Cornerstone was a company referred to us by friends. We have a small kitchen and Bill took the time to show us different countertops and cabinets. We discussed options. Bill made a suggestion of moving our old pantry to a new location which opened up our kitchen with more counter space and a large larger pantry .throughout the process with the team of installers electrician and drywaller were very professional in on time every day. They finished the job before the target date Kimberlee the project manager and Bill provided us with excellence. These people are amazing. They remodeled our kitchen and built in a bar area with gorgeous new cabinets and countertops to match our existing. Then after that, we contracted to replace a door on the back of our house. They have been nothing but incredible through the whole process. The kitchen looks amazing. I honestly wish we had been able to afford to replace all our cabinets with the ones they put in to match, as the ones they put in are much nicer. It all looks gorgeous and has made our home a great place to entertain. The back door took a lot longer than we originally discussed, but for good reason. The door we had chosen to have made ended up not being the quality that we or Cornerstone had anticipated. They were very quick to admit that the quality wasn't up to their standard and we quickly went about ordering a different door. Kymberlee and Bill were amazing in helping us pick a new door. Their tastes are totally on point with ours. Then Covid happened and everything got delayed more. Nobody's fault. Just what it is. Ultimately the end results are exactly what we wanted. Of course there were hiccups along the way. We have a very old house, which is why we went with a contractor. The Cornerstone team has been amazing. We are very critical of our house and I'm sure have been a little picky at times during all the process, but at no point did Bill or Kymberlee ever make us feel like we were being annoying, even though I'm sure we were. Lol. I cannot begin to verbalize how happy we are with them. Every person that came to our house was professional, friendly, and very skilled. We met with Cornerstone and a couple of other remodeling companies. After meeting with all of them, we decided to go with Cornerstone. No, they were not the cheapest, nor the highest but they were very collaborative during the entire process. They came up with a great design that worked for our home including opening up a wall that separated the kitchen and the living room. Their guys who did the work are super knowledgeable and were very fastidious when they were working in the kitchen, specifically the electrical wiring. Our home was built in 1959 and still had the original electrical wiring and they pointed that out. Yes, it did cost us extra (to be expected on a project like this) but I appreciated the extra attention to detail to this and other items during our remodel. We did not need them to do any wallpapering but they did recommend color schemes and paint when trying to decide what colors we wanted for the cabinets, island and paint on the walls. Were their bumps along the way, of course there was. It's remodel, it's going to happen. But they were very professional and worked with us to resolve those "bumps" and we ended up with a beautiful kitchen & dining room. They even helped us with suggestions on fixing some living room issues as well. Like I said, they were not the cheapest and not the most expensive BUT working collaboratively with them was a great experience considering all of the horror stories of people getting ripped off by other contractors. We are very pleased with the way our custom cabinet turned out. We spoke with different suppliers before we decided on Cornerstone. We wanted the cabinet to create multifunction and Cornerstone worked with us on the design. There is a hidden pocket door that allows us to transform surface into a workspace if needed. Cornerstone was very meticulous with how they executed the project. It is an art form how they put the cabinetry together! Kymberlee was excellent in managing our expectations. Great experience working with the Cornerstone team! I had started my kitchen remodeling project and had to replace my cabinet contractor mid-project. I had a hard time finding someone who would be willing to come in half way through and finish. Luckily I found Cornerstone. They were professional, reasonably priced, and reliable. They corrected a bunch of mistakes the other contractor made and finished my project beautifully. Communication was good throughout the project. We needed Cornerstone to help repaint some of our cabinet doors and drawer fronts. They came out to give us a quote and than after reviewing it, set up for them to pick up the doors/drawers. They were very patient with scheduling delays we had due to medical reasons. After testing a door with color, they left it for us to approve. We needed an adjustment, so they quickly came to get another door to compare and the color match worked. They came out and quickly pulled off the drawers/doors they were going to repaint for us. In a little over a week they were finished spraying on the pain and brought all doors/drawers back and reinstalled them. They left us a mini sprayer and paint so we could do touchups as needed. I would recommend their service and customer service to anyone who needs work done. They were all professional throughout the whole process. read more

