This place does not honor their price quote. We received an email written price quote for $125 to cut and bevel a small piece of glass. Spent 45 minutes driving to the location with the sample and was told the price is $333.15. WHAT?!?! The wrote the "new" price on a card with Dennis Kourkoumelis' name. They manufactured and installed two sliding door screens for us. They were able to have someone come out and quickly take measurements and had the screens ready in less than 7 days. Very disappointed with my last transaction with this company. I had to get my kitchen window screen replaced frame and all . I had given them my old frame as a sample so when I picked up my new screen they were wrapped together so I did not notice the new screen was not put in properly. One side was totally out and a corner of the screen had a hole in it with a small section out also. This happened on a Friday evening so when I spoke to them Monday morning I asked if they could pick it up because I did not have transportation but keep in mind I am a few blocks away from them but I'm disabled and not able to walk. The so called owner advised me they could pick it up but would not deliver it when it was finished and could not tell me when they would have time to pick it up,might not be until the end of the week so I decided to bring it myself which meant I had to Uber there and back for their mistake. So when I get there Tuesday morning I ask the so called owner how could he accommodate me for the inconvenience and he thought that for doing it while I waited was enough well needless to say that was not good enough for me so I suggested he put in the pet screen for me for which he charges $18 for but that was too much for him. Now I'm surprised and upset because I had to spend money to get to them spend extra time which I will never get back for a mistake they made the transportation alone was a little over $18. l will no longer use this company and will tell my friends and family to no longer support this company because when mistakes are made the true character of a company comes out. Corkhill was great! We needed a solution for an added screen that was not standard size, we had all kinds of bugs and critters coming in to our outdoor space, I spoke with Dennis about our options. The company sent someone out to measure the space ( the young guy that came was super friendly and on time and completed his work within 10 minutes), they followed up with us same day and within a week we had a new custom screen! I will say our screen is slightly slanted/crooked but it doesn't bother my too much and the guy that installed it said it was because the surface was not even. I personally don't mind it too much ( but I do like precision so I had to mention it). Overall I would use the company again, they are quick and responsive and on time! They also have reasonable pricing unlike the many other companies I spoke with who either didn't want to take on the project or wanted to charge (I kid- you-not) $2,000 for one screen. Sent them an e-mail about whether they could do a window job for me. They responded by saying yes and asked for my address and phone, which I gave. No response after two weeks. I then called them and the guy that answered said yes, they do that work and that he would call me the following week to set up a visit to look at the job. I never heard from them again. read more

I retained Corkhill to repair nine windows, two of which I could no longer even open. From their executive office to the team of technicians, Corkhill was incredibly responsive, and talked me through my options and - when asked - their recommendations. They delivered what they promised and then some. The technicians themselves were extremely professional, exceptionally efficient, courteous, and technically expert. I expected a day-long disruptive mess. Instead, they came on time, went right to work and, in a couple of hours, they were done and left as if they'd never even been there...except I now had windows that worked! Very convenient spot to compete with Home Depot. Hours are not though if you're a 9 to 5 kinda person except Wednesday they close a hour later. Service is rush and and welcoming, I bought my basement windows from them. They were the cheapest price. I also bought the glass closets door. They look great, however, the handles fall off after a few months. They were glued or paste on. Very bad news. read more

These people are beyond inefficient and rude. Took them three appointments to install the screens. First person who came to install, after 2 hours, realized the screens where manufactured to the wrong size. Second time, two screen were damaged. The third time it worked. Conversations with managers about the problems were a joke - they don't care. The large building I'm in will no longer recommend them. There are plenty of other places to shop read more

They installed a window screen that works well, at a reasonable price, and were pleasant to deal with throughout. Those were my primary concerns and they met them all, so five stars. Two areas where they could improve: They had to come measure twice, because the first guy didn't get everything they needed. Didn't charge either time, but inconvenient. And wish they'd communicate in writing. Instead, phone tag, and I had to repeat my name, address and phone number seemingly every time. read more

Customer service was EXTREMELY poor! It took 3 months to replace my window crank, lock and bar. Not to mention they lost all of my original hardware. On the second visit after they stood me up TWICE without so much as a courtesy call, the technician arrived to my home without a service order and asked me what he was here to fix. He began to assess the job that he would have to do then took pictures of the hardware on the opposite window so that he could then go back to the office and obtain the parts. Mind you everything should have been listed in my customer file. Everything including the pictures that they requested that I text to them the prior week that they confirmed they were in receipt of. Next appointment the technician returns with random parts that he attempts to install then finally does a make shift installation by drilling holes into the window frame to make room for the elbow bar to close securely. My credit card was charged without the office discussing the fees for my payment. On two occasions in this process I called the office to follow up and get some clarification and the office manager was very nasty!!!! He went so far to say that they did me a favor and over extended themselves for a job they did not have to do. read more

After some initial miscommunication this company has gone above and beyond to make sure that I am satisfied with my screens, which were tailor made to fit my odd shaped european windows. Amazing service! I had one window with broken weights that wouldn't stay up and another that wouldn't close. I called on Tuesday. She said they had a technician in my neighborhood and would call back if he could come by. She called a couple of hours later and said he was on his way. He showed up, checked out the windows, did some measuring and said they would call me. They called 2 days later and asked if they could come the next day. We set an appt for noon. Two guys arrived at 11:50 with a box of parts. Took them about 30 min to fix the two windows. They then asked for Windex and paper towels to clean up. My windows now work perfectly. And you might think this cost a couple of hundred dollars. It was $85. Window problems are a pain, especially the old ones many of us have in NY. This company is a pleasure. read more
