I am an advanced DIY'er and ordered this 3 panel sliding glass wall/door and installed it myself. My experiences with Crystalia were interesting but first let me say right up front, I love this door! It looks great, has no frame around the sliding panels other than the outer frame of the whole thing and the quality of the materials are absolutely top notch! But if your going to buy this sliding type of glass door and install it yourself there are a few things you need to know. They make the doors custom per your dimensions. This is not a, "you buy it off the shelf, and install it like any other door", setup. Since they custom build it to your specific opening they require very precise measurements. And I mean precise like using a laser setup and deltas every 12 inches. I had all the tools and did provide all the detailed measurement but the frustrating part is I was in early stages of construction so I didn't have the opening finished to provide the measurement which delayed everything about a month. But I will say when they provided the door, the frame did fit pretty precisely so they do cut it to your specifications. Since this is essentially panels of tempered glass with no frame, you get rails for the bottom of the panels that have rollers and adjusters on them that you have to install on the panels. This is not an easy task. There is a rubber gasket you have to wrap around the bottom edge of the panel first and then form the aluminum channel over it. It took a while to figure out how to get this done. Then you have to screw on the end caps to the roller rail and there are two different cap types. There are Zero - None - Nada - Instruction so you have to figure this out from watching their install video that has no words!!!! Yeah, I installed the wrong caps on the wrong doors and then had to remove all the doors again and change the caps. And the screw holes on the caps didn't all line up right so one screw got stuck. It was a mess. A set of INSTRUCTIONS would have been nice! The Glass panels are heavy! (which they do warn you about before you receive them) I have professional glass suctions cups that were a life saver in moving the panels. I did the install by myself but if you have help things will be easier. So with installing the frame and assembling the three glass door panels, and installing them, took pretty much the full day. I went slow and watched their video probably a dozen times as I went through each step as I didn't want to make any non reversible mistakes. Again, INSTRUCTIONS would have been nice! In summary if you're buying this sliding door from Crystalia and having them install it then I would give it 5 stars as I am sure they can install it easily themselves. But if your installing it yourself or having your contractor install it, beware, this is not like a typical door install and will require figuring it all out and more time than you anticipate. But as I said in the beginning, we LOVE the look of this door and the wide open view it provides and would absolutely buy it again. The quality is there and the cost was reasonable for a custom door. read more

Amazing customer service, product came out exactly as I wanted, and competitive prices. Was researching online for places to cut me a custom piece of glass for a table top. I decided to check out Crystal Glass & Mirror and put in an order online. Unfortunately I made a mistake placing the order online, and called the store after hours to leave a message explaining the situation. Someone called me first thing in the morning and was able to sort it all out. Everything was done quickly, and it was cut to perfection. The glass felt sturdy, and it has held up quite nicely. Everyone I talked to from order to pickup was super nice. Definitely would recommend for all your glass needs. read more

I obtained quotes from every glass service in the NYC area. The Crystal Glass quote was remarkably lower than all the others. I learned that this is because they own $800K CNC equipment for large jobs cutting and edge polishing. All the other local providers probably outsource to them. Their service is excellent and they were a pleasure to work with. I depended on white glove delivery service to carry a 245lb dining table top into our home up one flight of stairs. They took their time and care to align the top on the table base correctly. I cannot recommend them highly enough! read more

Incredibly pleasant and easy to work with. These guys actually return phone calls, they reply to emails, they invoice electronically, they have fair rates, they show up on time, and they do great work. We contacted two other glass companies about our job: one we never heard back from and one we had to follow up with 2 or 3 times only to get a gruff unhelpful voicemail back. Working with Crystal Glass was night & day - would happily use them again. read more

Larry and his crew are the best! I installed a steam shower in my bathroom and needed a new glass shower enclosure. I found the Crystal Glass on Yelp and after a phone call and an in person meeting with Larry, I decided to go with them. And it was the best decision. They did an amazing job! The whole process was very easy, professional and I felt they really cared about their job and their craftsmanship. The final installation was impeccable, beautiful and my bathroom looks so much more luxurious and modern now. I love the clamp-less, clean installation. My wife is very happy too! From measurement, cutting to installation, each step was done with care and precision. And they were always friendly and eager to go above and beyond to just make it perfect. The pricing was also very reasonable (less than two other shops I received the quotes from). I couldn't be happier about their job and their service and I highly recommend them. read more

Crystal Glass & Mirror - New Steam Shower Enclosure - Glass & Mirrors Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

