I do really enjoy going here but they always seem to have an issue... ie: steam doesn't work, bathrooms are out of order, showers aren't working, etc. My husband joined me for a class a few weeks ago and the mens bathroom wasn't working and so they told them 'well you can make sure no one is in the womens before using it.' Something like that should've been communicated before class. read more

This is the first CorePower I went to using the free week pass. Close to home, easy to find, and lots of street parking if you're not going at rush hour. This location is two story and has 3 studios, with full lockers and shower room. Love the feel of the openness of this location and friendliness of the staff. Two classes were in session and it sounded very hyped up. Probably Yoga Sculpt class. We were in studio 3 for yoga 1. It's a great refresher course if you haven't done yoga before or if you have done in a while. It was nice to learn the names of the poses again and be able to flow with the instructor's voice. I came a little early, so I was wandering around to check out the space. First floor was reception, retail, and small seating area while the second floor were all the studios and amenities. We started on time, there were only two of us, so we dive right in. It's something so easy, yet so hard at the same time. Definitely felt stretched out and using muscles I haven't used in a long time. I went for Yoga Sculpt the next time and man, that sure kicked my butt! It wasn't even just yoga sculpt, it was yoga sculpt Tabata!!! This class was totally full! Hyped up music and everyone was ready pump it. I wasn't, I had no idea what I got myself into lol! It was such fast pace and hot, that I had to take a breather. Don't get me wrong, it felt great but my little heart couldn't keep up for a bit. Kendall had great humor and kept the class going, or at least she kept me going even though I felt like I was dying. Yoga Sculpt was definitely different for me. I'm used to the quietness of yoga and hearing our breathing. It's nice to have variety though. read more

Really nice yoga studio with friendly instructors and a variety of classes. Most of their classes are heated, but they also offer some low heat options which is nice for me. They also have a small boutique with great discounts on yoga pants. read more

Updating my review, as many improvements have been made with flooring and paint. This studio is still the least clean of all the CPYs in the area. Often out of tissues, toilet paper, wipes, etc. and again... VINEGAR will get rid if the most unsightly hard water stains in the water fountain etc. read more

Absolutely love CP and this location! It's suuuuoer spacious. They have 2 rooms, lockers, and full showers. Absolutely love Geneva and Keira at this studio! The lockers can get a little gross and it's always warm in there tbh it's no different than the other CPs I've been to. Make sure to bring shower shoes and your own show gear. I wouldn't walk around barefoot in there! The rooms are big and I don't feel like I'm on top of other yogis like the highlands studio. Downside is it's street parking. Make sure to leave time to find a spot there's plenty around but it takes some time in hunting around. Don't park in the lots! read more

I've been here twice for their free community classes. One was their yoga sculpt class and the other was their C1 beginner flow. This location frequently offers free classes taught by people going through yoga teacher training. They are always high-quality, and I leave having had my muscles worked and my mind relaxed. This Corepower is very spacious and has two levels. The first just has the check-in desk and some retail items for sale. The second is the locker rooms, bathrooms, and yoga rooms. I like that they have cubbies outside of each studio for easy storage of shoes or yoga mat bags if you don't want to get a locker. The first class I attended here was pretty packed, but we weren't mat-to-mat and I had freedom to move around. I didn't feel like that if I fell out of a balancing pose, I would knock my neighbor down with me. The second class only had a few people, which was nice because that usually leads to more hands-on adjustments. The room we were in for this class had windows. It was nice to have the natural light streaming in and to be able to look up at the sky while practicing yoga. I can't recall whether or not this studio has a parking lot. I usually just park a block or two away and have never had any issues finding parking, even on a weekend afternoon. read more

I actually love this spot and love doing yoga here, but I have it with every single one of my calls getting transferred to a call center, that (1) never answers & (2) hangs up on you! I just need to talk to someone in the studio and it shouldn't be this difficult! I have sent multiple e-mails and have not rcvd' a response! So frustrating! IF your hours say open, then you need to have someone answering the phones! This has been going on for months now and it would be nice to be able to get a hold of someone and now just some stupid chat bot that doesn't have the answers to the questions, I NEED answered! I have been a member at CorePower for over 6 years now and the business continues to decline in value. However, the membership cost continues to increase. I understand this is a business and not a non-profit org but if your going to continue to drive increased cost, you better back it with value. I can confidently say this is not the case. To start, they absolutely pack the classes with "students". You are mat-to-mat in almost every night class and when I say mat-to-mat I mean inches away from the person next to you. Leaving you minimal space to achieve to a good a workout. The second thing I would like to call out is the locker rooms. I can't speak for the women's but the men's is absolutely disgusting. Especially the Lohi studio out in Denver, CO. The bathroom smells like urine and I think I know the source. The urinal looks like it has never been cleaned. The inside of the urinal is stained dark yellow and the mat on the floor looks like it's soaked up men's drippings for the years it's been open. The showers are also something disgusting. The Lohi location offers 4 showers and when all 4 are functional(also rare) they are almost never clean. The bottom of the showers are so nasty looking. They carry hair, lint, and god knows what else. They also are rarely stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Again, if you want to drive increased cost you must prove the money is being utilized to provide an overall better customer experience. This is absolutely not the case with my experience the past 6 years. read more

