Highland Manor was the closest and simplest to get to, so that is how we decided on this one. Turns out, the winery shares the property with one of the breweries that I had bookmarked! We were the only ones there when we walked in, and had a great time doing a full tasting with the friendly employee. I think you get 3 samples for free, but more than that costs a little and you can try everything as well as get a small glass to keep. The offerings were ok. Good enough that a we got a few bottles to either bring home or to enjoy on our cabin weekend. They also had frozen wine offerings, and we got to include trying the beer and cider they had on tap as well. We also got a growler of one of their ciders to bring to the cabin for the weekend. The visit was lovely, mostly thanks to the friendly wine steward. Definitely recommend a stop in, if you are in the broadly general area.
