people behind the counter, and it took 15 minutes for our FAST FOOD to be done. (This was at 7:30 AM, and there were MAYBE 5 customers.) But this wasn't even the worst part. The food was horrendous. Liquid eggs, fake sausage, and gross American cheese. And to top it off, they got one of our orders wrong. Great fresh food, a little pricey, but you get what you pay. They aim to please...Their Harvest bread is out of this world and you can take a loaf home for $2.99. It is a bit cheaper than Panera Bread but still tastes better in my opinion and potion sizes are better too. The staff is always friendly. I like to get the chopped salad. But the paninis are great too. For breakfast I like the pancakes and the chilled pats are awesome. The bakery portion is fantastic and especially miles better than Panera on taste.