Cornerstone hired a man to represent their business at home shows and to follow up with leads, schedule appointments, etc. This man is AWESOME. Super friendly and straight to the punch on coordinating a time for you to visit the Showroom. I understand why this man was hired... because the actual Cornerstone staff are HORRIBLE communicators and late to appointments. Strike 1: On the initial appointment to make quick measurements and provide a quote, the owner of Cornerstone was 1 hour late, after I had already adjusted my schedule to make it more convenient for him. I received no call warning me that he'd be late. People are late sometimes, it happens.. so I let this go and didn't even mention it during the appointment. We proceeded through the process with Cornerstone and made an appointment at their showroom. They had about 3 dim lights in the room with all of their tile selection. Very hard to see the detail of the Quartz. Perhaps this is a temporary light bulb issue? During our visit we found a Quartz style we felt comfortable with and began talking about the round about price. The owner suggested that if we could find a leftover piece of that style of Quartz in the back of their building, that it could save us $1K off the total price. He even said that he would call around to other contractor friends of his to see if they had the style we liked. Strike 2: Before even confirming whether or not they could find the leftover Quartz to make the price $1K less expensive, they sent somebody new over to take more exact measurements. This seemed kind of out of order, but I let them take the lead on the whole process. After he was done measuring, he put a contract in front of me and asked for a deposit. This was a surprise to us because we hadn't even heard back from them about the leftover Quartz, we hadn't even picked an edge style, or even really had a time to discuss the price. I obviously didn't sign or pay anything at this point, and I told the guy (I'm guessing co-owner?) to have the man I was originally working with give me a call. Strike 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8: After several days the owner called and left a voice mail. I called back and left a voicemail, and follow up email. I waited a few days for a returned call. Nothing. To make a long story short, over the next two and 1/2 weeks I *literally* followed up with him 2 more times via email, left 2 more voice mail message, followed up with the original appointment setter 2 more times (he of course answered, and said that he'd ask the owner to call.. but nothing), and I left 2 messages with the front desk. My neighbors had a pipe leak that ruined a shared wall and a good portion of my kitchen. My cabinet boxes got water damage and had to be rebuilt (it was only 3 out of 14 cabinets so my insurance only coved the cost of the 3 cabinets). I was able to salvage the doors and drawers But most contractors would not do such a small job and kept pressuring me to get all new cabinets! Not in my budget, not gonna happen. Cornerstone saved me! They rebuilt boxes that are even nicer than the original. Not only that but they installed much quicker then I expected and their price was very reasonable. The idea of remodeling our home has been in the works for the last year. I had been searching around town for the best estimates and found Cornerstone remodeling through an ad on the newspaper. Since it was going to be a complete remodel, we had to make sure that the contractors that we hired were professional and reliable. They finished this huge project in a very timely manner and my family and I are very excited about our new home. Hiring Bill's team at Cornerstone was hands down, the best decision we have ever made! The staff was very professional and the communication was great. We had different people coming every day to work on their assigned parts, and they were always on time. I'm not sure why previous reviews have placed an emphasis on the terrible communication with this team, but I can assure you that they knew what they were doing. There were 3 exemplary workers that I can't keep talking about because they did such a wonderful job. If I needed something done or changed, George, the project manager was a phone call away. The communication between us was great, and I never had to request anything twice for it to be done. Lucas, the cabinet expert did a phenomenal job on the cabinets in our kitchen. He went out of his way to ensure that the cabinets were the way I wanted, going above and beyond all standards that I had. We had Urbano working on the electrical work and he did a fantastic job as well. Urbano is such a hard worker and really knew his line of work. We had Cornerstone Remodeling completely redo our kitchen and dining room. They did an outstanding job!!! We could not be happier. Bill and Kymberlee are easy to work with, and receptive to all the input we gave. Bill is excellent with design suggestions and has an eye for what looks right. Unlike most kitchen remodelers, our cabinets were custom made for our kitchen in their own shop... no prefab stuff here! The craftsmen (and I use that word specifically) that actually did the work were caring and conscientious. The showed great respect for our home and did a fantastic job. I hate posting negative reviews but this is the type of info that people need... I had cornerstone out to my condo to estimate a small project. Their estimate came in quite a bit higher than I expected. When I saw the quote I thought it's either because I'm a single woman so won't know any better or that they have too much overhead. I've since talked to 2 other contractors and will he completing the project for for about 30% less. Additionally I asked about possibly doing some additional electrical work. I had an awesome electrician over today and he confirmed for me that their quote was more than double what it should be. read more

