I have ordering from there for a few years. Today I ordered an Omelet with sausage cheese & hash browns. I was not happy originally by the looks of the hash browns. Decided to try this place out since I had a doctor's appointment in the area. Upon checking out of the office I heard the ladies at the front desk taking a lunch order. One mentioned a buffalo chicken wrap. It was lunchtime and I remembered there was this good looking deli two blocks away. I wondered if this is the deli where the ladies ordered from. Me and my husband decided to pick up lunch from here. Loved that they have parking in the back since this is on a busy street. Upon walking into the deli we saw busy workers making food behind the counter. They immediately greeted us and we started looking at their menu behind the counter. They had a vast array of yummy options for lunch. We settled on a buffalo chicken wrap for myself! Aha this is where those ladies ordered from after all! My husband ordered the prosciutto wrap. My wrap was a green spinach wrap - the chicken inside was very delicious and tasted very fresh. My husband enjoyed his prosciutto wrap which came with provolone cheese, ham, salami, lettuce, tomato, roasted peppers and Italian dressing. The gentleman at the register was very courteous and polite. There is a two person seating at the front of the deli but we decided to eat our wraps in the car. They have a variety of chip bags available and I purchased a few gourmet ones for my daughter to take to school for snack time. They have a lot of hot lunch specials which my co-workers eat. Up to recently, vegetarian options were virtually non-existent, but today they offered me a veggie burger for the first time, so I'm happy they are finally offering me things I can eat so I don't have to go to the slow Chinese restaurant next door. The owners are friendly and personable, just a pleasure to buy from. They have coffee and a variety of teas, but I find cold drinks to be a bit limited. Mainly a bunch of sodas and other things laden with sugar. Seltzer is the only palatable cold drink they seem to have. Overall it's a great place with a pleasant a atmosphere that I will continue to patronize and recommend to others. read more

Now called "manhasset grand deli" the owners/workers could care less about their food and customers and it shows. Mac and cheese had no taste except for too much pepper and something like vinegar. Chicken was like shoe leather. No emotion in the workers. The best alternative is Orlando's in mahasset. Very close on plandome road. I will start by saying I've only been here once, but a breakfast sandwich is pretty easy not to screw up. My turkey, egg, and cheese sandwich was a little crunchier than i expected due to the small bits of eggshell inside, but i can always use some extra calcuim. The bread was slightly tough, not the worst ive had, but too chewy for a sandwich, my whole sandwich almost shot out from between the bread during bites. The coffee was brown. It passed as coffee from looks and smell, anything past that and youd be questioning what beverage you chose, but I am a man who likes his coffee. I'll wrap things up by saying the manager was a bit off-putting, with his I'm-better-than-you attitude. Overall it was a terrible experience, and i dont think I'll stop there again.