The glass pane on our coffee table broke when our kiddo, playing around with some folded socks, accidentally knocked some plastic chandelier pieces off our ceiling fan - two chandelier pieces fell to the coffee table, splitting the glass in two places. I was surprised and calm when I saw the table and, our son was grieved and offered to pay for the replacement glass, but we didn't know where to get this done. After calling around and doing some on line research, we first reached out to Crystal Glass & Mirror by phone. I spoke to Dmitry, and let him know what we had planned to do and asked for understanding - we would be bringing our boy with us to talk about the replacement glass and that he would be paying for it. Dmitry was gracious. As we went forward with meeting and discussing what we needed, the staff proved to have excellent, comprehensive knowledge about their services and craft. Crystal Glass & Mirror have incredible customer service. And the best price. My husband, our son, and I worked with Larry, the owner, at various points during the process, which took about 3 business days, total. I learned about the different types of beveled glass and understood better what we had and how we could best have it replaced. The work space and the front office are impeccably clean and warm/friendly. We love their work; the new glass/replacement is perfect! Our son felt good about negotiating with Larry and paying for the replacement. We are grateful for Larry and his crew's help. When our son looked at the new glass table top, he was proud. read more

Legit 5 stars. Ordered a simple custom size glass top to go on a wood surface through the site. Crystal Glass & Mirror - Fits beautifully - Glass & Mirrors Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I needed a custom-cut glass tabletop, and after doing some research I was happy to find Crystal Glass & Mirror a few minutes from my apartment. Their online form to submit for custom orders is easy...but that still didn't stop me from filling it out incorrectly. No matter, they gave me a call and got clarification on what I wanted the glass for so they could adjust the order to the best possible product. Bonus? They were out of the width glass I ordered, so they upgraded me for free. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly nice and helpful, and delivery was a breeze. Even after triple checking my measurements, I was still nervous it wouldn't be the right size, but thankfully everything fit perfectly. I hope I won't need *another* glass tabletop anytime soon, but I would definitely order from Crystal Glass & Mirror again (and recommend them to anyone who needs this sort of service!). read more

I can't tell you how delighted I was with the fellas at Crystal Glass & Mirror! I had a big Russel Wright wooden framed mirror which broke during our recent move. I needed the mirror replaced. I called around and got quotes for the job which ranged from $100 - 200. The problem for me was getting it to the shop for repairs - the frame itself is heavy and huge. My brother-in-law is a designer and has used Crystal Glass and Mirror for big jobs like glass for custom furniture and mirrors for bathroom renovations. So, I called and got a quote. $40! Less than half of the lowest quote that I had gotten! Sweet! The other good news? They would also pick up and deliver for another $40! For $80, the mirror was picked up, repaired, and dropped back off, happy and shiny as new. The best part? It all happened in the same day! What?!?! Who has service like that? They defy the equation: fast, cheap, or good = choose two. With these guys, I got all three. Yippee! read more

I highly recommend! They not only fixed my bathroom vanity mirror but figured out how it shattered on it's own. Basically the wood behind it was warped. They got a cabinet maker to craft a new one that was a perfect fit to what I had before. They are super professional, quick, great value, and my impossible task is solved and fixed. My only complaint is during the process I had to keep calling them to follow up. USE THEM! read more

I took a chance and found this company on yelp. I wanted to protect my dining room table from being scratched. I put in my measurements online and was very happy with the very reasonable price. The next day, Jennifer gave me a call to confirm the exact measurements. She was very super sweet and very knowledgeable. The glass came in two days and to my surprise it was exactly what I was looking for. It was the perfect size and looks absolutely gorgeous! The delivery guys were professional and it was installed in literally 5 mins. Quick and easy. I couldn't have done it without Jennifer's excellent customer service. I recommend the White Glove Delivery. I am so glad I found them. It was such a pleasant experience. I Highly Recommend! read more

I am so very impressed with the service I received at Crystal Glass and Mirror - and I didn't even buy anything! Larry was so helpful. He was so honest that when he discovered he didn't have the very particular style of glass that I needed, he sent me to another business. Then I went back again for a detail. Again he didn't hesitate to help and didn't even charge me for his help. This is the only place in Brooklyn I will ever use for my glass needs - honest, pleasant, competent service! read more

Fantastic small business to work with! On time, reasonable, high quality products Expert help in choosing type and size. I originally ordered a small pane of glass to protect a dresser top and when Larry (owner) arrived to deliver it, I asked his opinion about extending my glass top dining room table with a larger glass top. Larry helped me choose proper thickness, shape and size and when the price he quoted seemed very reasonable, I ordered it. He pushed through the job so I could have my new table top for a family holiday dinner. It arrived within a week, and it looks perfect. I could not be more pleased with the entire transaction and highly recommend this company read more