I hired Cornerstone Remodeling to remodel my original 1950's kitchen in February and it was completed in March. The project took about 4 weeks from start to finish as I had to gut the kitchen and do lots of work before I was ready for the cabinets and granite. I am so pleased with my kitchen I couldn't ask for anything better. Any little issue that came up was promptly handled. Their bids are very reasonable and they are very easy to work with. Cornerstone has done fabulous work for me on several projects carried out between 2011 to 2014. The people who worked with me to design what I wanted and the people who did the actual installation are terrific. They created some beautiful, unique, and very functional pieces for my house (cabinets, bookcases, bathroom vanities). However, problems with the office staffing have become worse and worse during 2014, so that I can't give them a very positive recommendation. If you choose to work with Cornerstone, try to get them to give you a written estimate of time to product completion, as well as total charges. Be careful about billing, as they may try to overcharge you as a result of their general confusion. Be prepared to make many phone calls to nag them about doing the work. You will probably get a good product, but you will have to work for it! read more

Called Cornerstone's Bill Llame, explained the problem, he personally came out, informed us the installer (since released) had used the wrong acrylic. Mentioned he would send out a man when he became available, and sure enough, Eduardo showed up a few weeks later and completely redid the shower. That is service we can count on. I met Stan The Man from Cornerstone at a trade show. He was great as other reviewers have mentioned. Extremely professional and not pushy like other trade show folks. I did my homework, got 4 quotes, and Cornerstone easily beat the competition. Very good value, meaning that the quality is great along with the price. Bill is very knowledgeable and had good suggestions for making my kitchen design even better. They were conscientious and came back immediately to fix a few small details. There were a couple of times when the communication was missed, but that's a two-way street, and they bent over backwards to make it right. Still a 5-star recommendation for sure. read more

I was really happy about starting a new chapter in my life, I found myself being an empty nester, and decided to get a smaller place, I found a 2 bed/2bath, very big, I wanted to remodel the kitchen and the master bath, after a year getting about 6 or more estimates a choose cornerstone. I thought I planned it well 1 year after moving in, It was January when I choose cornerstone, I wanted them to start work in March, It was enough time for them to have my cabinets ready. So Cornerstone told me with the work I was having done it would take 3 weeks which I was very happy about the time. First day of work it was 3 people, the rip out was under way very good 1st day and week, when the second week came it was down to two people and within the same week 1 person, After the plumbing was completed in the bathroom no one work in there for a week, while the one person worked in the kitchen. Finishing the patch work and painting. The kitchen sat for a week with no one working, I call to complain and I asked them where were the kitchen cabinets they told me they were at the shop they needed to paint them, come to find out they didn't start on them until day one of the remodel, which started two days later then what it was supposed to start, I didn't know that they made the boxes there and the doors somewhere else, and then one of the workers didn't show up and that was another two days that no one was working on the remodel, So when the cabinets finally showed up it was the wrong color, which they had to paint them on site, then I had to wait on my doors. I complained they told me because I added on lights and change the paint color that's why my job was going the way it did. The extra thing I added was done so quickly that I didn't turn away from them quick enough and it was done. And as far as changing the paint color it just the color and not the strokes, the tile was the wrong color and I was told that's the color I picked out, no I gave them a sample tile that I wanted. Then they told me that they had a lot of other work was the reason why my job was not being worked on. That's not my problem. I am enjoying my kitchen and bath, but if you go with cornerstone or any other contractor make sure you get everything in writing, and make sure the planning is going to be within the time frame that was stated. read more