I don't necessarily want a meditative experience with yoga and cpy delivers on that. However, it's not a great workout either. I mostly sweat because it's hot. None of the actual yoga is challenging. I haven't tried a cp3 but they're so infrequent anyway. Yoga sculpt is challenging for sure--but it's not really yoga. It also encourages poor form. I want to sweat because I worked out, not because a room is hot and it's impossible to get air because the hot air is so thin. An underwhelming experience for all the classes I tried. I can get behind some corporate philosophies but this is not one of them. read more

The only downsides for me are the small locker rooms, the crowded classes, and the expensive pricing structure. If your classes rolled over to the next month, or you could gift them to guests. SO DISAPPOINTED IN LACK OF INSTRUCTION! I am fairly new to yoga and have only done it a few times at 24 Hour Fitness, but their room tends to get crowded! It has been many years since I have done yoga, so I signed up to try a Core Power Yoga 1 class this week and was really disappointed! I didn't like that the instructor walked around or just watched us while verbally saying the poses (instead of physically showing them). I had to watch others in the class to know what to do. At one point she instructed us to not watch others, as this was OUR own practice as a "yogi." But if I didn't watch others, I wouldn't have known how to do many of the yoga poses! If this is a basics class, it really failed in helping to guide newbies. It was incredibly frustrating! I really wanted to like this studio as it has parking spots, a beautiful facility with good amenities and is close to home. I was surprised at how hot the room was as I don't do Bikrham because of my sensitivity to heat. read more

When I think of this studio, I think parking (or lack thereof) and crowded. I had terrible parking luck, and stressing out about getting to a yoga class just doesn't make sense. Teachers: I liked the teachers that I had, although they weren't as experienced as teachers at other studios. Classes: The biggest strength of this location is the class frequency. The classes tend to be crowded though, at least the evening classes are. The Hot Power Fusion class bordered on too hot for me, probably more because it was also really crowded. Getting a spot in the back helps. The middle of the class is the hottest. Parking: Their website says that they have twenty-six spots behind the studio; I wasn't able to get one, and street parking near the studio is hard to come by. I didn't try going at 6:00 a.m. though. Maybe I would've had better parking luck then. Changing area: Nice and includes showers, but it still gets quite crowded. Although the studio isn't a fit for me, it's very popular with lots of other people, and you'll get a great workout. read more

I like the fast paced flow some of the classes have, the heat, the music and high intensity workouts, especially in the yoga sculpt class. As a 50 year old beginner I don't feel out of place at all. The teachers have been very helpful on giving me tips. I give CPY two thumbs up! read more

While the space itself is very clean and modern, the yoga space (room 1) is not great. This is the 3rd CPY location I've been to, and the Yoga room is my least favorite. If you like other peoples sweat splashing on you while you practice, other yogis mats overlapping yours, then this is the place for you. They try to cram about 40-50 people in a room really meant for only 20 people. I understand their other classes get better numbers than yoga, but when you can't move appropriately or modify because of the lack of room, it really effects your practice. I'll find another studio. The teachers are okay, the flows are all very similar and not very mixed. read more

This studio is downright dangerous. I went a second time to the lohi location hoping my first (worst CorePower experience ever) was a fluke, it wasn't. I've taken two HPF classes, had the same terrible experience at both. The rooms are dangerously hot, yes, it's hot yoga, it's supposed to be 103-105 degrees Fahrenheit. I swear both classes were 110+ people drop like flies. It was already way hotter even before the class stared than the hottest point of any other HPF class I've ever taken. Part of the heat problem, is that they don't cap off how many yogis are allowed in their small studios. We are talking mats overlapping mats, absolutely no room to move. It's like doing yoga in a cage. An already unbearably hot class at the beginning only builds insane heat quickly with a way over packed class. There is a major lack of fresh oxygen just minutes into class. The men's bathroom, both visits, were out of body wash in every shower. We aren't talking low, there was literally no body wash bottles in any showers but one, which had absolutely no water pressure, and was either boiling, or arctic cold. Again, these issues were consistent with both of my visits here. I've learned my lesson the hard way. As much as both experiences wanted me to cancel my CorePower Black tag membership completely, the other studios in Denver are much better and enjoyable experiences. read more

