Enchiladas Mole Coloradito

Love this restaurant!! One of my favorite spots in Santa Barbara for authentic Mexican food. I make sure to visit this spot every time I'm in town! They serve a variety of dishes that you'd normally wouldn't get at a regular Mexican spot, and each and every one of them are crafted so thoughtfully! Each dish I've tried has been amazing, I can't wait to try out everything else they offer! They also have the best salsas I've ever had, make sure to try each and every one!! The habanero one is my favorite! The service also never disappoints, the owners and staff made the space very welcoming and the vibes are always great! :) The mole dish I had once is one of my favorites!!

I came in for lunch which was a little busy inside, but there is plenty of seating. We ordered the chicken flautas, Quesabirria, Costra de carne asada, & verdes de pollo Enchiladas. Their flautas are one of my favorite things to order- they're crispy & it is stuffed with chicken. The Quesabirria was cheesy, juicy and dripped with juice when you dipped it- I would definitely get again. The costra de carne asada is skirt steak, seared cheese, & bacon in a tortilla- delicious, but the Quesabirria was the favorite between the two. The verdes de pollo enchiladas are a good size meal with juicy chicken & flavorful salsa verde. Always a fantastic place to stop for food while in Santa Barbara. Well, that was just amazing! In the area for the weekend and our friends suggested we try this spot. We were two families, both with kids, and the restaurant was more than accommodating. The service was great - Milo took very good care of us!! we were there for lunch, and ordered a variety of foods: breakfast burritos, pancakes, and black beans over plantains, which was my plant-based meal. The food was absolutely delicious, and it came out quick, hot, and fresh. Now let's talk about the decorations inside I could spend so much time staring at everything on the walls. The art is eye candy, and the detail surrounding you is so beautiful to look at while you are having your meal. We are absolutely happy to have found this place! Thank you so much for a lovely experience!

Enchiladas Rancheras - Excellent!

Amazing food in a fresh and spacious space, my wife and I came here before a show. Ordering is at the counter, take a number, they bring it to you. Space is large, industrial concrete and steel with high ceilings, but somehow warm and cozy at the same time. They have a many creative tacos, flautas, enchiladas and mole dishes that appear more "authentic" and not your everyday Mexican, as well as beer and cocktails. We ordered a bowl of guacamole, chicken mole enchiladas, enchiladas rancheras, sparkling water and a margarita, then sat down with our number. The guacamole and particularly the chips were incredible, tasting hot and freshly made, but in a smallish bowl. Margarita was very good too. Both our main dishes presented well, were loaded with flavor and top notch, with the mole being spot-on sweet and spicy with very nicely prepared beans and rice sides. To finish the guacamole, additional chips at $4 were needed. Counter service and food delivery times was good. This is probably the best Mexican food I've had in Santa Barbara, a big statement! My only (1/2 star) nit is for the price and quality of food and cocktail offerings, I feel the restaurant (and me) deserve more a finer dining, full table service experience.

On Cinco de Mayo, I visited Corazon Comedor, located at 29 E Victoria St, to celebrate a birthday. I have visited this establishment on numerous occasions and have consistently had exceptional experiences with its culinary offerings. The large chips and guacamole are a must-order item. The service provided at Corazon Comedor is consistently impeccable. The ambiance is inviting and they have amazing food options.

I went for dinner, but I think this place is more popular during breakfast and lunch hours. You order at the counter then take a seat. Salsa bar located on the side. The burrito had a lot of flavor but the tortilla was kinda hard and made it difficult to cut with the knife. Overall the staff is friendly and it's not a bad spot to sit down and grab a quick bite to eat.

2 traditional plates that did not disappoint. It is a spot to visit.

