Recently had a manicure with gel polish. This time, I asked to have the gel removed and to do a standard manicure with clear polish. Young woman removed "most" of the gel with a dremel and then applied ONE coat of clear polish. My nails are rough and irregular. This is my 3rd trip there and not once has anyone cleaned under my nails. They filed with large heavy file that sanded my fingers as well as the nails. I had to file my nails when I got home to smooth the tips. They cut my cuticles that don't need trimming, not a good idea. I had the same experience as others regarding NO customer service. When I entered, greeted with "What do you want?" and when they finished, "You pay cash or charge?" They chatted with each other (not in English) and talked to known customers quite friendly. Lovely looking salon but something isn't right with the way they treat you.

I have always had very strong, long natural nails with zero breaking issues. Five days after my appointment, the gel chipped off one nail. I returned on Monday to have it fixed, and the technician redid that nail along with two adjacent fingers. When I politely asked why she was working on the other two nails, she completely ignored me. She then had a full conversation in another language with a coworker next to her. I asked if she could translate what was being discussed, and she refused to answer or speak to me again. Beyond the terrible communication, the technical work severely damaged my nails. The technician over-sanded the tops of my nail plates with an e-file/Dremel, thinning them out drastically. Within two weeks of this appointment, three of my natural nails snapped completely off due to how dangerously thin they were filed down. Disappointed by both the lack of respect for paying customers and the physical damage caused to my nails. I will not be returning and would advise others who value their natural nail health to look elsewhere.

I always get a mid fade, and in my experience it's really hard to find somebody who gives a really good fade. I found Tara through a recommendation. I literally stopped a stranger who had a nice haircut and I said hey where do you get your haircut? And he referred me to Tara. I could not be more pleased with the results. It was an absolutely great haircut, it's like she's been cutting my hair for years. It looks great, it did not take too long, she was great about scheduling, the price is more than reasonable especially for the quality of cut that you're getting. And on top of all of that I had a lovely conversation. I would recommend a cut above generally, but definitely definitely definitely recommend Tara if you're looking for a good haircut.
