Fray and his team are the best! They are hardworking, reliable and good at what they do. We were so impressed with the dry wall project we needed done as well as the painting they did in our whole 2,000 sq ft home with vaunted ceilings. I was recommended to use Francisco from a friend who had hired him to do a bathroom remodel / tile work. I had just finished a kitchen remodel and all I needed was my backsplash tile installed. I texted Francisco directly and he came out the next day to take measurements and give me a quote. I had about 75 sq feet of tile. He estimated 3 days and he had availability the following week. Another artisan named Francisco and his trainee Josh actually did the work. They arrived on time and were very nice and professional. They really seemed like they enjoyed their craft and really knew what they were doing. To start they layed out plenty of paper and cloth to protect my counters. We were home throughout the job And they consulted with me throughout the process on decisions about centering and trimming, and other design / layout choices which I really appreciated. No surprises. I kinda nit picked a few things and Francisco was super gracious and accommodating. Their workmanship and craftsmanship were impeccable. Every line and cut are perfect. I used pretty high end end tiles and ordered a pretty tight amount as to not spend extra money on overages. They didn't waste or break a single tile! They even helped me use the few extra pieces we did have to incorporate a detail in a separate area/ butler pantry. They did a really nice job of cleaning up too. We couldn't be happier it turned out so beautiful and would hire them to do other jobs in the future. Loved the way our two bathroom remodels turned out. We were very pleased with the professionalism and workmanship by Cordada Construction and team. After getting quotes from 5 or 6 other companies in the area, Cordada Construction provided the most fair pricing. Our project consisted of two complete remodels and their team was able to accomplish it quickly and up to our standards. The complete renovation finished in such a short time (2 wks) probably would've been faster but i ordered some parts that were the wrong size. I was in awe of how fast they work. Gave these guys a try because of the many great reviews I saw. I was able to remodel my entire small bathroom for half the price of what I was quoted from Shugarman's Bath for the shower only. Didn't pay a dime over what I was quoted. They got the work done in 5 days (the last day was just to come back for a second coat of paint). The work area was cleaned well and they covered their walkway even though I said we would change the carpet soon. Fray was super nice and even helped me return a large item to Lowe's down the street since I don't have a truck. I highly recommend Cordada. read more

Fray Cordada did many renovations inside our house. I had them build a stone wall on our fire place, they then remodeled our kitchen removing a wall, installing or should I say building us a brand new island, took our sliding glass door out and installed a new window in its place and framed it. The stucco job on the outside was perfect. These guys did an amazing job on our home and we will be using them again when its time to remodel the bathrooms. Before you contact Cordada Constrution, I suggest you read my review and know this exact same thing could happen to you. Fray is very unprofessional and completely wasted 2 weeks of my time!! First, we had an appointment to meet on a Tuesday 10/12 at 11:00 am. After taking the morning off work and waiting for him to show at my house for over an hour, I decided to call him and ask if he was still coming. He said he was still at the City of Vista working on something for another client. He apologized for not bothering to call me to let me know he wasn't coming. I told him I'd be willing to give it another try and reschedule another appointment with him. We rescheduled for the following day, Wednesday 10/13 again at 11:00 am. This time Frey showed up on time and we walked through my house. We spent about 30-40 minutes going over the work I wanted done, which Frey told me would take between 2 and 3 weeks to complete. He told me he would work up an estimate for me and have it over to me within a couple of days. A few days went by and I never heard anything from him, so I text him and asked where is my estimate? He said he would send it to me by Saturday 10/16, which was an entire week ago! Not only has Frey not followed through and sent me an estimate, but he has completely blown me off. I have left him 2 voice messages and sent him numerous text messages to his cell number and he has not even bothered to respond to me. I realize times are good right now and contractors are picking their jobs while things are great in the economy, but you don't last long when you treat people like that Frey. I have been in business for over 25 years myself and would never imagine treating ANYONE like this. If you want my advice, LOOK ELSEWHERE. This guy will probably waste your time just like he did mine. read more

Cordada Construction is Great!, He constructed a bedroom into a kitchen! Turned our very small kitchen into a large kitchen with plenty of cabinets and counter space. Had to tear down walls to do it and in doing so, it made our living room very large an open into the kitchen. Our house was built in 1948, it had 1 bathroom and we needed 2 and Cordada Construction made that happen! Fray has completed numerous projects in my home over the years. My husband had a stroke in 2017 and Fray widened three of our doorways to accommodate him with his wheelchair. He renovated our bathroom that had a tub and shower and made a beautiful walk in shower. He put a tile floor in my master bedroom so my husband could accommodate himself with his wheelchair. Recently he replaced a cracked granite kitchen countertop with quartz along with a new stainless steel singl e basin sink. He also painted our entire downstairs with high ceilings. Needed a contractor to install newly purchased kitchen cabinets. Found Cordada Const. on-line and took a chance. I am so glad I did. I had them remove a load bearing wall prior to installation. They did a fantastic job!! I also wanted 860 square feet of new porcelain flooring tile installed so I had Cordada do the work. Workers showed up when promised, worked all day with just a short lunch break and always cleaned up at the end of the day. I was so pleased that I added the baseboards and had them move some electric outlets. Very satisfied. They are currently installing a glass shower door in my master. We bought a little house in Oceanside in 2015 and have been slowly renovating it. I could not wait to replace the crappy original front and back doors and the terrible screen doors with security doors. The house is older so it's not so easy to fit the doors perfectly due to the way the house was put together. I went to Home Depot with an appt to try to get their contractor(s) they use to consult even if I had to pay. Well you know how Home Depot is....the McDonalds attention span of home improvement stores that could give a you know what. So I called five contractors that morning and Cordada construction was the only one to call back!! They came over and confirmed what doors to get so I ordered the doors. Their quote was incredibly fair. The doors finally all came in and they picked them up and installed all four yesterday. It took all day because of the quirkiness of the house but we were thrilled! These guys are so nice and patient as well as respectful of your property. We have done a lot of renovating in our lives including a four story Victorian house in Maine. We have dealt with a lot of obnoxious overbearing arrogant contractors who take their sweet time. This construction group was the best experience so far. Five star! read more