Amazing food! We had a great experience at Corazon Cocina earlier and we heard this place had the same chef so we decided to stop in for dinner. We were greeted by Janet right away. She was very welcoming and made sure we had what we needed throughout our visit. I had the Rajas con Crema, a taco with poblano, corn, crema, and queso fresco on a blue corn tortilla. I didn't know exactly what to expect but it was EPIC! Maybe the best thing I've tasted so far this year, so much flavor, such fresh ingredients! My husband ordered the Birria Plate, which he loved. We shared a side of black beans and plaintains, but we really should have gotten two orders because those were out of this world too. The ambiance is casual. It almost felt like we were visiting friends for dinner. We will absolutely return on our next visit to Santa Barbara.

Chilaquiles Divorciados!

We had such a wonderful experience! Our server, Harley, provided amazing customer service, she was so attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles divorciados and the waffles, and both were AMAZING! If you come here, definitely request Harley... she's the best! Highly recommend!

The food here is amazing, reminds me as if I was in my hometown in Mexico. The service was friendly, quick and had great recommendations. They recommended the mole, which I highly recommend! The owners did a great job with the ambiance reminding me of restaurants in Mexico City.

We finally got around to trying this spot, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered the chicken mole enchiladas along with a passion fruit margarita. I expected more of a sweet, but it had a nice, subtle kick of spice which was great. The margarita was strong in the best way and they were very generous with the pour (no complaints here!). My partner ordered the shrimp enchiladas and had zero complaints, which says a lot. The whole vibe and decor around the restaurant was great. I'd definitely come back again, 10/10 would recommend. Service great s/o to Janet for helping us.

The ambiance, the food and the service is all great here. If you want to see how classy Spain/mexico is like including the service and most importantly the food then this spot is it.

Loved the ambience and the food. We got the: Vegetarian enchilada with mole - 4/5 - I really liked the stuffing (spinach and mushroom). The mole was a little bitter but the flavor grew on me. Rajas Tacos - 5/5 - absolutely loved the flavors and the cheese. Chips with beans and mole - complimentary, served with 4 salsas of different spice levels. The spiciest - with habanero and cheese was the best! Quick service, friendly staff and great decor. Parking in lots nearby - first 75 min free

no, they do not allowed dogs

Currently we don’t have outdoor seating

Do they and should we make reservations?

They don't take reservations and you cannot make reservations. If you show up and they are really busy, they might approach you in line and put down a number at a seat for you.

Are the chips and taco tortillas gluten free? Answer: NO they are not. Actually most of their menu is NOT gluten free. I went there and had to pay extra just to get corn…

No. However the tortillas and chips are immediately fresh and served nice and warm. You may want to ask them what options they have when you order. Their vegetarian choices are fantastic!…

The space smelled delicious and the girl taking my order was very nice and patient while I figured out what to get. I ended up getting a carne asada taco and a grilled fish taco. I also got their pomegranate mint drink. They have two rooms. We stayed in the one by the entrance where we ordered as the other room has a step down instead of a ramp. My child was sleeping in his stroller so logistically it made it easier to just stay in the first space. When I first got the items I staired at my Carne asada in confusion as it was just a sad pile of dry looking meat next to a very beautiful fish taco. My tired self didn't see the generous salsa bar filled with wonderful toppings. Alas it was like putting lipstick on a pig, as the meat almost was at jerky level. The fish taco while it looked amazing and the fish was fresh tasting, lacked the flavor explosion I was expecting. I appreciated the taste of the drink I got however it ran a bit sweet for my taste. Overall in an area with an amazing food scene it fell short for me, but at least filled me up.

As soon as we walked in, the woman working the register seemed visibly annoyed that we had come in before closing and rolled her eyes at us. She immediately said, "Umm, we're closing, so you want to take it to go?" We were already planning on taking our food to go, so the attitude felt completely unnecessary. While we were waiting for our order, another customer walked up to ask her a question, and she continued staring down at her phone and completely ignored her. The woman actually had to say, "Excuse me?" just to get her attention. I completely understand wanting to wrap things up at the end of a shift, but if a business is still open, customers shouldn't be made to feel unwelcome for coming in during posted business hours. We specifically chose this place because of the great reviews, so this was a really disappointing first impression.