The chanting is a little weird in contrast with having a DJ in a yoga class where the music is so loud you can't hear the instructor at times. If you want trendy yoga, this is your place. Don't get me wrong, it's a great workout. If you want meditation and mind/body/spirit and a great workout, I would check out somewhere else. read more

CorePower LOHI is an amazing studio with awesome instructors. They have successfully married a kick-ass yoga workout with the very important, but often unacknowledged, philosophical and spiritual aspects of yoga. I am a big fan of Corepower at LoHi - I got a Groupon almost 2 years ago and have been hooked ever since. This studio has a Ryder (spinning) class and 2 decent-sized studios. Their sculpt classes are awesome if you need a workout, and the Hot Power Fusion or Corepower 2 classes are great for stretching it out & getting your sweat on. I took Ryders classes here from multiple teachers during a month where I used a Groupon, and while this studio is large and new with a beautiful changing area and bathrooms, the Ryders classes were just not my favorite. I have been spoiled at a different gym where the Ryders bikes were used much more to take advantage of the realistic movement. The classes here didn't seem to use a lot of side-to-side moves, except maybe during one song out of 45 minutes. My husband rated these classes at a 6 out of 10 as far as difficulty. At my other gym, the movement is constant, using jumps, balancing and standing positions, a lot of variation in arm positions and crunches/presses, more turns...just a lot more change and fast-paced movement in a short amount of time. The classes at CPY seemed to hold a position for 60 seconds or sometimes longer. I like to be up, down and all around on the bike because that's what makes it fun and qo quickly, not to mention working my entire body. A few of the teachers spent more time walking around the room than on their own bikes and that's not always a bad thing, but their intensity and encouragement didn't seem as natural as when the instructor is sweating it out along with the class. It seemed overall like the instructors had a smaller roster of moves to pull from, if that makes sense. I will say that in my last week, I took classes from two different teachers who did really start changing up the sequence of moves and I really enjoyed those classes. We did some pushups and balancing and tabata and faster turns rather than holding one super long turn after another. These teachers also gave a bit more instruction which was helpful, since all spin classes, teachers and moves are a little bit different. I didn't take any yoga here because I already like the classes and teachers at the Highlands studio. I do appreciate that they have many classrooms and a lot of class options to fit into one's schedule. I'd return to try their community yoga, but for the extremely high price of a membership here, the Ryders classes did not stack up favorably to my other gym in Denver. Another bummer is that the bikes are in what looks like a bland classroom with just a few windows. Pretty boring. CPY is probably better than 99% of the studios in town, but not better than my favorite spot. read more

The "Real Ryder" aka spin classes are an incredible workout and great combination with yoga to make the membership worth it. I have taken yoga for over 2 decades in many different cities. In Denver alone I've been to Vital, Freya, Kindness and a few others. I always return to CorePower for several reasons- most importantly consistency. Their studios are always immaculate, and welcoming. I usually take either the C2 or Yoga Sculpt classes which are challenging and taught by highly effective instructors. I live in Golden so either head to the Lohi Studio or Belmar. Both are amazing! You really can't beat the feeling of utter relaxation and exhaustion. read more

CorePower is my spot. If you attend class here three times/week, you will see results quickly. The LoHi studio is absolutely beautiful but I also love the Highlands, Broadway and Grant. Between these four studios, there are probably over 100 available classes. I love the squishy floor, it's good for my knees. My favorite instructor is Nadia, she always challenges us with new poses and encourages us to try new things while practicing safely. I love that the bathrooms are clean. It is also important that there are plenty of blocks and straps to use during class. read more

This is one of the best locations in Denver! All of the staff are so friendly and kind! They are welcoming and make you feel apart of a community. The floors and space are always clean as well! All of the instructors are encouraging that I don't have a favorite! They are all good! I love this studio, like 91.3% of the time. Yes parking is tough, but l love most of the classes, and instructors. I never feel bad when I just need to sit there, no one makes me feel like I should do more than I feel like doing. I'm there 4-5 times a week, and it's only occasionally that I can't park. I do like the heat though, one of the better studios for that. read more