Larry and his team at Crystal Glass & Mirror are amazing. They are the most professional glass company that I have worked with. I have called on Larry many times over the past 5 years to do some challenging and what seemed like impossible glass jobs and he has delivered above my expectations. I purchased a custom table with a 3/4" glass tabletop which had a cracked corner. I called over 10 glass companies and all of them refused to take the job and wanted to charge me even if they broke the table top. Then I called Crystal Glass. Larry took the job, fixed the tabletop and returned it to me. That was the beginning of my working relationship with Crystal Glass & Mirror. I recently hired Larry to create a custom steam shower door set for my new custom steam shower and he designed and just installed it. It is a ultra high-quality work of Art and that is what you get every time you work with Crystal Glass & Mirror. On top of that his prices are reasonable and the hardware that he uses is of the highest quality. I recommend Crystal Glass & Mirror for any glass and mirror work that you may need and I look forward to my next project with Larry and his team at Crystal Glass & Mirror. read more

This was such a great experience. I'm so happy I found this company. Larry came to my house quickly and took measurements and answered all my questions. He gave me great advice for my wall mirror I wanted installed in my office. He is very professional and very knowledgable. This guy knows what he's doing. And I was kinda nervous because I wasn't sure how big the mirrors were going to be or what kind of cut, but Larry made it simple. He gave me a huge discount, since I was paying cash. And the installers came the following week to install my wall mirror. It's pretty big. I think it's 8 feet by 15 feet. It looks AMAZING and makes my office look sooo much bigger. It's fantastic! The installers were Yan and Jay and they were quick, professional, and clean! They didn't leave a mess, which is great! I would definitely recommend this company. If you're looking for home or office renovations, this is the place to call. I'm going to buy a house in a couple of years, and I'm definitely using Crystal Glass and Mirror to help me remodel, for sure! read more

I was searching for glass to build a vivarium and came across a couple of local glass shops. Crystal Glass & Mirror quickly became one of my choices for one of their specific type/thickness of glass and with a competitive price. When I emailed them to confirm about the pricing, the response was quick, friendly, and honest. With that, I immediately knew who I would be ordering from. When I dropped by the office this morning to pick up the glass, I was greeted by Larry. Due to a slight miscommunication, a set of glass did not have the edge polished as requested and that it would be ready by the time I come over today, when they actually meant Monday. Larry immediately worked on it while I was inspecting the rest of the pieces. The craftsmanship was remarkable and measurements were precise, which was very important for fitting the parts together. After the polishing was done, i started to pack up the pieces while having a pleasant chat with Larry. I learned about some of the machines used to do their work, the types of glass they work with, and UV bonding. Overall, a very refreshing conversation. I left with glass in hand and dry fitted them when I got home -- fits snugly like a puzzle. I would definitely recommend without hesitation. Thank you! read more

This morning I met with the Larry, the owner of Crystal Glass & Mirror. I have never written a review for anything or anyone until the job was completed to my liking ; however I must say - this is true customer service; professionalism at its finest! Larry came to my apt. at 10:15 AM and left at 2PM. This was just a visit for measurements and estimate. In other words, he had no guarantee I would hire him for the job and STILL doesn't. Needless to say, by the time he left, it was a done deal! Larry not only went over each and every detail of what will be done, but he is such an amazing collaborator. He feels out one's taste and aesthetics very quickly and gives excellent design ideas related not only to his work, but he also spent tons of time giving me advice about other details related to my renovation and answered all my insanely neurotic OCD questions (I asked him specifically because he made me feel as though I can completely trust him; no BS with this guy. He just genuinely wanted to help with whatever I needed. I cannot wait until the project is completed for a full review update ! Stay This is an update for my previous post 6 months ago. As I expected, Larry and his team delivered beautiful results! I cannot be more grateful for the professionalism, detailed craftsmanship, and complete guidance throughout the process. Larry's work is stunning and I recommend him without reservation. Thank you!! read more

I read the reviews and thought i would give these guys a try and i must say these guys are the best.. and i am a really tough critic. Contracters typically try to hustle me like i'm some dumb female (so then I rip them a new one), but I must say larry and his team are so nice, and so great! i had a million questions for a simple mirror i wanted installed and made for my closet and Larry (i believe he's the owner) answered all of my questions showed me samples and explained everything even though he was busy, had no admin to help him, and he was fighting a cold. This is a belated review. In 2015, after Thanksgiving, Crystal Glass installed a mirrored backsplash in my new kitchen. The work they did was excellent, and the workers cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. Without a doubt, I'll call them again if I have another mirror or glass project. read more
